Description of Work: Just move into home which had irrigation repair work completed prior to purchase. It quickly became evident there were multiple issues hat were not addressed. We con acted Fischer to come out for an assessment and to address 1 broken and 1 buried head. They discovered leaks in 8 heads, reprogrammed our system which had 4 different watering schedules they were able to resolve and redirected all our heads to maximize system efficiency. We were very pleased with their service and will use them again.

Description of Work: I had the service performed as defined by Angie's List and this was accomplished satisfactorily. However, when I asked them to provide an estimate to perform additional work such as replacing sprinkler heads the hourly rate was outrageously high ($150.00) an hour. I called another contractor that was local to the Friendswood area and was satisfied with their estimate.

Description of Work: Put irrigation system in entire yard, Can not comment on a comparable price since Scott Fischer was the only contractor we obtained a price from. The location and style of each sprinkler head was carefully designed to cover the grass and large irregular shape landscaping features. Project took 4 days for 80+ heads.

 + -1 moreI was on vacation when I was notified that water was leaking in my yard and running to the street. I called friends to turn off the water, and on July 11 I called this company to come out and check out the problem, since I've had services performed by them on multiple occasions in the past. The receptionist told me I would be called back by the owner; two days later I was called by a receptionist who informed me that the earliest they could respond was July 23. I went to Angie's List to find an alternate contractor, who responded promptly and fixed the problem on July 15. The response I received is unfortunately very typical of my experience with Fischer Irrigation: They do exceptional work, but I think they are so heavily booked that they can't respond in a more timely manner, especially at this time of the year. Based on my previous history with this company, I suspect that they are somewhat selective about what jobs to address first instead of making their exisitng customer base a priority. I don't necessarily fault them for that, but you need to allow for it when you work with them. To be fair, they know their business and when they do finally come to do a job, they do excellent work. However, for me they just don't quite fit the bill for what I want, which is good service in a timely manner.
