Our hot water heater began leaking Saturday night. Moe came out on Sunday and removed it and replaced it with our new system. We didn't expect service on Sunday but it was very much appreciated. There was no muss, no fuss. Done quickly and efficiently. Thank you for a job well done!

I called this company at 8AM morning and the call was promptly answered. I explained that my pilot light was out and won't re- light. After getting details on the unit, he suggested that the issue is more than likely a dead thermocouple. My Rheem water heater is 18 years old so they don't normally replace the thermocouple since the unit is on its last leg, actually well past apparently. I completely understand this from a business perspective as if I had paid them to replace it and the whole unit dies the next week, I probably would not be real happy having spent the money to replace it. He did however provide valuable information on self replacement which I will attempt. While they did not get any business from me today, they will be my first call when it does die in the near future. Thanks for your help. Joe

I bought a house built in 1996 which had the original water heater in a second story attic. This is one of three duplex homes and my neighbors had a major leak with the same original water heater which became a very expensive problem for them. I decided to go ahead and replace mine before the same happened to me. In looking through Angie's List providers, it seemed that replacing it would cost about $1500-1800. I looked at several companies thoroughly and came across Water Heaters Only. The reviews were great both on price and service and that was what I experienced as well. Moe and another guy were prompt, efficient and very courteous. This was not an easy install because of the tricky attic location and the stairs, but they laughed it off and said that it had been a month of attics for them. I would highly recommend this company.

I arrived home late at night to discover the water heater leaking. I chose Water Heaters Only because since they do only water heaters, hopefully I would be able to get an appointment quickly compared to a conventional plumber. I was also impressed that they answer the telephones up until 11:30pm and it's not just an answering service. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the products and I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Moe arrived within the scheduled time frame. Since we had already determined that the unit needed replacing when scheduling the appointment; Moe already had a replacement on the truck. Moe was professional and friendly. All work was completed in an hour and a half.

Moe came out at about 5:00pm gave me an estimate and was ready to begin working as soon as my husband and I had agreed to the estimate. He worked quickly and cleanly and explained everything. He was doing and why he was doing it that way. He had the entire job finished in about an hour and 30 minutes. He was very professional and courteous. He gave us a "tutorial" on how to set the water heater etc. he was even kind enough to give us a tutorial on our Other water heater that someone else installed about a year ago. Suffice it to say Moe was fantastic. This was really same day service. I called at about noon requesting someone come and give me an estimate. Everyone that I spoke with at Water Heaters Only was great.

Moe did an excellent job. Had been out previously to relight pilot and was so professional we requested him again when water heater had to be replaced. He was on time and had heater installed in a timely manner. Must say, best service ever, from first phone call thru installation.

The old water heater - 37 years old, by the way - had started making funny noises in the early morning about 4:30am. I looked on Angie's List for a company that handled water heaters in my area and phoned Water Heaters Only, Inc. and they set up an appointment for me at that time. They called me twice during the morning, to tell me the time of the appointment and then the service provider called to tell me that he was on his way.

very friendly gentlemen, brought plenty of blankets and knew exactly what to do. not the fastest of workers, but they didn't make a mistake or drip a drop of rusty water on our white carpets on the 2nd floor or going down the curvy stairwell. i was very impressed. it was over 100 degrees in the attic and they worked tirelessly, never requesting water, although they did accept the bottles of water when the job was done. would hire this company again for my other two water heaters. maybe in cooler weather for the sake of the workers.

It went great. After dealing with the nightmare of home warranty (Allied Home Warranty - STAY AWAY!), I searched Angie's List and found Water Heaters Only, Inc. I spoke with Tom and he asked me a few questions and gave me a quote for 1000, over the phone. It took about 5 minutes. Tom was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. We also decided that I'd need a metal drain pan so that the install passes inspection. Best of all, Tom was able to get a crew out the next day (today), early in the morning to give me an official estimate and do the install if I wanted. No charge for coming out and giving an estimate. I was phoned 2 times to let me know the precise time the workers would arrive. Once they arrived, Moe (the lead guy) took a look at the hot water heater, wrote me up a quote and got on with the install. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they could fit a larger capacity water heater without any extra work, so I opted for that. Install probably took about 2 hours. The workers put down drop cloth so nothing go on the floors, removed the old water heater and installed the new. It was simple, and the workers were friendly.

May be a national-recognized company, but they contract out work. Unfortunately, we got an unprofessional crew. Plumber did not pull permit for city inspection and had to come back and do additional work for work in order for the installation to pass city code. Plumber said city inspector would be out the following Thursday. This never happened. We had to make arrangements for city inspection.

Water heater broke down on a Friday night, and I immediately called their 800 number and got a quote. The quoted price was very reasonable, so I scheduled the replacement for the very next day. I was given a 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm window for arrival, and Moe and his assistant arrived right at 1:00 pm...after calling 15 minutes in advance. They got right to work; had the old water heater removed in no time, and the new one installed. The whole process, start to finish, was under 4 hours. As other have mentioned, Moe stayed around for 15 minutes after the new water heater was started up to check for any leaks. Overall this was a great experience....excellent response time for a quote, on time arrival of the service crew, and a great price. I will definetly recommend them to my family and friends.

I called Water Heaters Only, Inc. to get a quote and the gentleman took his time and gave me $ range for what we needed. We went ahead and decided to use their service based on price and the quality product they offer. They came out and replaced 2 water heaters. They were very professional and finished in a timely manner. They were very careful not to damage our walls and carpet when removing old equipment. I would highly recommend their services.

Very fast service. Replacement completed in less than 3 hours. Very careful to check for no leaks on the new system. Stayed an extra 15 minutes to ensure there were no problems and I was totally satisfied. Would certainly use this company again.

They were awesome. They came out on a Sunday morning and replaced the water heater that had died the day before. It was all done very quickly. They showed up at 11 and at about 2 o'clock, I got hot water. They are available 24/7/365. They do not up-charge for weekends or emergencies and they came immediately when I called them. Their price was extremely reasonable too.

The job was a little tricky;our water heaters are located in the attic over our garage, and the replacement process was not easy. However, they did a great job in a timely manner.

My water heater stopped working. I called the day I discovered this. I was given a price over the phone, based on providing the type and serial number of my water heater. I was quoted $250 if it could be repaired and $1300-$1500 if it had to be replaced. I was told that someone could come out the next day in the morning. They did. It was repairable (they didn't try to sell me on putting in a new one), it was repaired, and I paid by check for $25 less than what I was quoted. As the repairman said, I have a new hot water heater with an old tank, since everything but the tank was replaced. I am used to a lot of drama when something breaks down. This was thankfully drama free and almost painless.

The technician (Moe) arrived on time and completed the installation of a new water heater in about 2 hours. Everything went according to how I expected it should with no surprises.

Even though my hot water heater was over 10 years old, the tech. found that the problem was not a bad water heater but the WAG valve had malfunctioned and was prohibiting water to exit the water heater. It did take over an hour to find the problem but it was diagnosed without having to replace the hot water heater. I was appreciative that the true problem was discovered and fixed.

I chose this company because of the reviews from other members. I did have two other companies give me estimates and they were much higher - $1500.00 and 1800.00. The company came out and replaced the water heater quickly and efficiently.
