Description of Work: Backward Fence

Description of Work: Rob and his crew replaced an existing fence and put up a shed. They did a great job. Rob started by consulting on what our needs were - and what options would work best. We wanted a custom shed built along the fenceline, and he did a great job recommending a solution and explaining what he was going to do. He and his crew always showed up on time, did what they promised, cleaned up after themselves. They were at our home each day until the job was done. No chasing after him to finish any little bits. We will be using Rob again in the future when we need more fencing replaced.

Description of Work: I thought Adirondack seemed great but in the end they didn't want to work with us. We waited for a proposal and when I called to ask if there was a hold-up on our proposal I was told that they "didn't think they could do the work to our satisfaction" and therefore didn't want to provide a proposal. I had seen their work at a few houses and can't imagine that our requirements were outside their capabilities (a 6' cedar fence with 5' solid and a 1' picket topper, with top and bottom rails, stainless nails, and steel gate posts and frame for the driveway). I took their response as a polite way of saying they thought we were unreasonable and too high maintenance to work with. We did ask a lot of questions, so maybe that was it, but I can't say for sure what was up. In the end we had a very easy process with Accokeek and were perfectly satisfied with their work. If you know what you want and fit with Adirondack, they do have good prices and seem like good people.

Description of Work: We were able to make an appointment with Rob the next day after contacting him. Rob came to our house explained different options for our fence. The fence we choose was a privacy fence along our backyard property line. His crew came out and worked h****** some cold days. I am very pleased with Rob, the price and the professional crew. Will call him again for any future work.

Description of Work: Rob from Adirondack Builders responded to my call after a severe storm brought down several large limbs, damaging our split rail fence. Rob was the only fencing contractor that actually came over to see the damage and give us a realistic estimate. (I contacted five.) Because of our dog, we needed the fence repaired as soon as we could get it done. Rob was able to work us into his schedule and get the job done and done well.

Description of Work: No show for pre-scheduled estimate

Description of Work: Extended existing cedar fence an additional 35 feet long a major road. Everything went extremely well from the first estimate to the final job that was done early as promised. I love the fence that helps with the road noise and adds privacy.
