They sent a three person crew to clean out and redefine all flower beds and spread mulch. I have a large yard with numerous flower beds and shrubs. They did an excellent job, it looks great.

We have a contract with them. They do once a week mowing. We do spring and fall mulching, shrub trimming, and cutting tree limbs. The workers are good.

I have a contract with them. I am very pleased with them. They do an excellent job. I pay a flat rate every month. It includes shrubs, aeration, and fertilizing and whatever else needs to be done. All the things that do with landscaping. There is an additional fee for tree and branch. I've never used them for that. They're very good with their service. They are accommodating if I need anything. They're above average.

We have an actual woods that surrounds our corner lot house. While we adore our trees, we have more leaves in the imagination. Don, my husband, blows a sufficient amount of these leaves under the trees to serve as a mulch and fertilizer The balance of the leaves he blows and rakes in the ditches that surround the house as well. Premium vacuums up these leaves for us. In the autumn when it appears that the most of the leaves have fallen, I call their office to arrange a pick-up. The receptionist greets me cordially and schedules a date for the pick-up. We receive a phone call to tell us that the truck is on its way. I am sure that people who are not home during the day can arrive home to find the work completed, but as I request this call she always accommodates me. The workman/men arrive promptly and do the work both thoroughly and expeditiously. They are considerate and as Don likes to come out to watch he is always is greeted cordially.

Very well. Have used them before and will do so again. They are priced well and do a great job. Arrive when scheduled.

It went very well. I complained about the leaves that were blown back to my yard because they left the leaves in the front of my house & they came back the next day & cleaned it out. I'm very satisfied with their service.

I had called several other landscape companies (both from Angie's list and other sources). I told them all the same thing, "I needed a 'band-aid' for the backyard for now (with more to come in the spring). I.e. the yard was all weeds and we needed it to look better so the view from the sunroom would be better. ALL the other companies wanted to lay sod. Premium was the first to tell me that due to the heavy shade from all the trees grass would not grow. Chuck, the representative, instead suggested the paving stones, mulch, and plants that do fine in shade. He also suggested the rocks for underneath so it wouldn't just be dirt and mud for the dogs to track into the house. His quote was comparable to the others and theirs didn't include any river rocks! The crew showed up early the week I was told they would; they did a very nice job; and cleaned up afterwards!

Four trees were trimmed. One of the trees was an old oak tree that had to be trimmed using ropes high above the ground...an amazing sight to watch. The men were interested in making sure the homeowners were satisfied. A good experience.

I worked with Mark and overall he and his team did a excellent job. They wanted to make it right and the quality of work I am quite pleased with.

There is usually one person doing the work. I wish I could pay my bills online with them and we wish they could cut our weeds as well. However, the lawn looks good and their prices are competitive.

Very pleased from start to finish. Punctual, very responsive, very good value for the tremendous amount of work. The backyard looks amazing, new grass has come in beautifully. They are the best. Will definitely use them again for more landscaping.

Two people came to do the fence and the work was completed in a day. They arrived on time and left the area clean. They were direct and straight forward. There was no problem and we got exactly what we wanted.

Premium came out to give an estimate after another local company (Ryan's) walked off the job when I got upset about the lack of professionalism exhibited. I was gone when Ritchie came by to look at the property , so he spoke with my brother-in-law and they talked through the work. We had 4 big needs: drainage in the courtyard, drainage in the backyard, hardscape in the courtyard, sod installation in the backyard. Ritchie provided an itemized estimate with multiple options for the backyard. He included a schematic so I could see his vision for the work. We chose what worked best with our budget--natural sod. Paid our 50% deposit and Ritchie scheduled the work for 2-3 weeks later. I had a check in with him a few days prior--all systems go. They showed up the day of, on time (slightly early?) and got to work. It was a small team--crew of 3--who worked for two days. Ritchie and another manager stopped by daily, Ritchie came by in the morning and afternoon. I appreciated that as I felt confident that he was communicating with the foreman on what to do and the best way to do it (so I didn't have to...good, since I'm not the expert). The small crew stayed busy, busy, busy...only waiting a few times on materials deliveries (e.g., sod). They did a great job. Everything looks wonderful. There was an issue with one of my drain pipes/basins not draining well, and Ritchie sent some guys back a week later to fix it. Very satisfied customer. Worth every penny! The sod has taken root and is growing well. Several neighbors have commented on how nice everything looks. We love it!

We are very pleased with the job done by Premium Lawn and Landscape. The results are incredible and exceeded our expectations. The yard no longer looks like a jungle and is ready for its for sale photo op! The team from Premium was prompt and professional. They worked for most of the day and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to a friend. Wish we had discovered sooner how great it is to have these professional landscapers do the work; our yard could have looked like this while we still had a few more years to live here!

