The guy who came out was nice, helpful, and explained everything he was doing and checking. He assessed the problem and then gave me a written quote on site.

Tech arrived on time, and was courteous. He diagnosed my issue as a bad moisture sensor and replaced it. The part costs about $20 online. He told me I was getting a great deal because he would only be charging me the after hours service call price ($119) and that normally I would be paying $200+ for the part and install. (This thing literally just plugs in and then screws into the front of my indoor air handler!) I paid the $119. He left and the AC was working. The next day, however, it cut out again. I called Jon Wayne back and they said that they couldn't have a tech out for two days. I called Service First AC and they were out in 45 minutes. They diagnosed the issue as a bad TXV Valve. Much more expensive repair, but actually fixed the problem. The reason it started working again after Job Wayne came out was because the pressure had gone down. I asked Jon Wayne for a refund, which they did provide, however they took two weeks of "talking to management" to get it sent back to me.

Arrived on time. Explained what he was going to do. Explained what he accomplished. Very professional in appearance, communications, and work.

They come in check the unit clean ....measure check the thermostat and basically make sure its all good. I really love this company!

From the very first call using Angie's list, we were greeted with professional service. The installation was great, kuddo's to Jeremy and Adam, they were great, funny and most importantly knowledgeable. They went right to work. Be very careful not to damage or leave dirt. Explained the system completely. VERY good experience.

Well, I originally had another contractor arrive to give me an estimate. The problem is this guy gave me the creeps and he seemed to be "rushed" to get the deal done. I don't like that at all. He even gave me the whole "if you commit to my services now, I'll cut you a deal" to get me to sign. I went with my gut feeling and said "no". That is when I decided to call Jon Wayne and it turns out they also do insulation! Their representative showed up and as usual they presented themselves as professional. They weren't rushing me or trying to sell me, they were only giving me the quote I requested. They described their product well and it was a bonus that I have a line-of-credit through them back when I bough an AC unit back in 2008. They told me they'd automatically enroll me in the CPS program for a rebate and it kicked in within a month. My AC bill has drastically reduced since then, approx 500-1000 kWh (depending on month) according to the CPS graph.

They are great about calling if running late or able to come earlier. They wear shoe covers in the house. Each person has been polite and excellent about explaining system check.

We were out of town but urgently needed the hose replaced to prevent a leak. John Wayne Air Plumbing was super professional on the phone. I'd submitted an online request and they were quick to respond and get me scheduled ASAP as requested. They worked with our property mgr to get into the house and check out the repair situation. Once they'd looked it over they called and quoted us a price (very reasonable - no charges for the same-day, emergency service!). The ONLY ding is this: they charge over $100 extra (I think it was actually an extra $197. Not certain.) if you want paperwork showing info about the repair they made (ie, for your property records). Otherwise you get only a receipt with the charge on it. I understand a paperwork fee... but really? $25 would be fair. So hopefully you won't need it for your records, or else prepare to pay. Otherwise, both the phone answering person and the repair tech were amazingly friendly and professional. I rarely get this level of service in San Antonio, so it was an extremely pleasant experience. Our property mgr was pleased as well. They were on time, it was quickly repaired, and they were very communicative. A+

They were professional and did a great job. He did a couple of other things around the house that I did not ask for. I thought that his prices were really good.

Satisfactory performance, did their service timely, did what they said they were going to do, nothing exceptional but no warnings or hiccups either.

For me, they have always been good and attentive. I request nothing from them when they come out and check. If there is a problem they come and repair it but there is no cost. They are honest and professional. They do their work well. I went to them because I have seen their truck outside and there were recommendations from people who lived here.

Service appointment was set for 8:00-12:00 am. Office called approximately 10:00 am and informed me that the service tech was delayed by a repair at first call address and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I chose not to reschedule. Was notified by Jon Wayne office at approximately 1:00 pm that tech was en route. Tech arrived at approximately 1:20 pm and went over all of the locations of the equipment components (compressor, evaporator, condenser, thermostats) and asked if there were any problems. He also informed me that because they had been delayed for the service appointment an additional tech would be arriving. Both techs went to work immediately to service the systems and completed in an acceptable time frame. The service techs were polite, efficient, careful about keeping my house clean. They were very careful to insure they wore shoe covers at any time they entered the house. My experience with Jon Wayne service and the employees has always been excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.

