We were expecting out of town guests and were anxious to get the carpet and a recliner cleaned before their visit. Late on a Friday afternoon I used the website to request an appointment on the following Wednesday. I filled out all the details on the website, which did state that they cannot promise they will come at the requested time. The website process continued smoothly and I assumed everything was scheduled for the requested time, so we planned our week around that schedule. Not until the following Tuesday did we get a call saying that they could not make the scheduled time. They offered us some alternative times but since our own schedules were planned around the requested time we couldn't find a compatible time until that Friday. Unfortunately that was the day of a major storm and they cancelled that appointment. I can't blame them for the storm and I acknowledge the website made it clear that we were 'requesting' a time not scheduling a time. But I'm puzzled why, in 2014, the website didn't have the capability to let us know immediately that the time we requested was unavailable. Most importantly, I don't feel it should have taken 4 1/2 days to let us know that they couldn't come at the planned time. They offered to reschedule again but by then it was too late to do the work before our guests arrived.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went really well. There were no extra charges. The technician was great and the equipment they used was all up to date. I was really impressed. It improved the quality of the dryer vent. They were good. The reason why we rescheduled for the following week was because I asked for it. Everything was fine.

I bought their Big Deal; it went fine. I ended up paying more than the deal amount because I had them do some extra cleaning. They were very friendly. Nothing stood out about them; it was a typical service. I have a travertine tile floor and they said their Big Deal was for something else that was not in the plan stated on Angie's List. They went ahead and cleaned the grout but they said they probably would not do it for the same price in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was good. They were fast, clean and on time. They did real good. We didn't pay any additional. They were very knowledgeable. The quality was fantastic. They were great. We would certainly use them again.

I have used Coit in the past for cleaning/re-doing the grout in one my bathrooms with good results. Coit had a very atttractive special on their website for airduct cleaning. It was such a good price I decided to have the work done and scheduled. The next day one of those as mailers came in the mail with an ad for another company with a much less expensive price. I am wary of these ads but my family member insisted so I looked in to the company. The first thing I do is check the company website and then I check with the Comptroller's Office online to see if the company is registered to do business. In Texas this is free. The competitor had not paid its taxes and were in bad standing with the state. I could also tell from state information how long the competitor had been in business and that length of time did not match with the length of time they stated on their website. Red flag. Also, I've learned when these "rock bottom" prices are offered, it is because the ad company uses them as a "leader" to get in your door and then either (1) sell you other services or (2) they just do not perform a quality job or they cause other damage and do not come back and fix it. Of course we stayed with Coit and were not disappointed. The owner, Ernie, came out to verify the phone quote. He arrived with Paul, the technician. Ernie took a lot of time and answered every single question of my family member in a patient manner. Paul was very diligent and conscientous as he went about his work. There were three filters, including a HEPA filter, involved in the process. They showed me the top filter was brand new and then we were able to look at it again at the end and see all the dirt and dust removed from the ductwork. Paul was careful not to create a lot of mess, but some dirt and dust on the floor is expected and Paul cleaned everything up very well. He also noticed some fine paint on the floor in the bathroom left over from a painting job I had done this past year and he took a moment to clean up someone else's mess too! Paul was a pleasure to have in my home and handled the job very well! Ernie has high standards and he also has excellent techinicians who maintain those standards! Coit offers many services and has highly skilled and caring technicians to perform those services. Ernie also works hard to make the services affordable. Yes, you will pay more than the fire sale price but you will have the peace of mind of a reputable company, an honest owner and caring technicians. Business owners have cost to stay in business and managing the business, retaining good employees, all carries a cost. Frankly, you want a company that treats its employees well and manages their business well in your home. Over the years I've experienced "getting what you pay for" and I've learned paying that extra carries way more benefit that one can really put a price on in the end. I highly recommend Coit to you.

My experience was excellent. They were great to work with, and they guy was very prompt. He was on the money and on time. He came in and explained to me what he was going to do and took care of it. It was a deal, I was thrilled. I will definitely use them again. They did an excellent job, my tile looks great. The young man they sent was very good at explaining what he was going to do and making sure that I understood what was going on.

