Made team available on preferred date. Conducted pre-contract review of work to be done and provided an estimate for overage. Team arrived on time, worked hard, completed job as agreed and cleaned up before they left. We would definitely use them again.

The service was amazing. Jamie's plan was exactly what I wanted. Donnell and the crew were hard working and responsive, and Jamie came out each day they worked to check everything. It was a tough job and they were great.

Very nice guys. Great customer service. 2 months later everything still looks good.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for 6 hours of labor for $199. They came out a reviewed everything I wanted done and agreed it could be done within the 2 hours (3 laborers for 2 hours each). There were scheduling problems between my travel and the weather. I ended up having a friend be there to monitor since I couldn't get away from work on the day they were available. They came and did everything as promised. Over all I would recommend them to a neighbor.

J & J Landscape Management, Inc had the lowest prices that we found. They were great, they did a good job. The only gripe I had with them is they told me a particular day they were coming out and after taking off from work to meet them they didn't show up. They showed up the following week, but they did good work and they did give me a free lawn mowing to make up for my day of PTO that I lost, but it didn't equate.

The job went very well. J&J were very professional and kept in touch with me throughout the entire process. They answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns prior to the installation. During the job they kept in regular contact and the supervisors came to check on the work throughout the process. Any time I had a question they were responsive, always friendly and professional. I live in a townhouse and was dealing with association rules and some difficult neighbors, and a very challenging delivery of 21,000 lbs+ of materials in a townhouse easement. J&J made me feel at ease throughout the process and in the end, I have a beautiful back yard. I had received three different quotes and I found J&J to be very reasonably priced. I would work with them again and I highly recommend them to others.

I met with several companies from Angie's List and decided to go with J&J Landscaping based on their professionalism. The office staff (Kate) is super amazing. Donnell, whom I met with to go over the job, was prompt and very professional. I bought a deal on Angie's List and added extra hours due to the size of my backyard. The crew (led by Ray) was so courteous and made it clear that they wanted to please my and meet my expectations. They sure did both!!! I will definitely use this company several times a year to maintain the backyard.

There was some miscommunication from the beginning with our Angie's List coupon purchase not showing up and it continued throughout our experience. The worst part of our experience was our interaction with their office, but the owner was very involved and helped smooth things out. I do recommend reading the proposals carefully to make sure it matches what you expect and discussed verbally. The job itself was done very well with only a few minor hiccups which did not detract from our overall experience. They also added some new soil as compensation which we appreciated. It made it considerably easier for us to reset our front yard (they also did work in the back). Although this job did not go without a hitch, I was impressed by their efforts to make things right. I think that says a lot about their company.

It was ok. I had to call them to finish the job and they came right back the same day. I would use them again in the future. They were very courteous, and very accommodating to my schedule.

They did a very poor job. I had to take out all the roots that they left behind. They were only there for about an hour and 20 minutes so I didn’t get the full 6 hours that the deal stated. They did offer to come back if I had any other work, but I didn’t have any at the time. I will not use them again in the future.

They were very prompt and polite. They seem to be very honest about what they can and can’t do.

It was excellent. They work was very good, and the workers were very professional. I would use them again the future. Their response is very quick.

Well, it is the busy season and i"m sure the sale on Angie's list pounded them but it took over 30 days to get this 3 hour job started and finished. Communication was not as good as it could have been but the finished product was great. Sale was for $199 for 6 man hours (two men 3hrs) and the estimate was for and extra hours work for a total of $350 for quite a few leaves.

The experience was great. The folks at J&J were courteous, responsive and professional.

J&J has maintained our yard and beds for years. They do a fantastic job getting it ready for Spring and Summer outside entertaining.

We called the company before purchasing the deal, and were assured by the lady who answered the phone that a spring clean-up could in all likelihood be accomplished in the 6 man-hours of yard work we were intending to purchase. She said there would be an estimate for any additional things, like a tree removal. She scheduled an appt for someone to come by to do the estimate. Donnell came by and performed the estimate. He said he'd get it to us by the end of the day or at the very latest, by the end of the next day. At 4:15 the next day, we had still received nothing and were under a deadline. Donnell had not answered his phone or returned my husband's call. We left a few messages and finally got in touch with Donnell. He sent us the estimate and it was for over $1400 for the spring clean up work. This was a huge jump from the $200 we were assured would probably cover our spring clean up. It felt like a bait and switch and I called him back as a courtesy to let him know that we were shocked and very disappointed with our experience with the company so far. He said there was no way they could get anything done really in the 6 man hours, which surprised me, since I can mow the front and back lawn with a baby strapped to me, using a lawn mower without a motor and watching a two-year-old in an hour. A professional without these challenges should be able to do much more. Donnell referred me to his boss, Jamie, who backed up Donnell's estimate, and said I'd insulted him personally by expressing that it seemed like a bait and switch. He said Donnell had estimated that it would be about 36 hours of work, which I questioned, as I can do the work in much less time. He was adamant that he was born in this area, would die in this area and that we must be in the wrong. I reminded him that I was letting him know our experience as a courtesy, and to allow him to resolve it before I posted the rating and review reflecting our experience. He said he looked forward to posting a comment in response, that he was pretty good at that, saying that this goes both ways. This is the first time I've been threatened by a service provider at Angie's List. Altogether, this is the worst experience I've ever had with any service provider on Angie's List and feel a bit apprehensive about future "A-rated" companies, if this is what we can expect from J & J Landscape Management. All I can say is, be careful, before you do work with this company. They are misleading and the management threatening.

I never heard back from the company after Apr 2, to schedule an appointment to discuss the work I wanted. On April 15 I called them to request the appointment; I will be trying to reach them today to figure out whether they are going to do anything or whether I need my credit card company I was assured they would be able to do a "drive by" when I wasn't home and provide me with a detailed estimate. Followup Apr 26: I still had not received a written estimate until I called back on April 24; after that call I got an email with a written estimate just under $2000. My call was to request an appointment to explain in person the work I was interested in getting done. The written estimate was just under $2000, and included work I was not interested in having done. In the phone call where I was requesting an appointment, I was informed that they are very busy, so I concluded it would just be best to request a refund of my $200 - which I so requested, and was assured the credit would be processed that day. Later that day I received another voicemail requesting the opportunity to "discuss the project" before they processed the credit. I called them again today and left a voicemail requesting a refund of my $200. What I had intended was to get a clear idea of the work that could be done for $200 - a modest expenditure before I decided whether I wanted to work with the company on any more expensive projects. What I have concluded is that it's just too difficult to communicate effectively with a business who is so busy they find it difficult to schedule prompt appointments. I do realize that a $200 job is very small and perhaps not worth the company's time for an-inperson appointment for an estimate, but if so they should have made that clear before I purchased the Angie's List coupon. I have concluded they are too difficult to work with - and to be fair, I'm sure they hold the same opinion of me.
