Fischer Irrigation

Unfortunately, I was not able to use the deal because the company doesn't service my area. However, the lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and apologetic. She explained why they don't service my area. I didn't have any issues with the customer service at all!

Our sprinkler system was leaking and we did not know where the leak was coming from or what was causing the leak. I signed up to Angie's list so I can find someone to repair the system since we are new to this area. I found a coupon on Angie's list from Fisher and scheduled an appointment. The technicians called me on the day when work was to be performed, even though I was told they would call the day before, oh well... They looked at the system and found what the problem was. The technician did a great job explaining to us what the problem was and also showing us how in future we can tell we have a problem. Fixed the problem, performed a test to make sure everything was good. Took not more than 2hrs.

When I called to schedule the appointment they told me that they don't service my area. They were very nice and apologetic. I am in the process of getting a refund through Angie's List.

I made an appointment in mid July for Scott to come by in the evening and give me an estimate on installing a sprinkler system in my front and back yard. He arrived promptly at our scheduled time in the evening as I do not get home from work until late. He walked the area, took measurements and sat to discuss what he recommended for the job. He spent about an hour discussing various options and answering all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable in lawn irrigation and he helped me to better understand what I needed to get full coverage of my bushes, trees and plants. He followed up with a written proposal that was very competitive with another estimate I had received, and it listed all of the materials he would be using on the job. Once I contacted the office to accept the proposal, Scott went to city hall and obtained the necessary permits immediately so I could get the work completed before the end of the month. The crew showed up at the scheduled time and completed the work in 2 1/2 days as estimated by Scott. They did a great job in installing all of the heads and valves, minimizing the damage to the lawn and cleaning up after each day. Upon completion of the installation, Scott set another appointment to meet me in the evening after work and he went over all of the functions on the controller. We then walked the system in test mode to inspect all of the 84 heads that were installed. He discussed the warranty and provided me with all of the paper work including a site map showing the location of every head and valve in the system. I found Scott to be very knowledgeable and helpful before and after the job with a great crew working for him. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any irrigation project as I am confident that he will be do a professional job and stand behind his work should anything need adjustment or repair. It was a very positive experience and I know my lawn and landscaping will survive the hot Houston summers in the years ahead.

The workers were good and punctual. The work was completed in 3 days as planned. They came back to make adjustments that were needed. They give a 3-year warranty which is excellent. A minor issue came up when we had drainage problems on one side of the house. We are still dealing with that. Fischer seems to have excellent follow-up after the installation.

The owner of Fischer Irrigation, Scott Fischer, was very informative and the work was very well done. He explained everything very carefully. He's available to come back if there's problems. He came around and talked about what the work to be done was. He laid out specifically what he would do. He's knowledgeable about what he's doing. His crew was in and they did the work early and pretty timely. He set a date to come in and they came in and then they did the work. It was all done very well. The system works good. I don't know the price of sprinkler systems or those kinds of things because I just basically looked on Angie's List to get a good rating. That was my primary goal. I feel that for what they put in and the capabilities and labor, I feel the price was fair.

I've used Fischer Irrigation before (pre-Angie's List) and have always been pleased with their service. I bought one of those deals where I could get a system service for a discount and the crew came out to test my system. I had a few sprinkler heads that were not operating properly and they team replaced those, retested the system, and everything is working fine. Very professional team. Great service!

Great. I had to reschedule quite a few times and they were very nice about it.

I was unable to use the deal due to me being outside of the company's service area. They were polite and professional with me even though they could not perform the service.

They were prompt and the installation so far (1 year) has held. We had to make one service call, and they came and fixed it.

The techs came when they were scheduled and immediately got to work. There were a number of bad sprinkler heads, several misaligned heads and one large leak. They replaced the bad heads, realigned the heads (one required digging and moving), and repaired the leak. One of the heads had broken off of the main line and was leaking a HUGE amount of water underground. They quickly found the leak and repaired it. I would use them again without a second thought.