As a property manager, I rely on the information I receive from tenants who work with the service providers. My tenant was very pleased with the work that Coit performed, and he told me he would use this company again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went really well. They did some kind of stain treatment so I paid extra over the Big Deal amount. I think they were very professional and I liked them. They seemed to be very caring. The first time I used them was on another Big Deal and I had them clean a rug. I wanted to take the fringe off the rug and the lady who was doing it was going through chemo and, I thought, they were very supportive of her. I thought they were a caring company.

We bought the Angie's List deal for $179, up to 300 sq ft... we were a little over that square footage in our areas that needed cleaning, but they stuck to the deal and did not charge extra (thank you!). We had a crazy day pop up on us and threw the appointment time into question, but Coit had no problems adjusting to our need for delayed start (thank you!). The rep, Paul, was very personable and professionally knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and what did not need to be done... there was no upselling, instead, candid advice on what could wait to be cleaned and sealed (thank you!). After a bit of prep work, Paul went to town on cleaning, vacuuming/wiping excess water, and then hand-applying the grout sealer. For the 300+ foot area, it took about 90 minutes or so once the work actually started. It probably would have been quicker, but I asked a lot of questions and he offered a lot of tips to keep the tile and other materials clean and safe from damage due to improper cleaning chemicals, tools, etc. (thank you!). So, here we are the next day, I think some of the material still needs to dry out, but from what I can tell and what I know, we have freshly cleaned tiles and grout, sealed up for another several years of daily use. I don't have much basis for comparison since this is the first time cleaned and re-sealed, but I think we certainly got what we paid for and then some (thank you). That's five 'thank you's' for those keeping score. Will call them again in the future for flooring care issues!

They did a great job. They completed the work within a few hours. I had to wait two hours before walking on the carpets. They were timely and I liked working with them. I would give them an A+ if I could.

It was a good service. The service was adequate. They cleaned out the dryer vent like they advertised.

This expired the employee to go back to the office to get the appropriate equipment. I did have the receipt from Angie's list which specified tile cleaning. The results were not as expected. I saw very little difference

The company contacted me within 12 hours of my purchasing the service. We scheduled a time for the work. The technician called before arrival and arrived promptly. He was professional and courteous. He looked at the floor and described what he would do and the results he anticipated. I worked in the other room while he completed the work in the kitchen and dining room. It took him about 2 hours from the time he arrived to complete the work. The floor looks great! It made a huge difference - for the better!

We've been using Coit for over 10 years and have written several positive reviews. A phone call with some lead time got us the day and time of our choosing. The work took three hours with setup and take down. Jake was careful of our home and diligent in his work. Coit comes prepared with a large and modern truck. All went well and we remain a fan of this company.

The last renter had allowed their dog to soil the carpets (yuck). We pre-cleaned them once so we could work in the rooms; however, after COIT cleaning the dog stains were gone and the smell was much better.

Jake was the technician who arrived at my home. He had called to let us he was en route. I had purchased a "groupon" for $200, but knew I had more square footage than covered by the deal. Jake said that was okay, and estimated the additional charge for me. Jake did an absolutely AMAZING job! The last time I've seen my kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom floors (and grout) this clean was the day they were installed. I plan on using Coit for many years in the future. Their services are awesome!

Great service

He came on Wed. and it was too wet to go up on the roof to clean the vent out... I discouraged him from it myself since the roof there is very steep. But he came back on Saturday when it was drier outside and did an excellent job of removing lint from the dryer inside and outside where the vent comes out on the roof.

They were professional, polite, and courteous. Would recommend them anytime.

They came when they said they would come which was very good. They were polite. We have used them before one time because the price was right. They got the job done quickly. We probably will not use them again because I felt like their chemicals didn't clean them as well as I have had them in the past. The cleaner was very nice. The scheduling was perfect and we didn't have to wait.

Good job cleaning and didn't try to charge is extra for every little stain!

I used Coit Carpet Cleaning service before and was very satisfied. On this job Paul was the technician. He arrived at the appointed time and after a brief discussion of what carpeted areas were to be cleaned, he started cleaning. He cleaned the carpets in a living area, two bedrooms, hallway and stairs. He really did a good job and Coit will be called for future cleaning.

Purchased the certificate last Oct. Initially had trouble on scheduling but for the best. Have decided to retire and move to Houston so this was perfect for getting the home ready to show. The technician arrived earlier than stated but had called and the service was accomplished in a very workmanship manner. The certificate was for 300 sf and our areas totaled 299.