The technician found out why I had an AC leak and promptly resolved it. Also gave me tips to avoid the same issue again. And gave me a military discount. I will use them again for my AC needs.

They were prompt, professional and they knew their stuff. They were not misleading, they told me upfront how much the cost is going to be once they evaluated the job, it was pretty consistent.

Way overpriced and they will try to upsell you. My house is 5 years old and they were trying to sell me a new unit. It was hot and I thought I was going with a reputable company but I advise everyone to shop around. There are better and more reasonable air conditioner repair companies.

The technician (Blaise) was super awesome, he came in and checked up on my unit which was due. It was my yearly check-up and he changed the air filter that needed changing. He was courteous and he also cut the grass around the unit without any questions or comments. He took initiative on this so the unit did not have clutter or grass around it. I was amazed because I was going to help him do it since it wasn't something he came over to do but as I was going to approach him, he already had done it. I like the initiative he took. Thank you so much Blaise. Very courteous and informing on what he was doing and answered all my questions. Very nice gentleman and great work.

Shaun and Mark F came by on time for our appointment. They were wearing crisp, neat uniforms with their names and also booties to prevent street debris into our home. My husband showed them the leaky shower and the leaky spigot. They took their laptop and inspected both, coming back to us with their finding. They had categorized repairs into 6 repair options ranging from $6000 to a "band aid" repair of ~ $300. They pointed out several other deficiencies such as mold on the shower ceiling and the lack of proper venting in the bathroom. We paid the $29 special for the service call as advertised on Angie's List, and advised Shaun and Mark that we would get a second estimate. Both men were very courteous and dressed very professionally.

Did not appreciate the upsell. The sales person told us we could not get a compressor changed on our five year old house unless we replaced all of our duct work. Called another provider and they laughed at the quote JW provided. The other provider came the next day and did the work for 1/3 what JW quoted. To top it all off, the kid JW sent to the house apparently took apart a drainage line in our attic and never reattached it, so we had water leaking to a ceiling light in one of our bedrooms I personally will NEVER call them again. your experience might be different however. this is just my experience and are only opinions based upon my one contact with them.

Jon Wayne's is wonderful. The service was free as I am on a service contract with them. I like their technicians. Their quality is good. I will continue to use them.

They were professional and on time. They protected everything and cleaned and took everything away. They explained every thing they did. They did the job quickly and been very pleased with the results. Thanks to the Jon Wayne team.

I'm very pleased with them. What stood about them is their professionalism and their thoroughness. They went thru the whole unit, they put in new vents and new filters, and they did it all in one day. I thought that they were expensive but then you get what you pay for. They aren't cheap but they are good. I am very happy with them, it was worth it.

They did a very good job for us. The quality was excellent. I would absolutely use them again.

We have a service contract will Jon Wayne Heating & AC. During our spring checkup we were told the outside unit needed to have a value replaced and the system charged for $239. We said no thanks. Red Flag - system was working great until the check-up and of course the system quit working during the night after all the Puron leaked out. Contacted Champion AC first thing this morning. The dispatcher was just super and sent out a technician within an hour. The Champion AC technician, was the consummate professional. He immediately noticed the loosened value, tightened it up and recharged the system. Total cost $219 and that included a new one year service contract which would have cost us an additional $189 with Jon Wayne. This is not the first time we have had questionable 'need to have fixed' items from Jon Wayne technicians. During our fall check-up the technician showed my wife a picture on his iphone of mold on the coils of our inside unit. Upon inspection we could find no mold and suspect the picture came from some place else. During the spring check-up we asked 'how does it look' and were told it looked good.

came after rescheduling - some my fault, some theirs. Did a decent job, but never followed up - never sent a report with recommendations and things they told me were nothing new to me.

They were on time, neat and professional. They also installed a drop down access to the attic in our utility room. It took them all day but they stayed until the job was finished. The person who sold the job was always available returning all calls. He followed up and we received our rebate in a timely manner. The only negative was the clean up in the garage. Nails were left on the floor.
