Wow!! Amazing staff and service from Modern Media on my home theater installation. Todd and his team go above an beyond with their quality of work and customer satisfaction. If you have found Todd and Modern Media, then look nowhere else for your A/V needs. I was looking for a complete solution for my home theater including installation, equipment and furniture in a budget. Todd had a complete package solution for my space and my needs that was truly amazing and that came as a pleasant surprise. Todd personally came to our home and educated me on various home theater setup options, quality of screens, receivers, speakers, projectors, accessories like remote, dimmer lights and home theater furniture and options with each of these equipments. There was no pressure on anything and did not try to sell anything that was too much for my space and my needs. Todd have some seriously nice stuff for the home theater solution and he enjoys sharing his knowledge and excitement with the customer. Todd even kindly offered to show his setup at his home for getting an experience of the actual equipment quality. Everything was on time and as discussed. The techs, Mike and Nick were great. They arrived on time as scheduled, did truly splendid quality work in the time that was planned. Todd and the staff also spent time with me educating on the operation of the home theater. Highly Professional. Todd and his staff made things work for me in the home theater in a way that is so easy for me and my wife to navigate every equipment (receiver, projector, blu ray player, cable, PC, streaming etc) seamlessly with the push of a button from a high quality single remote. At the end of the work, when Modern Media had to use less HDMI cable length than the original quote, Todd revised the final bill to be less than the original estimate...that was super modest! Overall, I couldn't be happier with the experience. Super Service, Honorable team and a Fantastic Experiece for me!!. From my first phone call to Todd to setup the initial consultation, to our design and budget conversations, every step was executed meticulously and with such professionalism I could not have asked for more. Truly a fun experience from start to finish and now we have the most amazing media room to enjoy as a family.

The entire process went as expected. The owner worked with me through the installation design and explained the technical details thoroughly. His recommendations included the basic requirements to complete the install along with options to upgrade without an unwelcomed sales pitch to add costs. The install team arrived on time and completed with work in a cleanly manner which included removal of the packaging. They walked me through the operation on the system. There was a technical software issue with the DirecTV box. They researched the issue online and resolved it prior to leaving. Overall, I could not have been happier with my experience and would not hesitate to use Modern Media.

The job was perfect from the quote to the actual installation! Todd Forgan is a professional and knows his products and designed our room within budget. His installers were professional and left the room cleaner than when they started and matched paint, repaired all drywall as part of the install and left us with a professional movie theater in our home sweet home!!!

Please, please, please save all of the other research on Angie's List, google, and yahoo and go with Modern Media if you are looking for any Televisoin, audio, or media room work. Todd is the absolute professional and fits your wants with your budget. On top of that, he gives you suggestions as if it were his own media room after you have decided on the equipment you want. We initially utilized his company for a tv mount over the fireplace concealing all of the wires. Then he came over to give a consult on our media room to install a projector, screen, and sound system. Absolutely PERFECT in every way. From the quality of workmanship of his team Mike and Nick perform, to how they clean up and educate you on the equipment. Todd makes sure that every project is done to his standards which once you meet him, you will know are quite high. I can't recommend him and his team enough.

These guys are very nice, personable and easy to work with. They worked with our schedule and they actually came to the house twice. The first time, they installed the TV, but the new HDMI cables would have to be rewired, so they scheduled the 2nd trip. But we were still able to watch and enjoy the TV between the two appointments. The 2nd time they came out, they finished the install-hooked up wiring, surround sound. Hung the TV, again. It's a 60 inch, about 50lbs, so we wanted to have professionals hang and install it to ensure it was done correctly and safely. They did a great job. But, we really appreciated their professional and friendly manner. Thank you!!

Todd was able to see me within a day of my calling! Our projector was on it's last leg and our screen was ruined. He went over all of our options and went out of his way to find us the most affordable options. Before he installed the equipment, I told him that I wanted the theatre painted another color and he had a painter that has done work for him in the past that did a fantastic job. Todd and his crew were beyond pleasant, neat, and extremely knowledgeable. Angieslist really came through for me on Modern Media, by far the BEST angieslist find I've had. I will be using them again.