When I called to schedule the appointment, it was a few weeks before they had an available appointment. The team of two guys showed up a bit later than expected as another job had run longer than expected. The team took a fair amount of time to do everything and troubleshoot/fix the plumbing issue on a relatively small yard with just 6 sprinkler zones (not sure if it was because it was the end of the day and the sun was going down or if it was just normal). I will say that I felt that the team was thorough and made sure everything was as it should be by the end of the visit.

They did some more work for me other than the Big Deal coupon. They were very good. They were on time and fixed the problem. Their price was good and fair.

Scott came out and was very thorough in walking our property to determine what our needs were. He explained everything thoroughly including the plans and supplies/materials that he would use. His pricing was quite competitive to other quotes that we received.

They ran all the zones and adjusted and replaced nozzles as required. They flagged and corrected non vertical sprinkler heads at very nominal cost. They also recommended replacing one sprinkler head with a rotor head. The extra cost to add rotor and replace nozzles was very nominal. The only reason i am giving B in punctuality is because they did not show up one time due to an emergency but did not notify me.

They called to set appointment on next business day after purchasing special deal on Angies' List. The soonest appointment avaialble was in two weeks. On the morning of the appointment, they called to tell me they were having trouble with their truck and would be late for the appointment. I appreciated them letting me know as opposed to have me waiting and wondering. They showed up about an hour later and got right to work. They were done in an hour. Explained the work performed, asked if I knew how to operate system and things I would need to reprogram. I'm very satisified as to the work done, reasonable price and would use again.

The lady on the phone was polite and professional they showed up the next day. The man repaired a broken pipe and then checked the rest of the system to make sure all the sprinklers were spraying correctly straightened and repaired what was needed. I have Fischer Irrigation in my phone now. I'll be sure to call them next time something comes up.

This company never bothered to even call me back, although I contacted them twice. I understand that companies are busy, but at least contact the prospective client and tell them you're really busy and that you can get to them at X date in the future. Based on my interaction, they get an F.

.I was concerned at first because I paid the $59 fee online and when I called to make the appointment, I was told that Fischer Irrigation did NOT know anything about the ad on Angie's list. I read the ad to them over the phone. This is no reflection on their repairmen, however, it did indicate there wasn't very good communication between Angie's List and the company. When the repairmen did arrive, they immediately noticed my system was NOT installed properly and could not service it until the required regulator was installed. But they did investigate my system thoroughly and educated me on needed parts. They were courteous and very helpful and patient . I will definitely use them again.

We solicited bids from 4 companies and chose Scott Fischer due to his experience, excellent reputation, specialization in irrigation systems and fair price. He designed a unique system to deal with specific challenges we have on our property and offered suggestions to save us money. He was able to start ahead of his orginal date and his final price came in slightly under his estimate. Scott and his team were very professional and they somehow managed to install the system without damaging our lawn or flower beds and finished the project right on schedule. I cant say enough good things about everyone at Fischer Irrigation. I highly recommend them.

Saw them install an entire sprinkler system @ the neighbors house. After they finished you couldn't tell they'd dug any trenches (i.e., the sod was still intact.) I had a complete system installed right before the drought of 2011 - it saved my lawn. I have a circular driveway and was afraid they would have to break through the concrete to place some sprinkler heads. They were able to snake/route all the lines under the concrete with no damage. Also as with the neighbors - you couldn't tell the work had been done (especially by the sod.) Specifically, they installed a Hunter rain sensor solar sync that shuts off the sprinklers if rain is detected, and adjusts the watering time based on the UV index. This is installed into a Hunter C controller, which can be programmed for any numerous days, times, etc. This was with eight zones of sprinklers - some rotors, spray heads, etc. Whole process took about 3 days. Easy company to work with - and a 2 year no hassle warranty. I've only had to call once, and they made the repair with no charge, the same day. I highly recommend this company for installation of new sprinkler systems.
