tFirst, we put in an offer on a prime lot and FIVE days later, was told that someone else had already purchased. VERY suspicious. So we chose the second best lot in the neighborhood. Second, we chose many many options and then Kelli took our marked up floor plan and REWROTE it... so we lost some of the options we had chosen, as well as many of the outlet and switch placement. Third, the house took TWO MONTHS longer to build than we were told it would take, costing us an extra month's -higher- rent because we were no longer in Lease. Fourth, when we went for inspection prior to Close, many many things were NOT complete... from the main bathroom not being grouted to the extra shelves that were paid for not being installed in all the closets. Fifth, we found -everyone- except the salesperson DIFFICULT to work with... especially the Customer Liaison, Kelli Rowan, who was so worried about her affair with a married man that she barely did her job. When we had questions, it was met with a bad attitude. Finally, the overall quality of work was poor. From the backyard being so badly slopped that it washed away with the first rain (the whole lot was flat when we picked it), to a misaligned garage door that was always very loud, to a poor hvac vent layout and hvac unit placement (next to a bedroom window) to a poorly secured front door, to using the wrong caulking around windows (we had redone a year later), to finding contractor trash under the lawn and left behind virtually every appliance. Oh, and the Warranty was a joke! When we called because of poor drainage in the Master Bathroom, the head Warranty guy actually ADDED dents to the shower floor. All the Warranty people had the attitude that they weren't going to fix any problems. WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BUILDER!
