They were quick and punctual. The pergola is beautiful, better than I thought. We love it! It is perhaps a little pricier than I thought it would be, but the quality is there.

Everyone from Mr. Reed to the onsite guys were amazing! Installation went smooth and on time. Am confident that I have a good product. Know this is short and sweet, but that's how "easy" they made the process for me. Any concerns I had during the installation were immediately addressed by Mr. Reed. They are now my "go to company" for fencing.

I got bids from 5 of the highest rated fence companies on Angie's List. Two, I ruled out right away based upon details in their estimates and negative reviews read elsewhere. They all provided written estimates with varying degrees of detail as to what labor and materials they proposed, each with a place to "sign here" if we wanted to enter into that contract with them. Shane Reed's estimate was the most detailed, however, after carefully reviewing and comparing all of them, I realized that they all were very different...many of the smaller details missing, so no way to really compare without asking the remaining 3 to answer the same list of about 20 questions! Reed Fence & Deck came out on top again. Shane Reed was very professional every time we talked, and readily available during the fence build when I would call him because I'd come up with even another question! He came by and checked on the job several times. His crew was prompt every day, and worked hard in the brutally cold weather last week to complete my fence. They even hauled off a big pile of shrub trimmings that was in the middle of our backyard when they started the job! Bottom line...I feel like I definitely made the right decision choosing Reed Fence & Deck for my new fence install, would hire them again, and have already given their name to a friend who plans to have his fence replaced soon.

Everything has gone great so far! All my contact with Shane has been very professional and timely. When he came out to do the estimate he was very clear with me about what they would be doing - and then when his guys came to do the fence, they did exactly what we had talked about. The guys who came to put in the fence were very professional, polite, and careful with my property. They did a great job and built me a beautiful fence and then cleaned up after themselves perfectly - no nails or debris left for my dog to hurt himself on. I have nothing but nice things to say about the whole experience. The only remaining part is for a crew to come back and seal the fence, which needs to wait a few weeks after the fence it up before it can be done. But with as smoothly as the removal of the old fence and building of the new one has gone, I have no reason to believe that the sealing portion will be anything but pain-free as well.

All aspects of project were excellent - set up project, install fence, and billing. Top notch product and top notch service.

From start to finish, everything went well. It took three days and the men worked really hard! They are very professional, and Mr. Reed came by periodically to check on the work. He treats his workers with great respect and they obviously like working for him. Even my neighbor, not the one who just got a fence, came by to say how nice the men were! They cleaned up and even removed some heavy railroad ties for me, all at a price more than $1500 less than the other two companies I received estimates from! He built the back of the fence to feet, then stepped it down to the front so it would not block out the sky on the sides, but gives me privacy at the back alley! Then he finished the top with 3 tiers of border. I had a problem with the latch on the gate, the ground must have shifted in the drought, but he sent someone right over to fix it at no charge! I can't say enough great things about this company!

The crew showed up on time and got right to work. They worked quickly and had the project completed in 2 days. The owner came back after the project was complete to make sure we were happy with their work. He is a very nice guy and did everything he said he would do.

I went with a lower bid and didn't use Reed Fence and Desk on this project. I decision I still regret. If I could go back in time I would hire them.

I called several fence companies and got surprisingly few return calls. Shane Reed called and was most helpful and acommodating considering the scale of this job. They were on time, really good at what they do and the yard was clean and neat when they were done. We are totally pleased with Reed Fence and give them a hearty recommendation to everyone. I found Shane Reed to be prompt and thorough. His crewmen are professional, always wearing a Reed shirt. They picked up after themselves every day. You couldn't tell they had been there from trash left laying or blowing around. No loud radio, either. The work completed was top quality and showed a high interest in giving me a quality product.

They did everything as promised and it worked out great. I think their pricing was average. They were very professional and met all their deadlines.

I guess I'm from a place where some services seem to cost less. I was a bit shocked at the price quoted. I checked with my neighbors and found that the price was actually very competitive with other fence companies, however. I decided to build the fence myself and was able to complete for less than 2300.00. I feel that the gate I built can compete with the best of them too. I suppose it all depends on whether you want to take the time (and effort) to do it yourself or not.

They were great. I got 2 bids and they came up with the best bid. They were good. The price was reasonable.

They were awesome. They did a great job. Their bid came in as the lowest of the three bids that I got. I did not have a single dislike about them. They came out, gave me an estimate and talked me through how the fence would be constructed because there was a retaining wall involved. They talked to me about how they would pre-stain the wood that was actually stained when they built the fence. So, all in all, I was very satisfied with them.

They are absolutely wonderful people and a wonderful group. Work was wonderful too. I don't know what else I could tell you other then wonderful! They did a really good job. They worked well with us. One of owners, Shane Reed, came out and he is the one I worked with and he was incredible.

We worked with Shane Reed, who was very professional, and always punctual with our appointments. He worked with us to replace the old fence around our backyard. There was considerable shrubbery between our pool and the fence, which created a potential issue in turning the fence around. Shane spent considerable time evaluating and mapping the property. Because of his attention to detail, he was able to set the posts on the outside, bringing the fence in a few inches, and was able to not destroy the landscaping. His crew started the work on Monday and were complete by Thursday, and they picked up completely! The neighbors commented they had never seen a harder working crew. The staining was done about 4 weeks later, and looks great! The fence includes two gates, and one of the planks cracked vertically where the gate latch was attached, and Shane had his crew out within a week to replace and stain it exactly. Great service, and I would highly recommend Reed Fence & Deck Company.

Shane came out to do our estimate. He was friendly and informative. We discussed options based within our budget and needs. He provided a reasonable estimate and did not try to sell us more than we could afford or need. He was willing to discuss different options within our budget. His estimate included detailed information for us to make our decision. When we contacted Shane to select his company, he scheduled a time that worked for us to sign the contract. It took several weeks to install due to previous jobs and the rain storms we had. Work began when scheduled and was completed in 3 days (with a rain delay in the middle). When I arrived home on the last day, the workman were inspecting their own work and fixing any nails that might need an additional hammer after the nail gun. They cleaned up their supplies and mess. The fence is great and looks very well done! We are very happy and have already given Reed Fence's name to several friends.

Shane was very professional and knowledgeable on fencing recommendations and options for fences. I saved about $400 going with his recommendations. I had uneven fence, they installed a tired section fence, put in retaining boards, and leveled the new fence so the height was even on top, then tired fence to insure a minimum of a 6ft height. Shane was on time for all scheduled appointments, answered my phone calls and when I left him a message responded in a reasonable amount of time. He worked with me on removing the fence so that the city could pick it up on my bulk trash day, but his crew hauled it away my old fence at to extra charge. They finished installing the fence ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Shane Reed and if I have a need to put in another fence, his company will be putting it in for me.

Shane was great through the entire process. I had interviewed over 20 companies before I settled on Reed Fence. Shane was always checking up on the process to see when I was ready to proceed with the fencing project. Shane was not the most expensive or the cheapest, but I found someone that I could truly work with to really develop the space correctly. I really appreciate Shane taking the time to explain everything he was doing and he communicated each step of the project expertly every step of the way.
