Very quick! He pulled up and unloaded his tarp, wet/dry vac and tools and before I could get inside to see what he was doing he was finished.

Jack showed up on time. Actually, called earlier in the day to see if I wanted him to come at the appointment time or earlier. I asked him to come earlier, which worked out much better for me. He was clean, and neat. I guess I expected him to look like Dick VanDyke in Mary Poppins....lol. He inspected everything inside and out. Cleaned the flue and vacuumed up all the debris. Very quick. Very neat. Very nice. I highly recommend using Chimney & Wildlife Specialists to clean your chimney. Oh.....and I used the coupon!

We bought a $99 package for cleaning the chimney. They gave us credit for that, and they are very good at upselling. We're pleased with the chimney cap. It looks nice and keeps the birds out. And we did need the cap. Their customer service is excellent and they follow up. Prompt, pleasant and professional.

The two man team was fast and efficient. They were careful not to get soot in the living room. I expected comments on the fire brick as the chimney is about 40 years old, but their inspection showed that everything was OK.

The young man who came and did the inspection was very thorough and professional. He explained, in detail and with drawings, what he saw and found in our chimneys during his inspections. He also made sure that the chimney covers were clean and secure. He also inspected the chimney flues to be sure they were sealing and working properly. I was very satisfied with his work especially since he confirmed we didn't have any issues. It was money well spent for peace of mind. Thanks!

He was awesome. He made some recommendations, but we did not purchase it at the time. He was on time and very thorough in the work and the inspection. He told me some things that needed to be done. I would use him again.

It went very well. He was very nice and professional. He did the work and was gone in a reasonable amount of time. We are very pleased with the work and the person doing the work. Only, one thing. I was not aware he would be using spray can to paint inside of fire box. The smell was not good for a while. I had to open doors and windows to ventilate the house. But it only took a little while to clear the air of the smell. I would recommend they use some other product. That would be better for the health of their customers.

He called to let us know that he was running late on the first appointment. I found him easy to communicate with, and he explained everything that he was doing. He made the other appointments on time and and was professional during the job. We are satisfied with the job that he did for us and would use this company again

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We were very pleased. They were knowledgeable and they understood what we wanted. They didn't push services but they offered other services. They cleaned up very well after themselves. They exceeded our expectations. We spent more than the Deal because we had them do a cover as well. It was very well priced and it was reasonable. They did what we wanted for the $89 deal and then we had more things done.

My experience was great from start to finish. I called Chimney and Wildlife Specialists on Friday afternoon to use my Angie's LIst Deal, and they sent someone out Saturday afternoon. Ben was to arrive between 3:00 and 5:00 pm, and he arrived promptly at 3:00. He went on the roof to check the chimney. He showed me a picture of the cracked mortar on the crown and explained how it was water damage that could be remedied with a mortar overlay. He then came inside to clean the chimney base and shelf. The flue and sides didn't need any cleaning. He explained so much to me, which I really appreciate, especially about water damage and the importance of chimney caps. I knew I wanted a chimney cap to keep critters out, but I wasn't aware of the water damage factor. He priced the installation of a mortar crown overlay and installment of a chimney cap for me ($550.00) and explained how it would be installed. He also checked my garage for rats and gave me good tips for getting rid of them, even an couple of traps! He took time to show me how to set the traps without injuring myself. The whole process took about 40 minutes, and Ben was friendly, patient, and professional. I am very, very pleased with C &W.

When the service provider came to our house he asked a little bit about why we were having our chimney cleaned. I told him I was concerned that we may have a bird's nest at the top of the chimney and I wanted it cleaned prior to use during the winter. He checked it out and asked how often we'd used the fire place - rarely. He advised cleaning wasn't necessary, but he'd check for the animals and call it even. (The 'deal' advised that animal removal would be an additional charge). He confirmed that all would be okay for me to use the chimney, but saw there was an opening that should be caulked and he took care of that without any additional charge. Nice guy, great service!

It went very well. He totally cleaned up what little mess there was and was fun to talk to. I will use this company again.

First visit:He was late due to a misunderstanding but eventually showed. Was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and what he found (took pictures with his phone to show me areas of concern). Gave me an estimate of repair costs to fix chimney and fireplace. He told me our current chimney cap was hanging on by a thread and he was right. About a month later is blew off on a very windy day. After getting 3 estimates, hired them for the repair (their estimate was in the middle), but I had really liked the technician (Ben). Second visit was great. Took a couple hours to do the repair. It looks great. He was neat and cleaned up everything when he was finished. I am not able to get on the roof to inspect the work, but I feel confident the job was done right. I will definitely use them in the future for chimney sweeping services. I trust I will not have any wasps or critters and won't need any further repair for many years to come.

Gentleman arrived on time and conducted himself very professionally and in a friendly manner. He took the time to ensure that the job was done completely and to my satisfaction. He was very respectful of the residence, making sure that all dirt, etc. was not brought in. I would gladly use this company again and have recommended them to others.

Jack then wrote up an estimate for all the things he found but didn't necessarily need to do at this time. They were things to help efficiency to fire safety and water proofing. He took the time to explain everything to me that he found.

I purchased a coupon for an inspection/evaluation for $89 in November '12. I made an appointment to install a cap so birds would not build nests in the chimney. They came out promptly, but did not have a ladder to inspect the top of the chimney and take measurements for the cap. Still, they "inspected" from the hearth, and that absorbed the $89 coupon, valued at $215. They would have to come out with a ladder to take measurements for the cap, and then fabricate and install the cap. It took a couple of months, but they did a good job.
