Water Damage America

My house was drowning and I called Water Damage America for rescue. We got their services for demolition and drying out, packing up for restoration and putting it all back. They did a great job and we were very pleased with their service. Their staff was very polite and welcoming.

We had a leaking water heater, and by the time we found it had been leaking, the water had done significant water and mold damage to our floors and drywall. Our insurance carrier gave us the names of a few restoration companies in the area, fortunately I chose Water Damage America. Water Damage America arrived the next morning after our call, and immediately went to work setting up industrial strength dehumidifiers to dry everything out. This process took a week due to the extent of water damage. Our project manager kept us informed about how things were progressing, and was always available for us to call him to ask questions, which he answered thoroughly. The crews who did the work were very professional and thorough. If they were running just a few minutes behind schedule, they called us to apologize. They removed and disposed of all the damaged materials, leaving nothing behind. They were so thorough, that when they pulled out our washer and dryer to remove the floor covering, and before replacing them, they cleaned the walls and the machines themselves, which I was embarrassed to admit I never clean and the area was filthy...not anymore!! Finally our house is dried out and ready to have repairs made. The contractor we contacted was very pleased with how well everything was dried out, allowing repair work to proceed. When stuff went the wrong way from our downstairs toilet, partially flooding our downstairs due to a sewer blockage, Water Damage America sent out their team promptly. WDA were both prompt and professional, not fussed about the job, and went straight to work, while offering information on the process both relating to the job itself and the insurance side of it. These guys are fantastic.

I am a commercial property manager in Alexandria and I was very fortunate to work with Water Damage America Inc. This was my first time dealing with a major issue like this so I was a bit clueless. It was a Sunday afternoon when my tenant called with the flood disaster. A large pipe burst and flooded out two bathrooms, hallways and two conference rooms. Thankfully, team arrived and immediately sprung into action! WDAi drove every day to our location to maintain/monitor the equipment until drying was complete. Never once late and always professional. The next issue we ran into was they discovered black mold. Again, I was clueless what to do. WDAi made a call to get mold treatment scheduled. I don't think this experience would have been so flawless for me. It's rare someone goes above and beyond. I am so grateful and definitely recommend Water Damage America Inc.!

Wow! Second hire for this company for my house in Alexandria, VA, All A again! Came out to look at the damage in my wall from a leak in my roof. Was told again, how to dry it out completely and about how long it should take. Didn't charge me a dime & even gave some helpful information regarding the roof repair. It's nice to know there are genuinely good people looking to help others out during a very stressful time.

Water damage is definitely not a great thing to experience, especially in your own home. Recently they came out to my parents house. Team took their time and was very thorough on the diagnosing process. Because they took their time and was well prepared, they were able to spot things and point out more problematic areas than other restoration companies I had out. In the end, after spending hours, they were able to give me pointers and advice that ended saving me a lot of money. I can't complain about that. Very genuine and would never take advantage of your situation. I would definitely refer Water Damage America to anyone of my friends or family. Definitely worth the time, money and A rating!!!!

Water damage America inc. was great! They arranged to come out and assess damage from what ended up being a pipe leak within a couple hours of me calling them. They helped walk me through the process of doing an insurance claim since I had not been through that before. They helped arrange all work required to get the leak fixed in a timely manner and helped connect me with companies to complete the repair work. If you have an emergency, definitely give Water Damage America a call.

So I came home and my basement was soaked!! Everything soaked. We called Water Damage America Inc. AND their crew was there in less than 2hrs! So prompt. They were very nice, explained everything and were sympathetic. But man they were quite efficient, clean and quick setting up, getting all that water out of there and starting the drying out. They were so knowledgeable about the insurance process and I instantly trusted them. They were always responsive to any and all questions no matter when we’d call. I’m happy with the job they did! I am a Realtor and my sellers had some water/ moisture damage detected in the interior walls during an inspection. We needed to get this taken care of asap. I recently had a flood in my apartment. Water Damage America Inc. was the first company I called and they showed up within the hour. They took quick action to extract all of the water from the apartment since water could seep into the apartment below me. The company took it one step further and checked on the unit below me to ensure water damage did not extend to the unit below me. I really appreciate how quickly they had the damage repair done. It was a huge relief to know that the flood damage was fixed so quickly so I didn't have to deal with it for weeks. It really looked like they knew what they were doing!

Great water damage company. A pipe burst in my kitchen and began flooding all the wood under the sink as well as the floor and the walls around it! A team arrived in the middle of the night to help me and couldn't have been nicer. They brought a plumber to stop the flow and suctioned all the water from the ground and cabinet. They used an advanced camera that I'd never seen before to detect the flow of water from behind the walls. They also left a bunch of fans and machinery to alleviate the moisture and humidity. These experts are the best in the business. Would recommend to anyone!

Impressive and seemed to be committed to quality. Due to a leak in our water heater (Water Damage) our house was flooded. We called these guys and they came immediately to solve our dilemma. If they had not come when they did, we probably would have had damage to our furniture and further damage to walls and floors. Their attitude and professionalism was quite impressive and seemed to be committed to quality. I would definitely call them again or highly refer them to anyone I know!

It was my first experience with water damage as a homeowner and it was bad - it leaked from my attic, through my brand new hardwood on my second floor and into the garage. Sam showed up on time, had the drying equipment to the house within an hour and had everything set up so quickly that I was back to work by lunchtime. Everything dried out exactly as they said and my hardwood isn't warped! I would totally recommend Water Damage America to friends and family!

I would absolutely recommend this company for basements that have flooded. This company is amazing to work with and their crew worked tirelessly to restore my basement back to normal. I called these guys for a flood in my home. They arrived in 30 minutes and moved fast to dry out my floors. Thank goodness that more than one person came because they were able to salvage some furniture and items that I had on the floor. They dried out my place in 2 days and submitted everything to my insurance so that I did not have to worry about payment. Easy process and I highly recommend them for flood dry outs.

I had my whole wash room and living room flooded after a washer line busted, a different company came out and labeled it a "total loss." I wanted a second opinion and called Water Damage America, Sam came out, took some reading, and said he'd be able to save most of my living-room floor. I went ahead and contracted WDA. He finished what he promised to do in the time that he said he would. In our case the damage was more than initially anticipated so he explained the follow-on steps and the timing of those steps. He came back as promised and completed the follow on steps in time. I would recommend them highly and commend them for the excellent job they did.

I had a great experience with Water Damage America. They did a great work on the restoration project. I talked to a lot of restoration companies out there, but i liked their honesty and Professionalism more than any other. Highly recommended.

Bought a service call coupon - and called to schedule the appointment. Was notified by Sam that the company does not fix leaks - they only dry them. A little misleading from the description as it does not seem they are a FULL service company.
