We couldn't be happier, unless it were free! It wasn't, of course, but neither could we have expected that. Honestly, we could have saved a few bucks if we'd been willing to wait TWO WEEKS for installation. One cold water shower was enough for me, thanks! The installer showed up as promised, called beforehand, was courteous and friendly, promptly installed the new device, and left us with a clean environment and full service. What more could we ask for? THANK YOU Water Heaters Only, Inc.!

Saturday morning we realized that we did not have any hot water. I thought that the pilot light of the gas water heater had extinguished. The heater is in the attic and since we were afraid of any gas leaks, we called Atmos. Atmos promptly came and told us that there was a leak and we needed a new water heater. I checked on Angie's List, selected this company, based on the excellent reviews. Called them, they asked me a few questions to determine what size and type of heater we needed. The representative gave us an estimate and the time. Two installers came promptly on time (at 2 p.m.), asked for our approval and finished the job. By 5 p.m. we had hot water, we were delighted with the excellent service.

Moe did our installation and he was very helpful in explaining everything and why he could not do a few things (we had a very small space to work with) and explained how everything worked. The price was absolutely fantastic and they warranty their work. The owner was very nice to talk to on the phone and I love great customer service. They were a third of what the other plumbing companies on Angie's List wanted to charge...a third! Great experience all the way around and I would not hesitate to use them again (but hopefully I won't have to for many years to come).

He was professional. He was on time. He did a great job. Charged us a reasonable fee. (I checked around before he arrived) Cleaned up before he left. Explained the warranty. Left his number in case we had any issues. All appreciated b/c the unit had pretty much exploded at the bottom. Water was everywhere very fast! Before he arrived the operator instructed us on how to turn everything off safely.

I must admit I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience, from the first phone conversations to the actual replacement. I was expecting a call first on the day of the appointment, but unfortunately there was a slight mix-up with my phone number on their paperwork. When they arrived at my house they immediately apologized for the lack of a call first and explained that the number they called told them they weren't supposed to have a replacement that day. Instead of simply moving on to the next job they wanted to stop by the address to confirm the wrong number and I am very grateful for that as I otherwise I am sure it would have been at least another day until the situation was figured out. They arrived at the beginning of the original 1pm to 4pm window I was given so even though it was a small surprise, it was not unexpected. They were extremely polite and helpful throughout the installation detailing exactly what they were doing, why and how. All in all they finished the entire installation in under 1.5 hours and left my attic as clean as it was when they arrived. I am completely happy with the new water heater and the service provided and I would gladly use them again, as well as recommend them to friends and family.

I purchased a deal for $150 for $300 toward the water heaters. I was contacted promptly and scheduled quickly. Two employees arrived with the new heaters to be installed in the attic. They drained and removed the old heaters and carried the two 140 lb. water heaters up to the second floor and then up the attic stairs into the attic. The original flex lines were good but they recommended replacing the gate valves that had become corroded. The job was difficult logistically but was done professionally with great care taken to protect flooring and clean up when the job was done. Extremely pleased with the service and price.

The person they sent out immediately started our broken heater and was about to leave, without charge, when the heater pilot went out again. After a more thorough inspection he determined that our heater had reached it's life limit and needed to be replaced. After telling us our options we decided to get a tanked heater (gas) and he was able to replace it 30 minutes after it finished draining. The two gentlemen were not crisp professionals but rather had the appearance and demeanor of a small business owners with a few decades of experience. They were friendly, informative, and the quality of their work was top notch. I definitely recommend them if you need a water heater replaced.

Everything went well. I think I spent 150$ off of water heater replacement worth 300$. And I knew the water heater replacement was going to be obviously more than that but I did get the 300$ off. The total purchase was 729$. They got it done the way they said they were going to and didn't have any problems.