It was $28 for the mowing and $500 for the spring clean up. It was very good. They were responsive. Some we did not hear from. There was one whom we heard from but they never provided a bid. Another one said they did not do townhouse lawns but they would do the spring clean up for us. We were looking for one company that would do both.

I received the design and cost proposal in late March because they sent it to someone else's address initially. When I finally received the documents there were two fatal errors. First the design was missing 50% of what I asked for. Second, the proposal had no indication of what jobs/tasks should be done in which order so I could budget the project over the next three to five years. When I called in late March to speak to Katie, the designer, I was told she no longer worked there and Mark - the owner - had taken over her accounts. I got ahold of Mark about 10 days later and he came out within about a week. He attentively listened to my feedback and indicated that he would adjust the design based on my feedback. That was in mid-April. Its now two months later and despite my five phones calls to Premium and messages left for Mark I have no design and nothing to show for the $350 I spent. No one at the company had the courtesy to call me back after any of these messages. I was also going to hire Premium for mowing my yard too but will not consider them for this based on this experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they are not responsive or thorough and will not reply to you once they have cashed your check.

They are great but used to larger projects. Very poor on responding and missed appts. Didnt call When they were behind.

The erosion control landscaping was about $800. They did a good job. I have been using them for about a year. I turn to them for all my lawn needs.

Background: The previous owner of a house I bought in 2012 had done nothing to the yard in years. I had lived in a townhouse for 20 years where landscaping was included plus I have a bad back/knees, so hiring a professional company was mandatory. In 2013 I contracted with a company whose truck I saw all around my neighborhood. They are a much smaller enterprise than Premium and did a splendid job--great attention to detail, good communications, etc. I felt like I and my property got individualized care. BUT, they were very expensive so I decided to interview other companies in 2014 in hopes of getting the same quality and service for less money. Premium seemed to fit the bill. Premium: A+ for customer service Premium is a very large, successful company. Based on reviews, they are stand-outs for large, expensive hardscape and landscape work and one-time jobs. In my case, my demands were too great. They couldn't make any money if all their residential customers needed the same care as feeding as I and my lawn did. Early on and by mutual agreement we both cut our losses. The communications were professional and courteous. They were fair and reasonable which they didn't have to be. (I didn't get as large a refund as I had hoped for and they refunded me more than they wanted to--I think that is a good description of a "fair deal".) I have to conclude that the fact that it wasn't a good fit for me personally has more to do with me than them since they get such excellent reviews. That is why I said I would hire them again. They have thousands of customers so they are surely a safe bet for other small customers.

They do a decent job. One time they cut my lawn tree short and the detail is not quite what I want it to be and they corrected it. Their communication and responsiveness are quick.

They were terrible. First of all when they cut the trees, the did not fill the holes, they planted roses where it would get no sun. They did not finish the job. WHen they did not return, we tried calling them to find out what is going on, then they decided that they did not want to work on our lawn. THey over charged and left a mess

Overall I gave Premium a "B", which is good. I would definitely recommend them for hardscaping services. Hardscaping = A Had a retaining wall and patio put in our backyard. The team arrived promptly every day and moved through the project quickly. We are happy with the results. Price was reasonable. Project Manager = A The Premium project manager was responsive, came by almost every day to discuss the progress with me and ask and answer questions. Estimate process also went smoothly. Very professional. Fence = A Looks good, went up fast, met specifications. Electric = C It took almost 2 months after the start of the project for the electric to be started/completed. That delay and frustration was an F. I would ensure that timeline expectations are set when planning electrical work. The electric subcontractor was not responsive to Premium, which was a concern. The actual execution of the electrical work was an A: looks good, no problems. Landscaping = C The grading in the backyard was OK, still seeing puddling and not enough drainage. Took a while to get a team back out to finish up an area that turned into a pond. The sod was mixed, one row is green, the next yellow, so the treatment was the same, just hit or miss sod quality. Follow up work to seed the areas of sod that died were supposed to be discounted, but still more than other companies. Chose to do follow-up landscape work with another vendor.

Chuck, the owner, closely supervises (and participates in) the work. Chuck loves equipment and has all the tractors, chippers, etc. you can imagine, which is good especially for handling big logs/limbs. Price is OK, but Chuck really wants to put a crew to work all day so not recommended for small jobs. Also did not have too much luck on shrub plantings. But recommended for heavy stuff. He also has done repeat work for my neighbors.

We contacted Premium Lawn & Landscape via Angie's List, and they responded very promptly. They followed up with a phone call to set up the earliest possible time for an estimate. It was Christmas, and they managed to schedule the estimate within a week. Then, Ritchie showed up ahead of time. He waited for me to arrive, very professionally. Then, I showed him the trees we want to trim, and he provided professional opinion on how he would advice us to do it. He said the minimum rate is $300 per work, and our job needs less than that, and offered to trim some other trees in the backyard for us. Overall, they are very responsive, punctual and professional. I would consider using their service for the next Spring.
