He did a good inspection, didn't try to sell us anything and we were pleased. He called and asked if he could come early and arrived looking professional and was very knowledgeable.

He was on time and very personable. I would call on them again.

Hiram arrived a couple of hours early, which was fine with us. He was very friendly and professional, and did a thorough job cleaning the chimney, which was the original reason for the call. He made several suggestions about our chimney, which I figured would need to be done, so he went ahead and did the job, along with Carlos, who arrived a little later. I felt that Hiram was being honest with us, and that's very important, since we're going to have to spend more money getting our house ready to sell, and we need to watch our pennies. I now feel that the chimney is a lot safer, and will pass inspection. I would definitely use this company again.

They recommended some repairs that after a 2nd opinion were not needed (flue replacement). The other service I called was easily able to unstick my existing flue.

All went well. The inspection uncovered some issues, but indicated the chimney was structurally sound and safe to use. I thought the repairs they suggested were very expensive and realize many of these Angie's Deals are offered as "loss leaders" in the hope of generating other work at more profitable rates. This is off-putting at times.

It was great. They answered my call, even though I called right before New Year's. They were booked but wanted us to enjoy our fireplace at New Year's Eve so they came out at night and cleaned the whole thing out. The tech was super nice and thorough and left me some cleaner firestarters to use the next several times I start the fire!

Normally, for rodent control, they'd want to seal the space, but my ceiling doesn't give access. All anyone can do is to set traps and deodorize. I called Friday and got an immediate answer. We agreed on a Saturday appointment. He came by, agreed it was rats, went to a hardware store for rattraps, and set them. He explained things, like how he baits them and how long it lasts (crunch peanut butter, maybe 3 months). I'll ask them to deodorize after a while trying to catch critters. The price for trapping matches ABC's price. He left his personal cell number. So it's just a straightforward job for a customer who's simply squeamish. But it was quick and friendly service.

Josh did an excellent job. He cleaned up and gave me advice on how frequently this work needs to be done and why. I have NEVER had my dryer vent cleaned and now I know I need to do it every 5 to 7 years. I'm happy I got the work done!

Quick and concise inspection of the chimney. Pointed out where the cap was rusted and treated for a nominal fee.

They did recommend we get a new grill because it was starting to disintegrate. The price they quoted us for the grill was a lot more expensive than what my husband bought online. They were late. After 40 minutes, I called the office and they were trying to get a hold of the service person who was supposed to come out, they finally did. They did call me back, apologized and let me know that he would be here between a certain time. He was even a little bit later than that particular time window. He did get here, he was slightly on the unprofessional side. He just kind of blew me off when I said he was supposed to be here at a certain time but he did apologize. I thought the price was reasonable. We would probably not use them again.

He showed up on time and got right to work. As he went along he pointed out a few things. When up on the roof he took pictures of what he was looking at to explain his recommendations. When cleaning out the chimney he was careful to lay down a cover over the hearth and floor to protect the are. He cleaned up quickly and neatly. I asked for a quote on a gas log fireplace, which was provided, and he was on his way. All in all it was a very smooth, very good experience.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was fine. They recommended that we have a new chimney cap put on and to have the inside of the chimney cleaned because it had calcium deposits. We were pretty happy with the service. We will probably use them again if we need to.

Young Man was on time and very good at keeping us informed of what is needed and when he would be arriving was pleased with the service. Would use them again. The house had been vacant before we bought for a while. The attic was checked for squirrels, mice etc. Found nothing but was given a helpful list of hints on how to discourage them.

Jack is a best in class provider whose attention to detail made the difference with this project. His understanding of the options and the manner in which he approached each component allowed us to uncover all of the necessary aspects of the fix before we decided on a specific path. Ben was very friendly and very professional. He came out to our house to preform a chimney sweep from a coupon we had purchased on Angie's List. At that time, I had him quote us a chimney cap too. Ben did a great job on installing the chimney cap. The turn around was quick from the time the order was placed to the install.

Provider was punctual and professional and performed job quickly. Can only assume job was done thoroughly.

He eventually said that he would take what I paid for the Deal off of the price to clean the fireplace and put in new embers. I don’t think they put in enough embers in because you can see the gas pipes in the back and the flame is only off to one corner.

Punctual, explained all work carefully, very clean and professional. Would definitely use again.

I took advantage of an Angie's List big deal to have my chimney swept for $89. They promptly called me to schedule an appointment (probably a good thing, since I'll leave this kind of thing unscheduled for months!). They showed up as promised (calling just before coming) and did the work. The tech was very friendly and personable. As part of the inspection, he took pictures of my chimney cap to show me that it was beginning to rust. After the cleaning, he discussed options with me (at various price points) for adding a wildlife guard to my chimney, and discussed the rusting cap. All of that discussion was informational and low-pressure, which I really appreciated. I originally turned it all down, but got to thinking about the rusting cap (and my disinclination to get up on the second story of my house to fix it myself) and quickly gave him a call on his cell phone. He quite happily returned, immediately, and treated the rusting cap for a reasonable price.

Fast, courteous service. Very pleased.
