Stanley Steemer

After viewing their commercial on TV I went to the Stanley Steemer website and got an estimate based on room(s) needing cleaning and $99 plus extra for the hall and 1/2 bath came to $134.00. I do have a large kitchen and realized it would probably be higher on actual estimate but I was unprepared for the $375.00 estimate I received. I was shocked and asked where was the $99.00 web offer and I was told "that must be some other franchise" I went back to the website after they left and there is still a "quote/estimate" calculator that, again, gave $134.00. The "C" rating for Professionalism is based on the response I got to inquiring about the $99.00 website quote. They were not rude or inapprpriate in any way and left without fuss when I indicated they did not need to leave a written quote.

I was very happy with them. They were very professional and the quality of work was good. They did a great job in making sure that the carpets were clean.

They were good. I was satisfied with the carpet cleaning. It took a little longer to dry than I thought it would. It was annoying as they had made me to believe that the carpets would dry soon. I moved all the little things. They moved all the other heavier furniture. They were very responsive and professional. I think I will hire them again in the future.

This service only took 20-30 minutes. Two guys, friendly, showed up early within window and the office called when they were ~20 minutes from arriving.. Definitely made a difference in the rooms they cleaned. Placed paper underneath all furniture to ensure nothing rubbed off on carpet. Had a portable credit card machine that also delivered receipts, making for easy payment. All in all, made for a very easy and clean process.

The work was fine and they were easy to contact.

They did a good job. My only complaint is that they try to sell something every time they come here. They did not do it this time as I feel that they must have received enough complaints about it.

I called the local franchise in the morning, and, to my surprise, they scheduled my carpets to be cleaned THAT AFTERNOON. I was given a 4 hour window within which they would arrive (between noon and 4 PM) -- they arrived at 2:30. A little before their arrival, I received an automated call from Stanley Steemer that offered me carpet cleaning with a hallway done for free; the call also offered me the option to not receive such calls in the future, which I opted for. When the crew arrived, I asked them about the phone offer. The crew chief (there were only 2 of them) seemed to not be aware of the phone offer, but said something like "let's see what you have". I asked if I could trade the "free hall cleaning" for a "free stairway" cleaning, and he said he could clean my upstairs hallway for $15 and do the stairs for free. I thought that was a good deal and took it. They were done by 4 PM. Within the next day or two I received a phone call from someone at the local franchise asking if I was satisfied with their work or had any problems.

They were on time and did a good job. The only comment I have is that they did not move as much furniture as I thought they should to clean underneath. They said their tool could reach, but they couldn't really see if those areas required special attention. I did not expect them to move my heavy bed or dressers, but some of my furniture was light-weight. Next time I'll ask when I set up an appointment.

There were no problems. They came in, did their job, answered and questions and cleaned up when they were finished.

The technicians arrived right on time, I showed them what needed to be done, and they got right to work. They finished 3 rooms in about an hour, and the carpets looked great when they were done. They were comfortable to be around, professional, and competent. They also wrapped the feet of the furniture to prevent from any moisture damage as it dries. They raked the carpet when they were done so the only thing you saw was the clean carpet and no footprints.

The team actually arrived 2 hours early (after calling first, of course); they asked which pieces of furniture needed to be moved; the cleaning was quick, thorough, and very effective - even long-standing pet stains were removed; the guys were polite, answered all of our questions, and cleaned everything up completely.

I scheduled my carpet cleaning on a weekday, and they easily were able to accommodate my needs for a date. They do have a four hour time window for when they will be available that day, but their friendly staff called my cell phone to let me know that they were on their way to my home. I met them there, only to find that they were easily able to have all their equipment reach my 2nd story condo. The cleaning team was very knowledgeable of their cleaning services, and answered all my questions. Overall, my carpets look brand new, and I very pleased with the service I received from Stanley Steemer.

They arrived on time. They were polite. They got all of the spots removed. They finished the job on time.

The house had been emptied for a move, so there was nothing to get in the way of a thorough cleaning of our carpets. They did a fine job, quite quickly. We are pleased with the results. They included deodorizer and scotch guarding in their price. I would recommend them to others and use them again myself.

The office called to say the cleaners were on their way. The two gentlemen were very friendly and professional. They did a good job and the carpet was clean and completely dry in 24 hours. The cleaners receive a commission for all additional items they sell, so they try to push more services or items. This is not heavy handed selling, but rather suggestions. I will use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend their services.

Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner really works. One of the best things was that we got in on a very good special, so we got a lot of carpet cleaned for a very low price. These people were just super polite. I really feel like we got a very good deal and our carpets have never looked better.

I was really pleased with their service. I had seen their advertisements all over, but I never thought of using their services. After seeing the very professional job that was performed, I plan on using them from now on.

The work took less than an hour. They arrived promptly, and agreed to clean under the bed which involved moving the mattress and box springs. They were pleasant and professional. The carpets looked much better and smelled fresh again after they were finished. One (none-pet) stain did not come out. The complete job was more expensive than the previous year's cleaning which involved a much larger area. The deodorizer apparently is the costly part.

The work was done in a timely manner. The workers were neat and polite.

Both technicians were on time, personable, professional, glad to answer my questions and explain what they were doing and what to expect after the treatment was completed. I have called them on 2 occasions and will continue to call them for all of my steam cleaning needs and possibly dryer vent servicing.

The company called 15 minutes prior to technicians arriving within the pre-arranged time slot. The two technicians were in uniforms and did an outstanding job and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them again.

They responded pretty quickly to our call. They were very professional and organized. They were able to get my carpet cleaned pretty quickly, and made it look great. All of our carpets dried the same day they cleaned it. I felt very comfortable having them in my home.

The carpet people that came out were able to get my flooring done in just a couple of hours. They were able to get all of our stains out and worked very hard on my high traffic areas. Our carpet didn't take very long at all to dry. I was very impressed with the service that they provided us with.

They did do an all right job on our air ducts but I really didn't like what work they did on my carpeting. I do not feel that they were able to get them very clean at all. We had also purchased the stain removal from them and that doesn't work very well at all. I really wasn't satisfied with their overall service at all.

The man showed up on time and was very nice to deal with. He called before he came out. They also offered special services like stain resistance. They had a pretty good service. I have used them before, and I always asked for the same person that has done my carpeting in the past.