I called to ask about service for our installed water heater, and the gentleman who took my call was very knowledgeable about the heater we had. He explained my options to me and told me someone could be out that day. I opted for a later date, and the service person came right as scheduled. He was pleasant, professional and performed the work quickly and cleanly. I had complete confidence in the company from the initial contact to completion of the job, and we are very pleased the water heater they carry is made in the U.S.A.

The service was unbelievable. I really liked this company! I talked to the manager, Tom, when I first called and he informed me that Angie’s List had a deal. I feel that this company is very honest and has very reasonable pricing. The technician that came out to do the work also gave me suggestions on the service, which I appreciated.

The service worked very well. They did a very good job. They came out two days after I purchased the Big Deal. The workers worked very clean. I think the price was pretty much in the middle. I do not think they were the cheapest and they were not the most expensive. What they performed was what I expected. They did a very good job for what I had to pay for. I would use them again.

Removed the old Water heater from Second floor and as the stairs had carpet, laid a few set of additional clothing so that my carpet does not get damaged.... explained what he was doing and how to troubleshoot if any issues and what to look for when in trouble... also suggested that we get inspected and he also got us scheduled for the same. Overall it was a perfect experience without any issues. Thank you for your service.

The team showed up at approximately 11:45 am after calling ahead (within the time range specified). He and I looked at the hot water heater in the attic, and he agreed that the 10-year-old unit had a leak and needed replacement. He asked me at that point if I wanted a permit, which was required by the City of Flower Mound, or if the replacement should be performed without a permit. I was concerned immediately at that being an option. The difference being that if the work was done under permit, it would cost more, and couldn't be done until the next day, since they needed time to pull the permit. He provided an estimate in writing with a permit fee once I said I wanted a permit, but did not specify the replacement heater manufacturer and model they intended to install. I looked up the Flower Mound permit requirements on the internet to be sure I was working with good information, and they are clear and explicit. I called the office to ask what manufacturer and model heater they planned to install, which they identified for me and appeared to be a good quality option with their markup being approximately 20% over standard supply house price based on an internet search. However, when I asked about when they could do the install with a permit, I was told they didn't like to do installs in my city because of the more rigorous code - the person on the phone (Paul) told me that the installer had to "wait all day" for the inspector. When I cited the $100 fee on the quote, he said that only covered the permit fee with the city. I asked directly if they would perform the installation with a permit. Paul put me on hold to check, and came back and said they would only do the install if I did not have a city permit. I think this is very concerning as a homeowner. Expecting homeowners to pay for services in a city that requires a permit by ordinance without a permit is not the kind of company that should have a good rating on Angie's List. It may be as simple as this vendor updating their service area to say "Denton County excluding Flower Mound" or when someone calls from this town, simply saying they don't service the area. I don't have a concern that don't pass inspection in other areas, but to have unpermitted work performed on a house can cause issues when trying to sell the home or with regard to insurance.

He came the very same day I called. Brought the part and fixed it. Discussed any future replacement because of the age of my water heater. I wish everyone were like this company.

Very impressed with Water Heaters Only. I had a 14 year old water heater that would not keep it's pilot light ignited. Initially called for a repair, but they educated me on the age of the unit and that they would recommend replacing it rather than fixing a part for a couple of hundred bucks only to have me have to replace it in a year or two. It was not a hard sales pitch and I took a couple of days to think it over without any pressure from them. In the end, I decided to replace the unit. They came out the same afternoon that I called with my decision and were right on time, professional, and got the whole job done from start to finish in about 90 minutes. It is rare in cases like this that I feel like I got a good price and wasn't nickled and dimed to death on little labor add-ons. Water Heaters Only did exactly what they said they would do, stayed on their quoted price and did very neat work. When my second water heater in the house needs replacing as well (also 14 years old), I'll certainly be back to this vendor. Thank you. Highly recommended

Moe and Scott arrived within the quoted time frame and they were done well within the stated time it would take to complete the work. They were both friendly and extremely competent. They even cleaned up some small messes that had been left in their path. I will absolutely recommend this company to others. I am very pleased with their service.
