Great Job showed me how the system worked

I took off work Friday afternoon to avoid the frustrations that sometimes happen when my female partner attempts to supervise construction and/or repair projects. The worker arrived late after attempting to reschedule at the last minute. He changed his plan of attack to suit the reduced amount of time he had before 5:00 p.m. instead of to meet my needs or the bid. He decided to repair the damaged system and did apparently succeed in doing that and capping off the bubbler line previously servicing a small oak tree that was cut when that tree was removed and the fruit trees added. The repairs should significantly reduce my water bill, but leave my system only partially usable. The upper pop-ups are still in the vegetable beds, covered by dirt and thus unusable. For now, I have tentatively decided to cobble together something for the vegetable beds and fruit trees using a DIY drip irrigation kit off the hose bib and including a timer. I will consider a more permanent fix when the growing season is over and when the demand for sprinkler system work is lower. I contacted Landpro about my frustrations and their response was that they saved me money over their bid. They seemed deaf to my frustration that they didn’t fix several of the things that the bid to re-work the entire backyard would have fixed. The upper pop-ups are still in the vegetable beds, covered by dirt and thus unusable. A valve and other lines are still within the vegetable bed and subject to damage as the beds are worked. There is still no irrigation for the trees or the vegetable beds. They did renew their offer to run a new zone to handle the provide drip irrigation for the vegetable beds and the fruit trees for $900-950. In hindsight we should have rescheduled when they were going to be more than an hour late. I should have asked questions when only one guy arrived with no helpers. I should have supervised more carefully, but I mostly just let the professional do his thing. We had discussed my needs and I assumed he was working towards resolving those needs. Instead he was thinking about how to do something quickly and get on with his weekend. I have mixed feeling about the experience. I believe that the worker was competent to handle the job, but took a shortcut to end his workday at 5:00 p.m. instead of paying attention to my needs. When contacted about my frustrations, his boss did not offer to take any action to resolve my concerns and said they saved me money. I’m not sure I would deal with these guys again.

Great job by a knowledgeable irrigation specialist. Would definitely recommend and hire again!

After replacing the first valve, he discovered another, and another. I had him come back and replace them all. Not sure if that was needed though.

The tech came an hour late on March 18th and took a look and said he had another job (apparently more important) and said he would come back in a week (March 25th) and take a better look. He left a rough estimate and again, showed up nearly an hour late on the second appointment. He and a helper went around the yard and in :15 minutes reported it was complete. I don't know exactly what he did but several of the heads are still spraying off into space so I don't really know if he did anything. Overall, I don't really know if I got my moneys worth or not.

Showed up on time, explained everything I needed to know about my system.

Technician was very thorough, a hard worker and performed the needed alignments and repairs.

Found the problem, fized valve, and replaced couple sprinkler heads, halped locate other valve locations.

Ok They did what they said they were supposed to do under the promotion. I thought adjusting the sprinklers was included but they said the adjustment needed cost extra. I did not have it done.

Ok, but I requested a quote for additional work. No response.

The tech flushed the lines, adjusted the emitters, and repaired a break and tear in the line. One minor problem was discovered when zone 4 came on Sunday morning and the spray wet half the back porch decking. Chris responded promptly Monday morning and sent Jose to adjust the zone. Works perfectly now.

Tune up was done, a few heads were replaced and/or adjusted. The most disappointing part was that the technician was over 2 hours late. When I called the owner, he said the technician was behind. I never received another phone call letting me know what time he would be coming. My husband who works nights, had to get up early to be ready for the appointment at 11, only to find out the technician would not arrive until about 1:30pm. The work, overall, was done well, so I don't have any complaints about the service itself.

Estimates were provided for each problem. One to diagnose and repair the dead zone; the other to replace all the sprinkler heads to "low pressure" heads. However, the tech (Dexter) suggested I shouldn't need new heads; my system as is should not be having pressure problems. I had them follow up on the dead zone issue, and diagnosed the pressure issue using a $10.00 pressure gauge, which showed the pressure was low throughout my entire house, not just the sprinkler system. Repairing the dead zone (caused by damaged wire), Dexter ran into issues that caused him to spend more hours than expected, and he had to leave to get add'l tools to complete the repair. Running a new line involved locating conduit running under the driveway.... However, he did not charge for the extra hours, nor more than the original estimate. I will use them again for future needs, and will ask for Dexter again. Honest and dependable, IMO.

After ordering, i didn't hear from them and had to call a few times to get on the schedule. But not unpleasant, people get busy. Rep showed up and walked me through everything in detail, seemed very knowledgeable and did good work. bill for labor on parts installed seemed a little high. Would do business again

Great - repositioned some sprinkler heads, adjusting watering times, and replaced a leaking head.

Completed tune up and recommended few repairs. Additional charge for parts and labour was very reasonable for the extra work.

Arrived at the stated time and was able to do the repairs right after the inspection so did not have to schedule another appointment.

They evaluated the system and there were quite a few things wrong with it; they suggested that we schedule it for late March or early April and we did. They completed it, did a good job, took care of some things that were broken and then fixed some things - the wires to control the system, the wires were underground and broken in a couple of places - they put new wires in. So everything's working okay now. It was an older system and it had to have some parts replaced and the control wires replaced. There were two of them working almost a day on it. They worked hard, did a good job, and they went home. They responded to both the request for evaluation and the request for work to be done. They put me on their list and got me within just a few days at a time when other people were having the same sort of thing done, so I felt pretty good about it. They were here on time. At one point they had to go either to the shop or an electrical supply place and get a couple of other parts. I wouldn't take that off, because until they did some things, they couldn't determine whether other things needed to be repaired. They did a good job there - punctual. They did what I asked them to do, what they said they would do, and they did it on time.

Replaced some of the outdoor lighting. They did great.
