It went great. He was helpful, informative, and on time. He did a good job. It was a good experience. They came out the same week I purchased the deal. It took him about an hour to get all the stuff done.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $99, for two hours of electrical work. The provider contacted me quickly, I called back and an appointment was set. The provider arrived a little early, calling first to let my husband, who was home that day, know they were on the way. We had a non-working outlet in the hall bathroom. We had checked the breaker box, but had missed something, because it was an unusual type of breaker. The electricians spotted it right away, reset it, and showed my husband what to look for if it should happen again. We have a large fluorescent lighting fixture in our kitchen that had recently stopped working well. The two electricians checked it, and determined that the ballasts were not working, and that most of the tubes needed to be replaced. They had to go out for some parts, The tubes are an odd size and no one store carried enough of them to do the job, so the electricians went to multiple stores to find enough to do the job. They worked quickly and efficiently, were courteous and friendly, and we are very pleased with the results. They charged us only for the parts needed. We will use Switch Electric again, and recommend them to others.

Very well. He knew exactly what needed to be done, advised me in advance of some extra steps that would be required given the previous lighting fixtures, and did exactly what he'd promised. He was respectful of me and my home, cleaned up after himself, and provided advice on some other electrical issues I'm dealing with. I will hire him back to do additional work. He's knowledgeable and the prices quoted are fair.

Provider arrived by himself and inspected our electrical panel. He said the outdoor outlets were not working because the Ground Fault Interrupter receptacle needed replacing. Before he finished telling me that another vehicle showed up with two guys - an older gentleman and a young man. The provider said he needed to go purchase the receptacle and it would cost us an additional $60. All men left and returned 30 minutes or more later (we live no more than 3 miles from a Home Depot and less than that to a Wal-Mart, that also carries that sort of stuff). After they returned, the older man left and the young one was the one installing It took a lot longer than it should have because of the shopping trip, but everything works now.

It was great! They were very professional and got everything done very quickly. I had them do additional work that was very fairly priced. It was around $400, so I think I paid an extra $300 for a couple of extra things. He was training an apprentice and he seemed to be concerned with growing the experience and he talked about hiring people that he trusted. It was kind of a family run thing and that was nice.

I responded to a special offering ($69 for a service call and one hour labor). We made an appointment. The owner and an assistant came on time as agreed. The electrician quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem I had called about (GFCI). He did it all within the hour I had paid for and did not try to charge for more time. I stayed with him and he explained a lot that I had not known about what and why he was doing.

My experience was great. One technician came out to do the work and I was satisfied with their service. He arrived on time for the appointment.

I had such a great experience with Switch Electric the first time, I had them come out to install a GFCI outlet at the rear of my house to feed electricity to my patio. I've been using it to power my music player while grilling - everything works and looks great.

"The appt was made over the phone, but neither of us mentioned that the place the lights were to be installed were in a manufactured home. When the electrician, Brandon, arrived, he did not feel comfortable working on my house and opted out of the service.

As a former electrician (who now cannot do home improvements on a ladder due to age ) I can assure anyone that Switch Electric does great professional work at rather low prices. Since moving to San Antonio I carefully search & select for responsible service providers who do not have a big overhead ( office staff, salespersons on commissions nor big TV commercials) that will add to my cost of doing business with them. Switch Electric consists of Brandon and Carlos who are very good at electrical work and are very friendly. I carefully inspected their work which was done very well.

It went great. When installing the new fan he found that the builder had not installed the cross brace in the attic. With no extra charge he removed the old cross brace and replaced with the correct kind. Installation of the fan was perfect and it is working great.

They were very easy to work with, including being flexible with their schedule and with what we wanted to have done. They were helpful with advice on several electrical questions we had that were unrelated to what they were doing for us. The quality of their work was great, and we will definitely keep their business card for future work.

During our initial phone conversation, I told Brandon that I wanted him to install under-cabinet lights in my kitchen. He was unsure about whether he could do it in the allotted two hours I purchased as a special deal. He said he would come investigate the situation. I had the 18" LED light and electric wire ready to install. When he arrived and saw that my kitchen had painted dry wall (no back splash or wall paper) and the plug configuration, he agreed he would do one light. When I asked if I could watch so that I could install 3 more lights, he agreed. He installed the light using wires off of the GFI plug in the kitchen. It has more wires than the plugs I will be wiring off of so we discussed the differences as he did the work. He taught me about positioning the light so it is wired to code. My kitchen had a cross board at the bottom of the cabinet inside the wall that Brandon had to drill through to feed the wire. I have some wallboard patching to do, but now I know how to deal with the problem when I encounter it. At the end of my project, I'll patch all the wallboard at once and may install a back splash to hide the patches. I am very pleased with my new under cabinet light and feel certain I can wire the rest. Brandon also cleaned up after himself when he was done.

The bathroom lights blew out everything on that circuit. Electrician, Clark & his technician, Carlos, of Switch Electric, arrived on time & were able to identify the problem. They had to remove the Breaker Box cover to identify what was causing the problem. Both were courteous and knowledgeable. They put everything back in it's place that they had to moved, and left the area clean and neat. I certainly would recommend this company to others. The charges were exactly as quoted. I am very pleased with their sevice & will call on Switch Electric again if I have a problem.

Brandon was quick to contact me and set up a time in the late afternoon that was good for my work schedule. He let me know ahead of the install date what extra items I would need since my ceilings have a slope to them. He was on time and explained what he was doing and a little about housing electrics. He finished quick and both fans work perfect. I would recommend using this company to anyone needing fans installed.

Brandon did an excellent job and was extremely professional. He made sure that everything was clean once he completed the job. He repaired two flourescent fixtures in the master bedroom closet. I also requested additional work fixing the ballast in the fixture over the vanity and two additional ballast in the garage. I would definitely recommend Switch electric.

I purchased the 2 ceiling fans for $111 deal on 10/8/13 and gave 3 possible installation times that would work for me. The deal specifically notes that Switch Electric would be contacting me by 10/10/13. On 10/10/13 I received an email from Big Deal Help Desk stating sorry the deal hasn't worked out. At this point I had never requested cancellation of the deal nor had any contact with Switch Electric. On 10/11/13 I called Switch Electric directly and when I tried to schedule an appointment they tried to pad the deal with a $30 fee for a remote. The ceiling doesn't have pull switches and is manufactured with the remote. This seems like a bait and switch deal and I want to be fully refunded.

Switch was great. They emailed me quickly and were very open to working around my work schedule. They did a nice job installing the fans- cleaning up as them went. Overall a great experience.

This guy is great. As I mentioned, he removed 2 old outdoor ceiling fans, and completely assembled 2 new ones and installed them. I had previously installed a 3rd fan, but it was a little wobbly. For a very small fee, he fixed it up while he was there. He gave me some good advice about existing wiring and also an estimate on a new GFCI outlet I want to install. I had to leave for work, so my wife and dogs were at the house. When he had to leave, he invited my wife out to view the work. He was very friendly and made her feel comfortable. He's coming back to finish up a couple of small things and install the GFCI outlet as soon as I can manage the time.

The gentleman from Switch Electric showed up on time, was friendly and courteous, did the required tasks quickly and accurately. He also made sure that one of the replaced fixtures (a chandelier) was safely stored, by screwing a hook into a garage counter and mounting the chandelier there.

Brendan contacted me the day after I signed up for the Angie's list big deal. He came out to the house within an hour of making contactt, completed his work efficiently and effectively (the fan and lights are working fine), gave me good advice about the wiring system in our house and didn't try to sell me anything. It was a pleasant experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.
