The job took 3 days and we had to stay out of the house so the stain could set properly. The smell of the varnish and stain lingers for a few weeks and it wasn't favorable being out of the house 3 nights with 2 children under 3 years old but we would do it all over in a heartbeat to get these beautiful floors. Very happy customer!

He's great. He starts early (7:30 - 8 am), gets to work and never stops all day! He cleans up before he leaves every day to keep things neat til he gets back. He suggested some improvements we never thought of and took care of them for no extra cost: removed strip/bumps/moulding between wood and tile floors and made floors look smoother, more continuous and much better. He does a great job and makes it look easy. We plan to bring him back to sand and varnish 2 more rooms with wood floors.

We found Adore Hardwood Floors on Angie's List and read the good reviews. We called Terry Davis, the owner and he came to our house within 3 hours to give us an estimate of the cost of installing engineered hardwood floors in our kitchen. We ordered our wood from Home Depot. As soon as it arrived, we called Terry to install the flooring. He began installation within a day or so and completed the job in three days. We were very pleased with the quality of his work. We were also pleased that he cleaned up after he completed the job. We would use him again. Thank you Terry Davis and Angie's List. I called Adore for an estimate. That same day, after another job, Mr. Davis came by and examined the flooring and gave an estimate. We had enough material from the original installation. He agreed to come the following week to do the work. He said that he would call to alert me to his plan. He did not ask for money up front, gave me his card and left. The following week, as predicted, Mr Davis called and arranged an appointment for the following day. He arrived on time with his tools and his energy. It took two hours to remove the damaged flooring plus sanding and restraining a small 2 inch place. He proceeded to replace the flooring, clean everything perfectly, inside and out where he had cut flooring. Before 3 hours had passed, he had made my floor look original and shining new. As Mr. Davis left, I told him that he was a craftsman who came on time, did what he promised, charged what he estimated, cleaned up and left the customer smiling.

He did a really good job and I recommended him to the lady who sells hardwood loors at sears. My floor looks beautiful. He was very professional and he was flexible with our schedule. We had to be out of the house with him doing the sanding and all that and my sons were in college so he worked with them and our schedule. We were very pleased. The floor looks like brand new floors and our people that saw the floors thought we got new floors. His price was very reasonable and so we did our pantry and stairs and he did a good job. We have no complaints at all. He said we would need to do some light buffing and we will use him to do that.

The owner Terry came out quickly and gave me an estimate for the job. He sent me an estimate in a timely manner and then we scheduled the work. He showed up on time and got right to work. He was in my home for a week. He did an OUTSTANDING job on my floor. The work he did turned out beautiful. Since I wanted a tile inlay it was difficult finding a someone who did both wood and tile and was willing to do the job. Terry saw my vision and made it come to life. I could not be more pleased with it.

Terry came out and within a few days sent me a quote for the work. It was very reasonable compared to other companies I had talked to. We scheduled a date for him to begin working. Three days before the scheduled date I called Terry to see if we could delay the start by one day. He was very flexible and worked with us. He finished the floor in the time that he had quoted and they looked absolutely beautiful. We were very pleased as he gave us the exact look we were wanting. Even our neighbors thought that we had installed new floors. I have since recommended Terry to two different people.

We sent Terry @ Adore Floors an email through his website. All of our contact information is automatically attached to our email. He responded two days later by email. We asked about having some work done on our wood floors, and responded by email that he could come out on Saturday. We responded that this was great. He asked for our address, and we emailed it back. We emailed him again on Friday and asked if he could come at 9 AM, and he said yes. We moved furniture, cleaned up, picked everything up from the floors (dog bowls, magazine racks, shoes, small tables, rugs, etc.), put dogs in their crates, swept, made sure my job knew I would be coming in late, and waited. He emailed at 8:57 AM (our appt. was for 9 AM) saying "I need your phone number I can't make it at 9 but I can still come it will be closer till about 11 1130" My husband wrote back and said " I'm sorry, I have to return to work. I said I would be late coming in today, to meet with you. Can you come at 2?" No response from Terry. Then at 6 PM, he writes saying: "What is your phone #. Last time."!!! Well, in our book, that is aggressive, rude and unprofessional, and we let him know that he didn't even respond about coming at 2 PM. His defense was " that because i am working on a job and not in front of a desk your weird !!!!!!" Well, needless to say, we do not do business with someone as rude and unprofessional as this.

We have used several hardwood floor re-finishers over the years in several homes. This was the second job that Terry Davis completed in our home and, compared to the other re-finishers, we will never again use anybody else but Terry. He promptly responded to our request for a quote and came at the agreed-upon time and day. He supervised the sanding and personally filled in every open space in the floor with matching putty, sanding again. What's more, he has a sanding machine that catches the sand so it does not fly all over the room. He personally and carefully stained the floor, feathering the stain to exactly match the hall way leading to the floor he was refinishing. He applied two different coats of "restaurant-grade" polyurethane, coming back each day to make sure the previous coat was dry. Afterwords, he made sure that his assistant power vacuumed every bit of dust (which was minimal) and polished our waxed living room floor where he had to carry his equipment (no charge). Finally, at my request, he spot sanded and re-coated a dark spot on our kitchen wood floor, also at no charge. Our floors look beautiful. Terry Davis does a very professional job and takes pride in his work.
