They would not show up as scheduled. They left my 85 year old parents in 100 F weather for days. They left me waiting for hours after notifying me by phone that they'd 'be right there'.

Installers did an excellent job. They do a good job with service calls. Price is extremely high for replacement. I didn't have time to look around since unit was about to go out. Did not want to match price on identical unit after multiple phone calls and emails....no miscommunication(as I normally see in the response). If you want good A/C service at a fair price I think they do a good job. If you need a new unit they will be on the extreme high side of the price scale.

It was alright. The guy came out and diagnosed my air conditioner problem and then he didn't really do much. I didn't feel like he did a whole lot but I guess I got what I paid for. He didn't accurately diagnose what was wrong with my air conditioner. In the future he could actually properly diagnose the AC. I had someone come out afterwards and it wasn't really that difficult to figure out what was going on with it, so they weren't really thorough. He just came out and he looked and then he said what he thought it was and left. With responsiveness, they were pretty quick.

Excellent service and communications. I contacted Jon Wayne Service Co based upon their ratings on Angie's list as I am currently on assignment outside of the United States and was not disappointed. I received a call prior to them visiting my house. When they arrived on site, they quickly diagnosed the issues and provided me with three options for remedying the situation. They also counseled me on the fact my current water heater was not up to code. I really appreciated the counseling as I had not idea that the code had changed since I purchased my home in 2008. After discussing the options, they were able to replace the water heater the same day. Excellent service, I would definitely use them again for future service needs.

it went well, they found a couple things that needed to be fixed and they were very professional.

Used the Angie's List deal for Plumbing Service Call to have my water heater looked at. Turns out I had thrown a breaker, nothing was technically wrong with the water heater. Very professional and helpful, great service.

Parts prices total ripoff.tech was great . Discovered after fact that was charged 5 times normal price one part to 10 times normal on two other parts.will never suggest use this vendor based on parts gouging.bill should have run 600 but cost me due to my mistake 1500.hope someone learns from my mistake.rate this company as total never deal with

well 15 min of work cost me $197.00 That is $13.33 per min to run a snake in a drain that equates into $800 per hour for a plumber. We removed the toilet and everything all the plumber had to do was run the snake and be done. When i called they gave me a nonsense about how they have $10k worth off parts and equipment in the truck and it has to get paid somehow. I would not recommend them to anyone.

One of the problem we had with them was that they were advertising that they specifically had air conditioning people, plumbing people and I think electrical people, so when they came out to look at the air conditioning, my husband asked if they could look at some plumbing problem that we had, and the guy said that he is not a plumber and we would have to re-call and make a whole new appointment for somebody to come out. The advertising made it look like all of the people could do all of these things. He wasn't very nice about it. My husband got left with that he was kind of snotty about it. They have a basic price for the summer price unless they have to fix something. The price was good, it seemed like it met right along with the other companies. He could have been nicer about it, or explained more on it, or given a number for the plumber, but it seemed like he didn't want to sell that portion of the company.

AC repairman was professional and friendly. He did a complete inspection and identified issues and showed me the pictures of the interior wall damage and explained repair options before proceeding. He also found problems outside in the AC unit and showed me the problem area before proceeding. He also explained other maintenance that needed to be done to the AC unit in a reasonable amount of time, so I could avoid repairs in the future.

He explained in detail how the work will be done, what to expect, and the features of the water softener system. He called his office and set up the start time, which to our amazement will be Monday!

I worked with Carlos Felix and was impressed with his knowledge, his ability to explain what they were going to do and the equipment I bought. He also provided pictures of the before and after. IMG_3459.jpg

Get a Second Opinion! Called them as our AC system wasn't working. We thought it was a thermostat issue. It took all day and three different technician visits for them to tell us it was a bad board in the inside component of the system. The tech said it was a $500 fix. He went to his truck wrote up paperwork then said he didn't have the part with him so it was now a $900 fix. Same part, same labor, twice the price because "it wasn't on the truck." He then told us the system was old and needed replaced and advised we have another visit, this time from their "comfort specialist" who would be the fourth person they sent out. This person came and told us it would cost $14,000 to replace the system. We got a second opinion the next day. He fixed the system in minutes. It was a loose wire. He also provided an estimate to replace the system since it is older and we were curious. $4,000. Jon Wayne was $10,000 more and curiously enough couldn't fix the simple problem in the first place.