I waited yeeeeeeears to have a great sound system and hired Modern Media for the job. Hands down, Todd and his crew did a phenomenal job! The system is in a new home construction so I had the builder pre-wire and all along Todd provided advice during the process, a value-add that I would not have received from a big box store. He even inspected the builder?s pre-wire before sheetrock and made necessary corrections on the spot. Now for the equipment, I knew I wanted a top tier system and the Definitive Technology towers turned out to be an amazing choice paired up with DT?s in the rear ? the sound is high-end and with enough volume it fills the entire house. Workmanship provided was nothing less than white glove (clean connections, flush ceiling install, all trash hauled away, etc.). Bar none, I recommend Modern Media for your media needs so that you can enjoy yours as much as my family is enjoying ours.

Modern Media delivered. In exploring options, I contacted several firms to get a quote and insights on implementing a sound system in our family room. What I found with Todd from Modern Media is complete transparency in his recommendations and pricing. The installation team did an excellent job in getting everything set up. From clean-up to training, everything was done in a professional and thorough manner. After installation, everything was done as promised and within the estimate. Todd and Modern Media delivered a great system in a trustworthy and complete way. This was the first sound system I ever had installed, and I am glad Modern Media delivered a great experience. I have used the services of several other "professional" A/V installers BUT Modern Media is simply & profoundly the best. If the A/V industry had "Emmy Awards," I have the greatest confidence they would have received a mantle full. Prompt, very knowledgable, patient, friendly, willing and driven to get the details right, more customer driven than earning bonus points by charging the customer more - they were very sensitive to cost & concerned that I understood how to work the system after they left. Just a very pleasing experience all round.

Todd in a word is a Genius. He quoted my estimate and made recommendations as to how he would do it if it was his house. He also takes the time to know what the customer wants. He gives them the "Deluxe Version" if you will and a couple of other less expensive options so that the customer has a choice. Todd also took a look at what we may want to do in the future and designed his quote so that if we did want to go down that road, the tough part would be out of the way. EXCELLENT WORK and will no doubt be using him in the next couple months when we have our Media room done. Thanks Todd and your team for your service.

I contacted Modern Media via email early Saturday morning. Within 45 minutes, Todd called me back. I asked a few questions, told Todd what I was looking for, and wanted to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Todd was in Frisco at the time giving another estimate but asked if that day would work for me. We live in NW Ft. Worth, so I knew it was quite a drive for him that day, but he didn't have a problem with coming all that way, which I really appreciated since I only have weekends off. From the moment I met Todd, I felt comfortable with him. After arriving, Todd spent the next 2+ hours with me explaining everything to me in detail, and answering every one of my many questions. I had a budget in mind, so Todd created two estimates, one with my budget in mind and one with what we had talked about while he was at our home. After going over them, I sent Todd a couple more emails with my thoughts on how to bring the system and cost in somewhere in the middle. He gave me his honest opinion as to what he thought would sound great as well as give me most of what I wanted without blowing my budget. I agreed with what he proposed and we set the installation date. I arrived home when they were just finishing up the installation, at which time Todd went over everything with me. The quality of their work was outstanding. The system that was installed exceeded my expectations in every way. Todd's honesty is something that is very uncommon these days, and I appreciated it more than anything. To give you an example, when I was asking for the amount owed (I didn't have the estimate in front of me), Todd jumped on his laptop and started going over the numbers. It was at this time that made a big impression with me... Todd actually deducted items off of the estimate that were not used in the installation. This meant a great deal to us as most companies we have dealt with would have just collected the original estimate amount. I typically get 2 or 3 estimates for such a large purchase, but I was always comfortable with Todd and trusted him from the beginning so I didn't bother to call anyone else, and I am glad I didn't. Todd was a pleasure to work with and I am very happy with this experience. My wife and I LOVE our new theater room! We spent most of the weekend in there!

Can not say enough good things about Todd and Mike. They were so pleasant to to deal with. They explained everything,answered every question I had,were fast and efficient,and cleaned up as they went. Had a minor issue and Mike came back out and helped me figure out the problem,which was the cable company and got it all fixed. I will use this company again and refer them to anyone in need. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an honest price and quality work.

