First, the positive. The two times (out of about 7 or 8) that the owner DID call us back, he was extremely nice and apologetic for the damage that was done to our property. We wanted to set up a weekly service, and they came to perform the first mowing within a week. When I husband got home from work, the wireless fence we had installed for our dogs and the flags to mark the wire were completely shredded. Not only did the mowers shred the flags, they cut the wire. I'm not sure what they thought they were mowing over - actually, I don't think they cared or took the time to look. My husband called immediately - voice box was full. Called again the next day and left a message. Got a return call the day after that - owner said he was extremely sorry and if we would buy the materials, he would take it off our bill and have his employees come back to install the fence to "teach them some responsibility". We weren't sure how that would go, but my husband bought the materials and called him back. Mailbox full again. Called again and left a message. And again. And again. Finally left a message that if we didn't hear from him we would assume he didn't want the business. That was a week ago and he never called back - I suppose that was our answer.
