Jack called before arriving and came at the scheduled time. He was honest enough to tell me that the fireplace did not need any work...it was fine. That gave me peace of mind even though I paid for it but Jack was nice enough to offer a discount for a future service.

I bought a promotion from Angies List to secure my fireplace. Jack came out and gave me necessary information concerning my gas rigged fireplace. He hooked up the vacuum system and went to the roof to scrub/blow out. His tips and recommendations are panning out, and I really appreciate all the good work. Since we just moved into our home this past summer, we needed to have the chimney inspected and cleaned before we possibly used it for the upcoming winter. Jack was professional and efficient, and provided information and estimates for items possibly needed in the future. We did burn wood once so far during this mild SA winter and there were no issues.

The technician looked into my chimney, said everything looked fine, brushed around a little inside the chimney and left. They might be great, I don't know, I don't have any opinion, since I didn't really have any problem. I was happy that the technician said everything was Ok, and I didn't need any additional services.

This company provided chimney sweep services for me. They typically do all of their work from the firebox, but I had a feeling that a deeper cleaning was needed, so I got on the roof and showed him that the firebox approach alone was not adequate. He then did further cleaning from the roof, and then cleaned up the firebox again. It took a little more diligence than an average homeowner might have given, but in the end, I got a thorough job at a good price.

These folks were on time and extremely professional. They first came in set up to ensure that as they were cleaning my chimney that there would be no mess. After cleaning my chimney, the technician suggested that I replace my gas pipe. There was no hard sell, but he explained that my pipe was corroded and could be a fire hazard. So I did the chimney cleaning and the replaced the pipe. My fireplace is drawing properly again and we've been able to enjoy our fireplace worry free again! I'd definitely recommend this company!

I bought an Angies List Big Deal at the listed price. The service was great. Scheduling was quick, easy, and there were many available spots. The service tech arrived on time and quickly got to work. He vacuumed out the chimney and inspected it for any damage. I had purchased the home over the summer, so I had not used the chimney yet. He did a visual inspection of the exterior of the chimney and pointed out some cosmetic issues that could be addressed later. The chimney damper sticks and he showed me how to use it without worry. It was a great experience. I would definitely call them again for service.

The technician was on time and went to work right away. Completed the job efficiently and explained the entire process. He seemed very knowledgeable and thorough.

He came late because the direct route he thought he could take from his last job was over a lake that he had to go around (i.e. not familiar with this area), but he called and, even though it was past 5:00, he came out and did the job. He was very thorough, cleaned up nicely after and, when I asked him if we should have this done very year, he said that, as often as we use the fireplace, every 3 years would be enough. Loved his honesty!

It was a pleasure meeting and using C&W for cleaning and repairing our chimney. They were here when they said they would be and performed exceptional work. I highly reccomened anyone to call them when you're in need for keeping your chimney clean and safe to use.

I bought an Angie's coupon for $99.00 for a chimney cleaning and inspection, and asked that they give me an estimate to remove a previously installed propane conversion system. When Ben examined the chimney and inspected everything, he said the chimney did not need any cleaning. He pointed out a couple of things I'll need to address at some point but not now and said no work was needed. I asked if he could apply a portion of the coupon cost (the "cleaning" part) to removing the conversion. He did so, removing the propane tanks and capping of the gas line at no additional cost. I would definitely call them again.

This was a scheduled follow up to the first visit. As before Jack was beyond professional. He worked on my schedule and not his. He completed the work in a timely manner and before he left, he kindly made sure that I knew how to use the gas lighter properly and reviewed a few safety measures. This company goes the extra few steps it takes to not only provide a service but provide as well a personal touch. This is a rare gift in our fast paced, get 'er done society. I will be using this company exclusively for this type of serve and highly recommend them to others. Blessings!

I had not used my fireplace for a number of years simply because I didn't think is was safe. Paul cleaned and inspected the chimney. My wife was at home when he came and she thought he was vary professional and she now has confidence in having a fire in the fireplace. We will not wait to have the chimney cleaned again. Well done.

The person doing work called ahead and we found that we had different appointment dates in our calendars. We agreed a new date, no worries, and he showed as expected. Did work, didn't make a mess, gave advice on when next cleaning was needed. All around great experience.

I called the office and made the appointment. They called before they arrived to let me know they were on their way. The gentalman (I forgot his name) came in assessed the area...he had to move some furniture...then brought in his equipment...laid out drop cloth and went to work. He found a nest and cleaned the chimney and I barely knew he was there.

I had them sweep 2 chimneys. One chimney needs some additional work needed but I’ve hadn’t had it done yet. They did miss my first appointment and I had to reschedule.

It went well and we were pleased with this company.
