Description of Work: They replaced 2 windows. It took longer to get the glass than I expected, but the results were good!

Description of Work: Replaced glass in 7 windows of varying sizes (indoor and storm windows). Arrived on time and completed the job within 3 hours. They were professional and efficient and pleasant to work with. We had an issue with the seal on one pane and they returned right away. Turns out the problem was with a warped aluminum frame. They resealed it and rigged a pressure pack to allow the seal to adhere. I waited 48 hours to remove the pressure pack and all is well! They even left a tube of caulk for us to use if it comes loose again but said they will come back if necessary.

Description of Work: Replace two broken window. Did it in the rain and maintained quality the entire time. THank you.

Description of Work: Originally I never received a quote on the internet for services. This was rectified with owner. A wrong e-mail was used, and corrected on the spot.

Description of Work: When the patio door broke at our rental house I didn't have time to shop around for the best price but relied on Angie's list for a reliable contractor to replace it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be there when S. Texas Glass came out to install it so the tenant supervised. When I did get there a couple days later to inspect the job I was very dissatisfied with the installation. They had used the old damaged gasket from the previous installation and the results were very sloppy. I called the manager and complained. He dispatched the two workers that did the original job to fix the problem. When they arrived they respectfully explained that this installation requires a gasket and not just caulking to secure the glass. The previous occupants had replaced this door before but used caulking that damaged the gasket. The workers said they couldn't get a replacement gasket without being able to identify the door's manufacturer which they couldn't do because there were no identification marks on it. Moreover, they couldn't use a generic gasket because it didn't fit this door. Anyway, they took the door apart and demonstrated this. They ended up developing a work around using some rubber spacers that functioned, more or less, as the gasket. The end result was clean-looking repair compared to the gasket sticking out from the glass. All-in-all I was initially disgruntled with the first installation but they reacted promptly and resolved this in a courteous, responsible manner and expended about 2.5 hours of labor doing it. The workers were nice guys who obviously wanted to satisfy me. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Although I gave them an "A" for price I really don't know if that was a competitive price or not as this was my first patio door replacement.

Description of Work: We needed a window repaired after some vandalism. This company provided an accurate estimate, gave us information about the timing of everything, and did a beautiful job on the window.
