Description of Work: The technician came and inspected all vents and ducts and came to conclusion that there is minor problem but overall Air Ducts were in good shape. However, he inspected AC coil to be repaired ASAP because insulation was not good and it was leaking cold air. He also gave us estimated on disinfecting Air Ducts, Coil repair etc.

Description of Work: They came out to clean all our air duct but found out that it's pretty clean. But the found other problem. Since my house is old and has air leak, rust, coil. Etc. They explain everything and was not pushy at all. They tell you if you want. You can research and give them a call back if needed.

They arrived on time, but after just a few minutes of looking said they could not perform the cleaning unless we had the entire system cleaned out, due to major mold issue. They quoted approx $1300 ($500 of that for a UV light). We just had the HVAC maintained within the year and there was no mention of mold, at that time (which is where the moisture/mold issues would originate). I rated a C because I'm not sure if this is a legit problem, or an up-sale, so I rated in the middle. Will be getting a second opinion and definitely get the HVAC guy back out to check the system. They did let us know we could get a refund, from Angie's List, if we decided not to use them, which is what we did.

Description of Work: On inspection, the Agent/Consultant informed that the existing insulation met the minimum standard and therefore there was no immediate need for the job. He made other recommendation to address our issue and that was reduction of the heating during summer from the Attic.

Description of Work: I bought a duct / dryer vent cleaning. He said my duct work didn't need cleaning, but for $80 more he could run a sanitizer through the system. He did clean the dryer vent after I reminded him. If the duct work didn't need cleaned he should have just done the sanitizer in place of. This guy was a total salesman.

Description of Work: They called approximately 2 hours ahead of time or more to let me know what time they would arrive. Service Express was very prompt. From the very beginning I saw they would clean the dryer vent for me. The fact they would clean the dryer vent was extremely important to me as I live in a Two Story Townhouse and the dryer is upstairs and vents up to the roof vent and out. Somehow I just knew that in 7 years this duct and dryer vent needed to be cleaned. May I say he went above and beyond what I could have asked for. I was so appreciative of their great service and so polite too.
