Switch Electric

I was not very impressed with the service. After I bought the deal I was supposed to hear from them within three days. I had to call them several times and it was over a month before they returned my call. They said it was because it was Christmas and something was happening in the family or something. He did not check all of the outlets, which was part of the deal. He told me that because I had purchased the house in the last year or two that the home inspector should have done that so he was not going to do that. That was listed in the deal, that they were going to check all the outlets. I believe he came early and did not call to let me know he was coming early.

They were pretty good for the money and helped me for the problem. They were good and fine.

Provided did no work. Purchased one of the specials of the day. Never heard back from this company. Eventually I called Angie's List customer service and got a refund to apply towards a different company.

Purchase of service canceled before any work done.

It was good. I was happy and he did a lot of work. They were prompt. I asked him for estimates for some other work and I felt that it was high so I didn't go with that. But as far as the big deal went; it was good.

It was alright. He got the job done in about one hour and 15 minutes. He went about doing his work and was very cordial. The scheduling was very easy.

The service went fine. They were very responsive and easy to schedule. I had them install some lighting and install a new wall outlet from a 2 to 3 prong. One technician came out for the job and completed the service in about 2 hours. He did a superb job and everything works very nicely.

Provider explained why my GFIC outlet had burned out - a water softener had been put on the same circuit and caused it to flip. He replaced it with a regular one. I have had no further problems. The provider was a brand new business and professionalism was somewhat lacking. He did not have receipts and requested that I pay by check because he didn't want to pay the credit card transaction fees.

I was very pleased with them. I would recommend them. I got them off of Angie's List and people had recommended them. I found their recommendations very accurate. Their price was very fair.

I had left several voice mails for over the course of months and could never get a return call. Today I received a return call and was told they would not honor the Big Deal purchase to ask A.L. for a refund. So I am requesting a refund since I received nothing in return for my money Thank you, Christine Tharp.

When the light went out over my garage, I thought it was just the bulb, but because it was mounted so high I couldn't get to it even with my 10' ladder. When the electricians came and looked at it they told me that the whole fixture needed to be replaced. They asked if I had the replacement fixture and I told them no, that I didn't know I needed to replace the fixture. They were nice enough to go to Lowes, find a comparable fixture, install it, all for the $99 deal. Of course I reimbursed them for the cost of the fixture. The fixture they chose was brighter, had a wider angle so more of my lot was illuminated and used less electricity. They also left the work area clean. They exceeded my expectations!

He walked around and looked at my outlets and mentioned the house was old. I feel like he didn’t do a very thorough inspection. He was here for less than 30 minutes. He didn’t even make it up into my attic to check up there either. Neither didn’t he look at the breaker box thoroughly either. My fiance then asked him if he would walk me through what I could do to connect some wiring and charged us $60.00. He did also have to come back to fix a wiring that he connected that stopped working after he left.

The big deal was fine. The $99 of the big deal covered everything. Everything went fine.

I called Switch after reading the reviews... and they were out later that same day working on the items. Very thorough and work was completed without any problems. Knowledgeable staff that were very helpful. I would highly recommend them to friends and family and use them again, no hesitation.

He sent me an email stating that it would be at least 3 weeks until he could even schedule an appointment.

He was honest and was willing to work with us. He was very reasonable, as well. I've already recommended him to others.

I purchased the service through a big deal special. The representative contacted me promptly to schedule my appt. They arrived on time and performed all the items on my electric todo list. I was very pleased and would definitely use Switch Electric again.

He was knowledgeable and friendly. He took his time and made sure I understood all the issues. Very good service.

Gave me exact reason why my lights were not working in my outside office sign . He told me I had to get electricians that specialize in commercial signs BUT he told what was wrong and how much the sign co. would charge $800. He was nice enough to tell all I had to do was to change the 2 ballasts and light bulbs . So I did it myself and parts were $200 and saved $600 . I would trust this electrician for any other work

The appointment was not kept

The job never happened. I was told they were too busy.

THE FAN NEEDED A BRACE INSTALLED SO THEY DID GO AND PURCHASE THAT PLUS LIGHT BULBS I NEEDED FOR THE LIGHT FIXTURE BECAUSE I HAD PICKED UP THE WRONG ONES. I DID APPRECIATE THAT, HOWEVER I FELT THEIR WORK WAS SUB PAR. THERE IS A FOAM STRIP LIKE CAULKING FOR THE LIGHT FIXTURE THAT WAS NOT EXACTLY APPLIED CORRECTLY AND THE TECH JUST KEPT SAYING WHY HE COULD GET IT EXACTLY RIGHT FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. FELT LIKE IT WAS JUST AN EXCUSE. WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I purchased the service but did not hear back from him to schedule the appointment for about a month. He was due to be at my house by 10:00 and did not arrive on time. He was professional and checked out my GFC plugs. He determined that the main plug in the garage needed to be replaced. He left but came back that afternoon to replace the plug.

We were so pleased to find that Brandon works on Saturday and did not charge extra for a weekend call. He was early to arrive and promptly diagnosed our problem which was corrected, and our outlets are back in service for guests this weekend. We highly recommend Switch Electric.