It went Very Well. They provided Excellent Quality. They did the work and finished. Had no problems with it. The installation was well planned, well executed, well managed. No corners were cut. Good quality product. They were worth the money. The improvements in the overall system they suggested were done and they were effective. There were some problems in the existing system that were unknown to us. Such as the inside coil was put in backwards when the house was built. There was mold in the duct. Several things were done wrong in the original installation, typical of San Antonio craftsmanship. The crew was all quality oriented. They used their brains. The seemed to take pride in their work. They definitely took ownership of the project. I specifically told them that I wanted good quality product, not the cheapest available. I think better quality is more reliable and less expensive in the long run. It lasts longer and has fewer problems. This seemed to fit well into their business model. They delivered.

services were performed at pricey. Provider tried to sell me very expensive additional services.

I possibly wouldn't use them again because the estimate was extremely high.

Lionel did an excellent job as always. I would definitely request him again for my service.

We had been suffering for years from a cheap unit put in by a well known home warranty company. Finally having had enough of leaking, repairs and ill fitting filters,,we called John Wayne. THey were reasonable, efficient and professional. We also bought their repair, servicing package and it pays for itself. We could not have been more pleased with any company. Just wish they operated in other states so we could take them with us when we move.

Arrived right on time for installation. Finished in 1 day. Everyone professional, courteous, knowledgeable.

Service was fast, everything was professional. From the peeps answering the phones to the plumber. All was top notch. You get what you pay for and I know why they have 5 stars on Angie's List.

They're punctual, friendly, and take time to explain what they're doing. On our most recent service call, what we thought was an easy fix was much more involved and time-consuming. Our new-to-us house has been filled with do-it-yourself repairs (or attempts to mask problems not caught by the inspectors). This latest one was the discovery of a self-patched leak in a garbage disposal that, while being replaced, revealed it also involved some issues with cracked plumbing pipes. While we could have purchased a cheaper replacement unit, fixing the plumbing piping would have been beyond our comfort level. The plumber installed a new garbage disposal unit and replaced the majority of pipes under the sink, all without having to do a second service call (or initial appointment was just for a consultation to see if the disposal could be repaired). After our plumber left, the service department called to see if we were happy with the service and if he'd left everything clean and tidy.

Crew showed up promptly and called before arrival to let me know they were on the way. Work was completed in about 4 hours (estimated on arrival for 6) so under expected time-frame. Nice... Cleaned up very well, including work from original install that looked like a 6th grader had done it. When they were done it looked like it should, clean, professional and most importantly like they took pride in their work. Laid down mats and wore shoe covers the entire time as well. Should note that the original visit was very productive as my system is not the basic one and I am used to most people not quite knowing what it is, much less being able to fix it easily. Consultant not only knew they system type, but was extremely knowledgeable about what could, and could not be done. I was given a 'need to fix' list along with 'recommendation' list and 'options' list with the visit. This is how I personally like to do business, no 'fog' about what needs to be done vs what is recommended and optional. Probably need to mention another item with the consultation, it took about 2 hours for him to 'view' system and it was the most thorough job I have ever seen. Matter of fact, he found the original install had not put in enough vents to allow system to operate per manufactures instructions. Likely this one thing being pointed out saved me quite a lot in future repairs as system was being overworked and choked due to insufficient air being available to operate. Nice job guys, will look forward to using you in future!

I left a message for the company and within 5 minutes they called back and scheduled an appointment for the next day. We moved to a new home and not all of the outdoor lights were working in our backyard. Since we were having a party with almost 200 teens the next week, we needed the backyard to be well lit. The electrician took the time to help me find out which switches were working and which were not. He capped off one and repaired others. He was unable to repair the light in the pool - I had to get a pool guy to do that. Electrician was patient, professional and got the majority of the job done.
