My trash company would not haul away the old cast iron wood stove that we'd had removed from our original fireplace. I called 123 to see if they would haul it. I also decided to have them haul away a love seat that I was going to be replacing. Their price was based on the size of the load. I really liked their philosophy of trying to take as little to the landfill as possible and recycling items or parts whenever possible. They also work with Habitat for Humanity whenever possible to recycle goods.

Truck arrived on time. Workers were professional and knowledgeable. All items were removed from home quickly.

I used them before and they respond quickly, it’s easy to get an appointment and they are on time, pleasant, professional and efficient.

Was able to get a convenient and timely pickup time. Had an old couch, 3 chairs, and 2 large older/heavy TV's removed. Friendly and prompt phone service. I received a phone call during my service window to let me know they were 20 minutes away. This helped me plan my time. Sam and Luis picked up the items. They were courteous and efficient. I could not have asked for better service. A follow up phone call was a nice touch. I will be using this company again.

Two man arrived 2 trucks, on time. They promptly loaded the container of the units in to one of the trucks and swept unit. They completed the job in less time than I expected. They were professional & courteous.

Darien and Max were great. They came early in the assigned window of time and finished in 30 min. They were professional and very friendly.

I called on a Tuesday and they provided me an accurate estimate over the phone. They were able to come out the very next day. they gave me a 2 hr window and a commitment to call at least 30 mins before they arrived. They called before the start of the 2 hr window to let me know when they would arrive. They were very prompt. Max and Luis were very professional, able, friendly and easy to communicate with. In addition to removing a cat-scratched sofa, I had a difficult issue in that I had junk in the attic of my condo, with only a step ladder for access. They cheerfully took on the task in the attic and got it cleaned out quickly. I will definitely use them in the future if I have any hauling needs. Thanks guys!

I called because they were running a special on Angie's List.. Talked to Cullen who advised me of the correct price (since I only had one item to dispose of.) Turns out it was cheaper. He was professional and pleasant. Cullen followed up with an email confirming date of pickup and service to be provided. On the pickup date, Max and Darien gave me an half hour's advance notice -as promised. They showed up within the appointed window time and carried my very heavy 20 year old treadmill downstairs out to the truck. No muss, no fuss. It was a pleasure dealing with such a professional company and staff. Just can't say enough good things about them. Definitely recommend using them.

Two pleasant fellows from 123 Junk arrive on schedule to take away 4 large and heavy items. They removed a metal ladder, wooden bookcase, metal closet, and a heavy cast iron electric fireplace. Max and Luis did a great job to quickly and efficiently remove these items. I like that 123 JUNK makes efforts to donate or recycle the "junk." Max and Luis said they thought that my items would be welcome as donations at the charities they work with. I will receive a donation slip in the next two weeks if that happens. I really like this donation feature provided by 123 JUNK. I much prefer it to going through the hassle of trying to sell things online. 123JUNK made a follow up call to me the same day to make sure everything went well. I appreciate their follow up too.

Worker called ahead and arrived on time. Workers were very courteous and did the job as requested and were fast.

Two young men arrived on time. They were polite and worked efficiently. They were careful not to scratch walls even removed pictures and replaced them.

They explained the services and provided a rough estimate, over the phone. The were flexible with scheduling, which was important as we had only a few days to finishing moving. They took everythnig and we received a receipt for the donated items. They were very helpful and careful when moving items, so as not to damage or dirty the house, which was important as we had to do the walk throught for closing in a couple of days.

It was a great experience. I won't hesitate to call 123 Junk in the future.s

Last night I put out bathroom fixtures in my driveway for a pre-scheduled Habitat for Humanity pick up. H4H called me this afternoon to say their truck was full and they couldn't come today so they might get to me tomorrow. I had intended on calling 123Junk after the H4H pickup to collect the discards and the demo debris from my bathroom remodeling job. I couldn't leave the fixtures in the driveway another day without risking the wrath of my neighbors (tubs and a toilet!) and I didn't want to drag it all back inside my garage. So I called 123Junk today. As usual, they came to my rescue! They arrived this afternoon and to take the H4H stuff to drop off (they will send me a reciept) for donations and the debris to the dump. The stuff filled up half their truck! the fee includes labor, trip costs and dump fees. I am thrilled to get the material out of my garage and driveway and thrilled with the service. I recommend them highly.

Initially, I used the contact form on their website, listing in detail the contents of the locker and the street address of the location. I had not received a response within 24 hours, so contacted the number on their website and asked to schedule an appointment, but was told I would need to leave a message, so did so. I was contacted within 12 hours of leaving the message and scheduled the pickup, noting the street address of the location (directly off Route 7) again. I was also told the crew would call when they were twenty minutes out, and at that point I should drive out to the location and meet them in the parking lot to allow access to the locker. Received call on morning of pickup indicating they were twenty minutes out, so drove to location, arriving within 15 minutes, and waited... No crew arrived. I checked with office staff and they indicated I had not missed anyone. I work overseas, and was only in town for a week so did not have a mobile phone. They had contacted my Hotel room initially, so I waited for an hour, then returned to the Hotel room. Later that day I received an e-mail indicating they had arrived on time, and had waited for me... Clearly they went to the wrong location. If you are familiar with NOVA, then you know there are literally hundreds of storage facilities throughout the greater DC area, which is why I provided the street address. They also indicated they had left messages at the Hotel, this may be true but I did not receive them. Mistakes happen, and a mobile phone on my part would have helped. I asked if they were still available that day, but received no response. When the response did arrive the next day, it indicated a deposit may now be required up front in order to re-schedule, since the trucks dispatch from Sterling. I am not sure why as the Storage facility is in Sterling. Bottom line, I was there within twenty minutes of the call per our verbal agreement, and they were not. Also the assumption seemed to be that I was at fault, I wasn't. In summary, I used the following service instead: Git Rid Of It - http://www.removethatjunk.com (funny name, great service). The appointment was easy to set up, and they arrived at the location early and charged less ($250.0 versus $299.0 for a half full 10x15 locker). It goes without saying that I wouldn't use or recommend 123 Junk.