We had a great experience working with Todd. We have always built our homes in prior relocations and created our home audio and video to our specific needs. This time we bought an existing home with existing infrastructure. Working on a phased approach, Todd has done a superb job at integrating our existing equipment with new equipment in building out our whole house music and surround set up in our family room. We have been thoroughly pleased - Todd made great recommendations for in-ceiling speakers ensuring the speakers actually met the needs of the room. For our surround, he even made recommendations for our furniture. When an existing television didn't work in our master bathroom, Todd went out that day to find a new one that would meet our needs. We are waiting on our pool to be built to have Todd return to finish outdoor sound and next on the list is our media room. I would highly recommend Todd for any home audio/video project.

After watching a few You Tube videos and glancing at the instructions that came with my in-wall speakers, I was ready to move forward and install my surround sound unit in the living room of my new home. About 10 minutes later I was on Angie?s List trying to find a professional company to come out and finish the installation and fix the huge hole I had incorrectly cut into the wall of my living room. That?s when I came across Modern Media? They had rave reviews and a perfect rating on Angie?s List. My initial thought was this company sounds too good to be true. Then, I checked Yelp! to see if there was any negative feedback or unsatisfied customers. Again, perfect ratings. I went ahead and reached out to them along with a few other companies for a comparison of installation prices. Todd from Modern Media replied within the hour with a quote and brief description about their company and quality of work. I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism and timely response. Their price was competitive compared to other quotes I received but it was their positive track record and prompt communication that made me ultimately go with them. Mike, Todd?s business partner came out and installed a 5.1 in-wall surround sound unit in the living room of my home, along with two outdoor speakers and a volume control switch. He also fixed the huge hole I had incorrectly cut in our living room, which made him my wife?s hero. It took him the good part of the day for the installation and it showed in his attention to detail. You can tell Mike and Todd both take pride in the quality of their work and truly care each customer is completely satisfied with the finished product. I can honestly say they surpassed my expectations. Todd took time after the installation to walk me through the set-up and proper use of my receiver. Everything was connected and easy to access. Todd was able to connect four different units to my receiver and TV. When I want to switch from the cable to dvd player, I can with an easy click of a button. The sound quality is also exceptional. Todd spent extra time adjusting the volume output on my in-wall speakers and out-door speakers. He showed me how to use the two different zones on my receiver so I can watch TV inside and have the radio on outside. Overall, these guys did an excellent job! Mike followed-up about a week later to make sure I was still satisfied with the quality of work and to see if I had any questions. Very professional and extremely hight quality work. We bought a home in Southlake that was built in the 1990s, and Todd and Mike brought the house up to 2014 technologystandards. No barrier of my pre-existing home stood in their way to wire our multi-zone home audio system, patio, and theater. They continued to think outside of the box to find solutions to any obstacles. They were extremely responsive and very thorough. Todd went above and beyond on explainingevery step of the process and answered every question. The best part is with Modern Media, you get the latest technology and high end service at an affordable price. Much better pricing than any name brand Southlake audio shop. Highly recommend!!

I called for a quote and Todd came over to look over everything and give a price. His response time and punctuality was fantastic. We set up the installation for about a week later. This morning Mike showed up right on time, we looked over everything and he got to work. Mike was very professional and personable, everything was done to my high expectations. Todd and his colleague, Mike Henry, did in absolutely outstanding job for us. I was working with a set budget, and brought in three separate contractors to provide estimates. Of the three, Todd was by far the most helpful in terms of offering creative suggestions that would improve the media experience. His estimate was also very professionally prepared, and included a description of each of the components and why he was recommending them. The estimate also offered a number of alternatives for cost savings. Throughout this process, Todd worked with us to keep the overall cost down, which was much appreciated. Installation went very well. Todd's colleague, Mike, did most of the installation work, and finished the room over the course of two days. Todd then provided a comprehensive tutorial on how each of the different systems worked. We've now had the room for a month, and we couldn't be happier. My wife and I have always enjoyed going out to the movies, but we've found over the last few weeks that we would rather stay in and rent a movie -- the overall experience in the movie room surpasses that which you get at the movie theater, and that includes the screen and sound. I highly recommend Modern Media.
