We had a patio cover installed years ago and they put the beams on top of the deck(yikes) so we were having some issues. John and his crew lead by Carlos came and replaced the beams properly and replaced the support to the deck. We had great communication, they arrived on time and cleaned up everyday. The pricing was fare. I will use Decks on the Water again.

We had an excellent experience with John and company. We had a 30-year old deck in serious need of repair. John and I agreed on an approach and he and his crew followed it quickly and efficiently. What I especially liked was that John listened carefully to what we wanted, and was very straightforward about what he thought did and, importantly, did not need to be done. We are very happy with the outcome and are discussing a second job with him. Highly recommended.

I had a breach in my bulkhead where soil erosion was creating a hole. Multiple fill attempts didn't resolve the problem. I received estimates from 2 companies for the repair. I felt John Debrow, owner of Decks On The Water, gave me the better explanation and price to fix the problem. The crew, led by Carlos, did an excellent job and stayed within budget to complete the task. I am completely satisfied and recommend their services.

Decks on the Water are excellent. True professionals. Theyâ re punctual, quality detailed, extremely hard working and very easy to work with. Theyâ ve repaired my Trex decking, are building a large handrail run and weâ re talking about dredging. I wish that Iâ d found them years ago when I needed to replace my very ancient dock. Thorough professionals and Iâ m impressed.

John & Carlos work hard to meet customer need. Excellent craftsmanship. They worked on our backyard deck and re-staining concrete on our patio. When Carlos began to apply the stain - it did not look good - he insisted on taking it back and finding the right stain for the project.

We had a great experience with John and his crew. Our dock, which was about 20 years old, was in need of complete repair, including the canopies for the boat shed. Their bid was the best overall value, and John continued to help keep any additional add-on costs very low. I also appreciated that he would check at each stage to make sure he know how I wanted things built or re-built. I'm very pleased and would be glad to recommend him to anyone.

Did quality work

John and his crew did a great job rebuilding and waterproofing our second floor porch on Lake Conroe. The work was done in a timely manner and the crew was courteous and professional. Carlos was an excellent foreman and made sure that the job was done correctly.

John was very knowledgeable, honest and gave me advice on future projects. I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of work done.

The original bid involved removal of bricks and remortaring. However, I stepped out to check on the project and the crew thought they were just remortaring which would have resulted in a very inferior appearance. The "misunderstanding" the was corrected and the workmanship exceeded my expectations. Excellent, professional work crew but make sure to verify job expectations with owner the day work begins.
