Jerod the electrician was very professional, courteous, and efficient. We specially love his big curly afro. Definitely brought back the good old 80's days. Will use him again for immediate future project again.

Brandon did a very nice job. He arrived a few minutes early to the appointment, got to work, installed the switches fairly quickly and cleaned up afterward. The whole experience was great. Office people were always there to answer the phone, responsive and followed up.

I purchased an Angies List Deal - 2 hours of an electrician's time for $150. This is work that I could have done myself but it would have taken me more time. Plus, I had my regular electrician give me a quote and it was $400 for this work. I decided to give Veteran Electric a try because of the great reviews on Angies List. I was not disappointed. I was contacted by VE to set up my appointment very soon after the purchase. The scheduler was very nice and professional. Jerod called me to let me know that he was on his way - right at the scheduled time. He was friendly and efficient yet careful when he was doing the work He did all that I needed him to do in a very reasonable time so I was able to get this project completed over my lunch hour. Outstanding service and respectful of my time - this was a great experience.

Since he has replaced my outside fixture I have had to replace the bulbs two to three times a week. I have left him a voicemail to get this issue resolved, and he hasn't responded to me.

Our technician, Jerod, called to say he was on his way, arrived 9:45. I really appreciate this, as the arrival window was 10 am to noon. He completed all tasks quickly and efficiently. He was friendly and professional. We will definitely call this company again and recommend!

The existing home wiring was incorrect for installation of the NEST some alarms. Therefor, due to the difficulty of installing one as wired, we decided to install it as battery operated. The other one we had the electrician wire using proper voltage. Both seem to be working and are a big improvement over the old ones.

I bought a special deal, 2 hours of electrical work for $150 or 2 men for 1 hour. Two men arrived on time and I asked them to do four things for me. One person replaced a light fixture in my half bathroom while the other person replaced a security light. After completing those jobs, they fixed an outdoor light and the light in my garage door opener. Those four jobs took less than an hour, so they offered to check my breaker box. I would definitely recommend them.

This was the 3rd time I have had Veteran Electric out -- they are very thorough and fast! The first time was to replace a GFI outlet that failed and install a house surge protector. I then needed a bath vent replaced which was done in the blink of an eye (i had sadly spent way too much time watching you tube videos to attempt to do it on my own, then fail) Lastly they came out and properly grounded the house and replaced my electrical panel -- they were done in just a few hours and now I am up to code and have room to add lights in the house at a later date!

All went well with the work performed and I would definitely use the company again. Jerod was friendly & verified all was working.

The job went very well! The Tech name Jerod was courteous and friendly. Called before he appeared on time. Took care not to create or leave a mess after work finished. Very please with this contractor service. Would ask the company to send Jerod for my next job request.

Technician performed all of the work in a timely and efficient manner. He made some suggestions on future work and was a very pleasant young man.

Jerad was wonderful. Very professional, knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He took time to explain what he was going to do the additional cost for materials. Jerad worked non stop from the time he walked in the front door. He was early and called before he came to make sure that was convenient for me. I would highly recommend this company to everyone who needs electrical work done.

He did some of the work - moving the outlet was easy and accomplished, however he didn't have the proper materials for the additional garage work (he wasn't told what parts he needed by his scheduler apparently) and the undercounter lights never got fixed...still aren't after they came a second time. I needed a new ballast and he told me what to purchase. I purchased it, it didn't work when another guy came back the second time. The ballast is being ordered (2 weeks to get it) and it's going to cost about $250 for two under counter lights. I should just get new lights at this point. Needless to say, not thrilled with service.

Excellent work and very punctual! I plan on calling for future work when we get ready. Trust me people never try to save money by letting a friend do the work... go to the pros! Thank you for all your help!!!

After a rocky start as described in my previous review, Veteran's Electric followed up and we were able to confirm the appointment. Jared showed up promptly, reviewed the work to be performed, and started right away. He was clear in explaining everything to be completed. The fans are working great! Jared even cleaned and vacuumed up the mess! Looking forward to his return to complete the remaining work on Friday. We will call Veteran's again when we need additional electrical work performed on our home.

Repair seemed made first trip but problems re-surfaced, so technician returned.

No issues. On time, quickly done, easy to deal with.

The service turned out okay. They ended up charging me another $500 and something in addition to the $150 Big Deal. The work was good. I thought it was a little high. It was the first time I had ever used the service so I was not sure totally what to expect, but I did not know it was going to take that long or that much extra to do the lighting. They were prompt in coming out and everything else. If I needed to, I would probably use them again.

This was my second experience with Veteran and it went off as seamless as the first time I had work done. They are very thorough in their estimates and advised of any changes or modifications that were needed. I will continue to use Veteran as they are always very professional and provide fair and honest quotes/work.

The supervisor, Vince Anderson, has never come out. Multiple e-mails through the Angie's List message capability went unanswered. Finally, a message was received from Mr. Anderson below on January 13, 2016: We are sorry we haven?t responded. We have been trying to figure out when we can get out there to meet with whoever would be the responsible party. Ana had mentioned this to me and she should have reached out to you and I will figure out why she did not. We are located in Spring, TX so Galveston is not always something we can do and she should have let you know that we are not always available to go to Galveston. I will have her call you tomorrow to set something up if you are still interested in using us. Once again, I am very sorry and hope that we can correct our failure. Thank you Vince I then received a call from Ana in his office last Friday (January 15, 2016) who stated that it is really difficult to make service calls in Galveston since they are located in Spring, TX so really didn't know what to tell me. I conceded I would have to find another company that was TRULY servicing the Galveston market and not just advertising they did like Veteran Electric.

Can't say anything but how great the service was from Veteran Electric. The service technician, Jerod Summons, worked quickly and got the job done and did great work in doing so. I will definitely call them back for more work in the future.

I emailed Sp to call me at home concerning services that I had paid for. Sp stated he didn't received it. I ended up calling the Sp myself. I was quoted an outrageous price. It was over 300 dollars over the price I had already paid. I believe this is a rip off.
