Their estimate was the least expensive of all movers we considered, with no hidden charges. We were surprised when they said they could do the move with just two people, whereas other movers proposed anywhere from 3 to 4 movers. But their two movers worked quickly, carefully and tirelessly and got the move done within the estimated time. They treated our belongings and house with respect and there was not a single dent or scratch. Our movers were owners and were totally invested into providing an excellent experience.

They called me about an hour after purchasing the deal so they were very responsive. They also informed me of how to obtain a refund.

Multiple move job - excellent work! After searching this website for movers, this company's big deal caught my eye. I reached out and explained that I needed to pick up flooring from one location and needed to drop off furniture, books and other items to the Salvation Army. The 4 hour clock didn't start until they arrived and once they showed up, they were performed like professionals. They finished in three hours and maintained a positive attitude through the entire project. I would use them again in the future and recommend to others. Job well done!

I spoke with Arthur to schedule my move. On the phone and via email, we agreed on the Angie's List special price of $299.99 for two men and four hours to complete my move. I was told that there would be additional costs of the use of packing tape ($3.00 per role) and other misc items that sometimes are used in moving. He also told me that a move taking longer than 4 hours would result in a $75/hr charge. I only had a one bedroom apartment along with some living room furniture, so I doubted that it would take longer than 4 hours. Arthur and Nick arrived promptly at 9AM on the day of our move and after a walk through, quickly got to work. My apartment building required that they covered the floor of the lobby as well as the elevator to prevent scratching. I had not warned them of this, but they handled this extra hassle without a problem or extra charge. They were both extremely professional and focused as they wrapped and moved my furniture. I had already packed most of my smaller belongings into boxes and garbage bags. Almost like a conveyer belt they emptied my apartment. Nick told me they could professionally pack my flat screen TV, but if I didn't want the extra $40 charge, he suggested that he just wrap it with a blanket and packing tape and then move it into my car. I chose this second method. They finished unloading my belongings in my new apartment in just over 3 hours (45 minutes under the allotted time). Everything was intact and without a scratch. Throughout the process I was impressed with their friendliness, focus and professionalism. I was weary of using a moving company because of the horror stories I'd heard over the years. However, Arthur and Nick dispelled those fears. Frankly, I have never had a more stress-free move in my life. I had a great experience with Arko Moving and would definitely use them again in the future.

I recently moved from Waldorf, MD to Rockville, MD (about two weeks ago) and was planning on moving myself until a friend recommended I use Arko. I gave them a call and they were very helpful, offering to work around my schedule to help me move. Initially I was concerned about using a local moving company but Artur assured me that they would be able to come out and give me a free estimate before I committed.. so why not! I was pleasantly surprised at the care with which they packed my stuff into boxes and loaded them into the truck. The process made moving much less stressful and the hours can't be beat. I would highly recommend these guys and will be going back for any future moving needs.

ARKO was fantastic. They were on time, prefessional, polite. They took great care of her things, nothing was damaged in the move at all- none of her furniture, none of my walls. They were much more affordable than the big name moving companies and the customer service was outstanding.

It went great! They were prompt, reliable and competent. I couldn't believe how respectful and clean they were. This made my life very easy that day. Very glad I stumbled into using them. Highly recommend and will use again.
