They are excellent! Everything has been positive! They showed up on time, and they were courteous. They got the job done quickly, and on their way. I would recommend them to anybody that needs a/c work.

We used Angie's List to call several HVAC reps and Jon Wayne was one of our respondents. Jon Wayne representative was a total professional, on time, articulate on his companies offers and pricing. Several energy rebate options with CPS and a thorough maintenance contract was offered. Unfortunately JW bids were almost twice as much as the lowest bid being considered. We do a lot of house maintenance ourselves and found many of the cost untenable. We settled with a local advertiser who takes large ads in the local paper and found the SEER and air purifying element we were looking for at about 2/3 the costs- and received a CPS rebate. Jon Wayne may appeal to customers who are totally mystified by HVAC or terrified of minor maintenance issues but there are many local options with reliable service.

The technician asked us what we were looking for in a system. we expressed interest in a 2 speed fan with something to help remove the humidity to lower our energy bill. He presented us with 3 options, thourothly explained the "bells n whistles" of all 3 and we picked the one we all agreed on that meet our requirements. The cost was with in my winidow of what I was willing to pay and only a little more than what company "A" quoted me with a few "bells" and no "whistle". The install is scheduled for tomorrow. I will add another review once the system is installed. Oh and by the way, He temp repaired the compressor issue so we wouldn't swelter in the killer Texas heat.

They are very good. They are highly trained and very professional. It did not cost me anything because they were here checking on something. They are a wonderful company.

They came out the same night we called them. They were nice and courteous. They came out sooner than we expected, we were happy to get air conditioning.

All employees that came to the house were very professional and they genuinely seemed to care about the system working great. They also fixed an outlet that was putting out too much voltage.

I actually fired Jon Wayne Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd because they didn't show up when they were supposed to and they didn't bring the customer filter's that they made for me. They had forgot them at the shop, and blamed me for getting these filters. I would never use John Wayne Heating & Air Conditioning again.

The Jon Wayne team was great. They spent a lot of time investigating all aspects of our home's heating and cooling performance. When they came to our house with their equipment, technology and computer, we were wondering why we hadn't done this long ago. Through many years of home ownership and HVAC repairs/replacements, we had clearly never seen proper consideration given to the issues which create or thwart a comfortable indoor climate. They were eager to answer our questions and truly seemed to enjoy their work. We were provided with suggestions for getting better performance from our HVAC system.

Unfortunately my finances last year did not allow me to go ahead with the install so I just put in a few window units to hold me till I could afford it. I plan to call them to come out again in the next month or so and do the work.

They were very professional and on time it took them two days to complete the work and I very satisfied with the service I received !

Jon Wayne installed new A/C and heating units. They did a very professional job, with well engineered equipment. The three men were very professional and knew their job. I would rate the job and the technicians as excellent and would recommend Jon Wayne to anyone.

technician/sales person (not sure) arrived and took a look at our system. he gave me an overview of all of the problems and proceeded to give me an estimate on a new system.

It went very well. They were extrememly professional and very punctual. They completed the entire project in a very reasonable time period. Their appearance was great, and their uniforms kept our home clean. It was a pleasure to deal with them.

I called Jon Wayne out to look at the issue and help me address the hot room. When the salesman arrived, yes, salesman not a technician, we visited about what I wanted addressed and he went and took a look at the system. Once that was completed, 1 hr later, he told me that he was not able to work on the unit and would like to come back and do a whole house efficiency audit to address the hot room issue and the air handler. We scheduled the appointment and the salesman showed up with a energy efficiency person and spent 4 hrs evaluating the house (Manual J, Flow, etc). When they left, they scheduled a follow-up to discuss their conclusions. When the salesman came back for the follow-up, he spent 30 minutes reviewing their analysis and talking up everything that needed to be done and then.......told us they could fix all of my problems with a new complete HVAC, new Duct, seal the lights, extra insulation, etc. for $25,000. Then he offered a cheaper system for $24,000, then a cheaper system for $21,000. I finally told him that I was not going to replace the systems and only wanted them to fix the issue and add a new duct to the hot room. His finally told me that that would be $5,000, but it included trier Maintenance Program. I told him to remove that cost and he told me that it would be more if they did not maintain it. WHAT? Needless to say, I sent him on his way and never called him back and the kicker is, he never called me back either. I will never get the 6 hrs of my life back that they wasted.

I will never use them again, and I would never recommend them. They attempted to charge me $500.00 to install the capacitor which was only $35.00. Because of this, I told the technician to leave and found someone else to do the work.

Made an appointment to have one of our three AC units looked at and was given a 3 hour time window. My window of time was from 9-12 and the technician did not arrive until 6:00 PM. Proceeded to look at unit and tell us they could all be serviced for around $200.00. We agreed and he serviced all the units and then presented us with his "analysis" of the situation. Gave an estimate of $15,000 for a new unit. We said all we wanted was the leak fixed and he said I can't do that you need to call a plumber for that. We asked why he had not mentioned he couldn't do that earlier since it was now going on 4 hours for the service call and he said "Listen to me carefully, you wanted the units serviced not fixed." I told him the original call was to fix the unit and he offered the servicing. After we argued I just told him to get out. I called AAA Auger at 10:00 PM, they arrived at 10:15 PM and were done at 10:30 PM. Cost $129.00. Almost 6 months later we still have not had any problems or needed to replace the unit. I will never use Jon Wayne again.

Overall the service was prompt and seems to be great quality work and equipment. We will see if the efficiency and service withstands the test of time. Price seems pretty steep however that seems to be the case with anything having to do with AC/Heating. They seem to have some good deals on regular service and warranties.

I am acting as the general for my new home. Stopped by Jon Wayne to get a bid/quote for a new mini split AC install. Tito came to the front to talk to me. I was told they needed to come by the house to give the estimate, I explained that the house was not built, that I was acting as the general and needed a quote on the AC. Tito went on and on about how they needed to come out and perform their analysis. I understand what a Manual J is and why it is necessary, I also know that a Manual J can be performed from a house plan, otherwise how does any house get built with correct AC? I had a plan in my possession at the time but he was not interested in looking at it. Three times Tito asked me if I would like to schedule an appointment and three times I told him the house was not built and was not even started. His reply was that I should call them when the house was built and they would come out for a evaluation. Who builds a house without knowing the prices up front? Apparently new construction business is not welcome and I will not ever consider them for any work. I was completely insulted.

The visit went very well. He educated me about air exchange rates and the danger of having my home too tight. He showed me not only the test results, but allowed me to assist and observe the calibration of the equipment. The test results showed that I had no immediate need to pay for new doors or weather stripping. While new windows will have a higher R value, the old leaky windows are a source of 'good' air, vs. the air leaks come from the electrical outlets that blows across the rodent and insect droppings inside my walls. He validated the hard work I had put in during the summer sealing off the attic, sealing the ducts, and installing new insulation. He warned me about the furnace return air and seconded a previous recommendation about sealing off my furnace closet. Most importantly there was no rush or sales pitch. He provided feedback and answered my questions in a professional manner. Left his card so that I could reach him for any other follow up questions or requests for service.
