water softeners
+ -1 moreThe repairman was on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, had the expertise and parts to fix it, and did so in a quick and professional manner. It seems my water supply had brought a buch of junk into the softener, and it had clogged the bed up, restricting the water flow, and also puching some of the smaller resin beads through the filter basket. The riser pipe had collapsed somewhat due to the pressure in the system. The pipe and backet were replaced, and the system backwashed several times to get the junk out.
Description of Work: My water was messed up. Several faucets were not flowing well, and others were. I had a beigeish grit in the filter screens which was clogging them up. A plumber I called told me it was my water softener, andI needed to call someone to repair it. I called Whirlpool, and they directed me to WinBar Services. They were quite busy, so could not come for a few days, but they made an appointment for Labor day. .
