Tree (~40' Virginia pine) came down one night and land on top of 2 smaller maple trees; getting hung up about 6' off the ground. Call Chuck at Yards Are Us for an estimate. He provided one that evening that I called back and accepted. His crew came out the next day and removed the tree (and the 7' worth of stump left). When I came home from work the tree was gone and there was no sign anyone had been here or a tree had even fallen.

They also came in the fall to remove and plant some plants. They were prompt and showed up when they said they would. Their price wasn?t great, but it was comparable to some of the other quotes that we got. They did a good job overall and their workmanship was really good.

Things went excellently, they did a great job for a good price.

They first came in and removed the old deck which sat just off the ground. I had spray painted the outline of the kidney shaped patio that I had wanted so they went ahead and began digging it out immediately. They went 8 inches deep so to help prevent my Crape Myrtle from send runners through the patio. They filled the area with crushed stone followed by a finer medium on top. Everyday they showed up and made progress . The wall was initially faced with larger stone which I didn't like. I asked them to rip it out and put in much thinner stone (to match my dry stack garden walls. To my surprise they didn't argue one bit and by the next day they had it faced with the correct stone. The patio looks amazing. Mark was an attentive PM for the job and I will definitely be using them again.

Jeff Murphy not only came in a timely manner to meet with me to discuss what we needed, but he has been to our property several times to oversee the crew and to ensure that everything was being done properly. He noticed what they had overlooked and proactively ensured it was done. And the crew has done a great job! Our property has never looked better. I highly recommend this company, and I am sure we will have a long, ongoing relationship with them.

Terribly frustrating experience. We worked with Mark to help us develop a plan for the front and back yard in our newly constructed home. He came up with what appeared to be a good design for this big job, but did not include us in any of the decision-making about what shrubs/trees to use. When we asked questions about a certain plant, he told us to go on the internet and learn about it. That should have been our first sign to stop the project, as we have learned in hindsight. He gave us an estimate for the work, but never outlined the cost of each of the plants being put in. His team did come out within a few weeks to do the initial work, but they did not do a great job, and getting them back out to correct any mistakes was very difficult, almost impossible. He did not plant things we requested, and actually lied to us about it when we questioned him. We had many plants/trees die within weeks of planting, and we could not get Mark to come back to replace them for months. The dead plants were then replaced with the exact same plants so they continued to die. After months of numerous e-mails and phone calls to try to get him to put in some different plants, Mark informed us we were no longer under warranty for any of the plants so he would do no more. He was very rude, unprofessional, and apparently not very knowledgleable about what type of plants would work best in our yard, since he put in plants that repeatedly died. The entire process dragged on for about 1 year, and since we had already paid them in full (they refused to complete the work until payment was made), they did not care if it was completed to our satisfaction or not.

They have done a lot of work for me. They did a very good job. There service was excellent. They got the job done quicker than I thought they would. They were very punctual.

Excellent. Very detailed breakdown of costs. Costs were competitive. Work was started and completed on time.

They were fairly good. My experience with them was okay. I had some miscommunication with the secretary, who didn?t relay the right message a couple of times. As a result, there was some mistrust there. Other than that, it was pretty good. I was happier with the work they did last year. This past season, they did quite a thorough job. They did a better job last year than this year. However, I have stopped using them as I have decided not to spend money on lawn service, in order to save money.

Good work but there was a lack of communication. Mark gave us estimates for the three parts mentioned above. We liked the estimate being broken out clearly by result, rather than pricing materials and labor. He explained the project and had good ideas. The work was scheduled for a month or so later. On the Monday they were to begin, we got a call stating they would be arriving the next day. Unfortunately, this meant neither of us would be there to discuss details with them (we had made sure to be there Monday). Work progressed quickly and efficiently, in three days versus the five Mark had predicted. However, by Thursday night they and their equipment were gone and several things we had discussed with Mark were not complete. It took several phone calls and fax to get them to reply, but eventually the work was completed to our satisfaction.

She was very helpful, professional, and I would recommend her to others.

They arrived on time, completed the work in a very professional manner, cleaned up afterwards and left everything looking really great. This is the fourth time that we have used this company and their representative, Mark Aitken-Cade, has always provided us with excellent service.

It was exceptionally easy to explain the problem, get an estimate, and schedule an appointment. Yards Are Us worked with my schedule, as well as my neighbor's, who also had work done. They removed the limb and removed wood with hardly a trace they had been there.

The workers were nice. They showed up when they were supposed to, and the work was good, but not great. They didn't do any follow up, which would have been nice. They are not pro-active enough, and I got tired of having to contact them for follow up issues.

Job went as described. Crew was on time and cleaned up well. We've also used Chuck to install sod and provide wood chips for our backyard play area. He also installed some larger bushes for us. He's very pleasant to work with.

They were very responsive. Their estimates are very reasonable. They are very clean and they do a good job. They were very professional. I would defiantly use them again.

Great! We are rather "horticultural challenged" and Mark and his designer, Kelly, did a wonderful job creating a landscape design that met our desire to remain "natural" to the wooded surroundings and yet stay fairly low maintenance, despite our inability to be specific about the plants that we wanted.

Called and left a voicemail over the weekend (on Sat) but no one got back on the next working day. So, called again on Tuesday and spoke with the front office lady but she was neither able to give an appointment in a reasonable time nor have a convenient time for the designer to come and take a look - So, it didn't work out!

The landscaping has not been completed even though I got the bill. The mulch is so thin that weeds are popping up everywhere. The mowing has been fine.

They come out weekly. They quality of service is great. The only problem I have had is that I have askled them for some estimates and they have not gotten back to me.

Job went very smoothly. After receiving estimate work started about 1 month later. Entire job took 2 1/2 weeks to complete. Richie, managed the job and checked in 1-2 times daily on the work crew. Any concern I had he immediately dealt with and corrected. I am very satisfied with the work. Working crew did a good job of cleaning up after they left. The only advice I would give, would to be able to call Richie directly vs. calling in to the main office and leaving messages.

I contacted Premium Lawns and Landscape at the beginning of April, hoping to have my home ready for showing at the beginning of May. The company promptly sent a landscape designer to my house Kelly who determined what I wanted, asked intelligent questions, made good suggestions, and measured the dimensions of my yard. In less than a week she e-mailed me a professional and quite lovely design that was roughly four times the size of my budget, but as promised, she broke down the parts of the design so that it was easy to pick and choose what I wanted, and thus bring down the cost. One of the things I struck out was re-doing the patio, and that almost halved the estimate. I urged Kelly to do the impossible and schedule the work for the last week in April, and she promised to do what she could. Indeed, Kelly brought the landscape installers a full week before April s end, who put in a long day of work bringing Kelly s vision to fruition. The yard is beautiful! I don t know how I will bring myself to leave it behind when the home sells. I was very impressed with the hard-working crew, with Kelly s promptness in responding to the questions I occasionally left her by voice mail, and with her talent in landscape design.

They did a fantastic job - much cheaper than other estimates I received for the work. Top quality, reliable, customer-oriented, attentive to detail, and cleaned up their mess. I can't recommend them highly enough!
