Evan and Tom have been amazing to work with! I have now used their services on numerous homes for myself and my family. They are thorough and have always provided exceptional service. I have recommended All Mold Pro to everyone who has ever had any concerns with mold in their home. They were not the first company that I used for mold assessments, but they are now the ONLY ones I will use for them going forward. Highly recommend!!!
Description of Work: After having a previous home taken to the studs due to mold, I have had every “new” home tested as a precaution prior to closing on the home for myself or my family members.

Can I post less than 1 star? Worst experience with a contractor that I've ever had. Tom Bieger came to do a post remediation verification and failed to address multiple areas of concern within my home. He is required by TDLR regulations to visually and procedurally inspect the home after remediation has been completed. He failed to honor these two requirements. Visually he did not see that an entire room was not cleaned according to the inspection report protocols, wall cavities throughout the home were still showing signs of dust and debris left over from demo, at least 5 areas where water damaged and wood rot were overlooked but he still cleared the home to be encapsulated when the remediation protocol called for areas like this to be removed. At least 2 of the rotted wood areas tested positive for mold growth when a second assessor came out to check his poor workmanship. He has refused to acknowledge his poor assessment and stands by his decision to allow the remediation company to move forward with the next steps of the project when the protocols in the inspection report were not executed properly. Even the remediation company said they should have never been given the all clear to encapsulate. Never hire this company to do any work on your home. They want to put bandaids on problems and cover everything up so clearance can be achieved. If you've had All Mold Pro do work on your home, get a second opinion. They most likely missed something and you and your family are still at risk. They refuse to own their mistakes and think they did the job they were hired to do. If you have mold issues, get educated because these guys will feed you all kinds of BS that sounds great but it's violating TDLR criteria and guidelines.

We called Tom, at the recommendation of the mold remediation company that we used. He was great! So professional, knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring. Reading all of the scary black mold stories on the internet, had me very concerned, but Tom was able to explain in detail which kind of molds existed in our house, how toxic/non toxic they were, and how each air cleaner, worked etc. He was super detailed and put our nerves at ease, and saved us a bundle in money, time, and inconvenience of moving to a hotel during the remediation process. He was able to explain, that it was safe to stay, because of the types of mold that existed, that we weren't putting our family in harms way. We couldn't have been more fortunate than to have had Tom recommended to us and to have been able to work with him.
Description of Work: Mold testing and then a 2nd test to mold test for clearance after a mold remediation had taken place.

He did a test in the bedroom, the bathroom, and outside. The second test he added another bedroom. They declared it clean after the second test. The remediation company moved boxes and dumped it into the other room as well as the garage, I have been working on the garage for two months now to bring things in the house. We thought we would be mold free again, we were then told to do more tests for mold because I woke up sick as a dog for mold allergy symptoms. We ran an air purifier before he came out again, said it was fine. Now since then I have woke up again with my nose clogged, itchy skin, and weird taste in my mouth. I asked what the have done with the air ducts, I have told them twice that the bedroom is very hot with the door closed and it filled up with the mold again. He said the bedroom was off of the charts for the first test, said that they could not get a final number. He said nothing about cleaning the air ducts. Twice since then I have been very sick, twice now it has been mold. I am allergic to it, I know what my mold allergies are. I believe that this guys did not do his tests right. The remediation company told me to contact All Mold Pro again, we have had the same symptoms when it gets really hot and the air conditioner kicks in and cools the place. I cannot afford any more, I have gone through too much money already after having been told one thing after another. He got the right idea that it was the mold, but the fact that he ignored me when I told him the remediation company did not change the air ducts, that they were clean, to save me money. I have noticed that I still get the mold system when I have the air filter on constantly. I do not feel like he did a complete and full job. With these kind of numbers, I am surprised that he did not check underneath the windows and in the other bathroom for mold as well. I'm thinking he just did not check the other areas of the house, especially the other bedroom give the enormous amount of mold. You would think he would've checked other areas extensively instead of just fogging the place and cleaning rhe carpet outside of the bathroom. He just did not do a thorough job.
Description of Work: Find out if mold was in the house, and what kind, as well as wrote up a mold remediation company.

Response from All Mold Pro
The client requested a mold assessment to identify mold in her home that may affect the indoor air quality and require remediation. The assessment was performed according to industry standards, mold issues were identified and a remediation protocol was developed to properly remove the mold and return the indoor air to normal levels. All accessible areas were inspected and thermal scans were performed of all accessible walls, cabinets, etc. Contents are not part of a standard assessment unless requested and paid for. A licensed mold remediation company performed the remediation. After visual, procedural and analytical verification; clearance was achieved according to state and industry standards. Mold spores are ubiquitous so this does not mean “mold free”; only returned to a normal indoor levels. Response to comments made by claimant: HVAC duct replacement was not required to achieve clearance however the client could have replaced them if she desired. Fogging was NOT in the protocol. All exposed flooring was required and was HEPA vacuumed. One month or so after clearance the client requested additional air samples because she was experiencing symptoms; these samples also showed indoor airborne fungal spore types and concentrations to be normal. During the assessment she explained that the symptoms occurred as she brought boxes in from the garage and went through them; I explained to her that the items in the boxes may have latent spores on them and if disturbed they would become airborne. (this may be where her symptoms come from) The complaint is not clear why mold “it” was found in a bedroom wall but if someone pulled a wall cavity sample; they would find mold because they are pulling air from a very confined space; exterior wall cavities are open to the outside for drainage so they pull spores from the outside air along with common mold found on raw lumber. Minor mold activity in wall cavities is common and rarely has the ability to affect indoor air. Our air samples have been analyzed by an independent laboratory and the results are available for viewing.
