Very punctual and to the point. He replaced a faulty breaker, found the problem and was out in 20 minutes.

We recently had some remodeling work done to our home and I was concerned and I was concerned about a dimmer switch and ceiling fan. I called Barney and he walked me through it over the phone instead of coming out to my house for a needless service call. He called me back quickly and was very professional on the phone. In this day of ripoffs, he was certainly a breath of fresh air. We will certainly use him the next time we need electrical work done.

They showed up with all the parts and tools that they needed, completed the job, cleaned up after themselves, and were finished in less than a half hour. Good work, well done. Fast and thorough.

As always, I secure several bids for any job, and Barney's was the most reasonable. Of the three bids, another electrician was about 600 dollars higher than Barney, and Rockwall Electric charged me 70 dollars and gave me an estimate for four thousand six hundred dollars for exactly the same work (I made a list I quote to each bidder). Well, any fool alive can make the decision to go with the lower bid, but it was more than that to me. Barney is just a down to earth guy, and his sidekick completes the pair - two dedicated guys serious about what they do and doing it right. They made arrangements for the trenching and ensured it took place the same day they laid the conduit and ran the lines, and the trench was filled in before the end of the day. Given the rains here lately, that took coordination. And the best part? It all worked the first time. Not many of the providers I have gotten from Angies list perform as expected the first time around. This one did.

Barney's has done work for us before. After our previous experiences with Barney's there was no question as to who to call when we needed this work. Barney responded same day we called and came out for estimate. Price was great and Barney's started the work three days later. A truly professional job and done within the agreed upon time. Great crew, great service, great price. Great experience. We would certainly recommend Barney's to everyone.

He responded quickly, figured out the problem and had the repair done, all within 5 minutes. He did an excellent job and knew what he was doing. We had no problem with him. We went through Angie's list or the cost would have been $239.00. We were thankful for the $39.00 discount, but in the future we will check with friends and see if we can save money. We are retired and need to spend our money wisely.

Barney called back promptly and was at my house the same day. He resolved my issues quickly. Very knowledgeable. This was a great service experience. I will definitely call Barney for future electrical work.

I sent an email on Sunday explaining my pool equipment power supply was out. Received a reply email shortly - on Sunday - that he would call Monday. He called 7:30 AM Monday and was at the house by 8. Confirmed the CB was fried. After repair if that, using a third person, performed reset and showed me pump motor problem. I asked for some quotes on optional work. Quotes provided in two days. Not sure if prices are high or not, but will definitely consider Barneys if we go forward on projects. Visit and repair was $200 which was expected for any electrician to just come out.

He showed up after one of his earlier call without an actual scheduled time. He looked around, quickly found the circuit breaker that had tripped. The guy spent a maximum of 20 minutes at my house and then charged me $175 for resetting a tripped circuit breaker. I felt like I had just been ravaged, and although I do have a few choice words for this guy, I hope that folks just take my advice and stay away from this scam.

It went great. Very professional and efficient. Don't really know if it's a good price or not. Never had this kind of work done before.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Barney and the professional service he provides! We have used Barney for the past 15 years and he has made electrical repairs as well as done new installations at our home. Today I am enjoying new recessed lighting in my master bedroom closet after Barney and Brian installed new fixtures on Monday. As always, Barney was prompt, efficient, and provided helpful information/guidance about our electrical needs. : )

Barney called me on Sunday to find out what the problem was. Asked me to fill out a work order which I did. He called Monday morning, as requested, and he and his helper were at the house by 10:30 that morning to take care of the problem. He even fixed the fluorescent light in the kitchen that I hadn't told him about until they were here. They worked quickly, professionally and carefully and completed all the work in about an hour. I think their charge was very fair for all the work they did.

They were very prompt and I haven't had any issues with them.

From start to finish Barney's Electric did a great job. Barney met me at my house to give me a quote for service and I scheduled him to come out the next week. Barney and his crew showed up on time, went right to work, and got the job done in less time than we had discussed. I work by the motto to underpromise and overdeliver and Barney did exactly that!

Barney's Clectric rewired my kitchen for a remodel. He added six recessed lights and replaced wires where needed. Barney is very prompt and professional. I had to call him to return after the cabinets were installed to move a light and he responded immediately and fixed the problem. I would recommend Barney's Electric for any electrical needs.

He phoned and was able to come a day earlier than my appointment, which I appreciated. He & his assistant needed to assemble my new fixture which wasn't easy, but the task was accomplished and the result was very nice.

He initially asked to call me back, but I touched base in the morning. Not a great start, but he was respectful and it was an honest mistake. After sharing with him my situation, he talked me through the process and explained how I could instead of hard wiring, I could attach a "pig tail" to the wiring and simply plug it in like any other electrical device. Certainly something he didn't have to tell me. I appreciate it when a vendor puts your needs first, even if it means less work for them. He was a good guy who is very knowledgeable and takes care of his customers. I would recommend him,

Two hours before Barney's was to arrive, I received a phone call from Barney saying that On the Border needed him to fix an electric panel...and obviously that revenue would be greater than a kitchen light install, therefore Barney was not going to arrive for his appointment. Unfortunately, this is the day before Thanksgiving and Barney's suggestion to call someone else to complete the work is not likely as it is nearly impossible to find same day availability. So despite the fact that we set the appointment with Barney last week, going into the Holidays we are left with a large light kit sitting in the dining room. Safe to say my lighting and wiring projects on my list WILL NOT be completed through Barney's Electric and I'd recommend everyone do what Barney suggested and "call someone else".

I left a message at the business and the owner returned my call within a half an hour. That hardly ever happens!! We received a very reasonable estimate for the work we wanted done. He came out the next week with a helper and did an excellent job in a surprisingly short time. We were very pleased with the whole experience and will definitely use Barney's again for our electrical needs!

In both of my experiences with Barney, he has been very punctual, friendly and professional.

Barney was willing to give me a quote over the phone. Most places would not even give a range of costs without sending a serviceman out for a $75 charge just to give a quote. Barney arrived on time (even a little early), did the job and was very courteous. I would use him again.
