Description of Work: I responded to the air duct cleaning special offer on Angie's List. My HAC vents were becoming black around the ducts and the system obviously needed cleaning. It had not been serviced in the 20 years since a new system was installed. It was no surprise to me then when the Service Express manager showed me a photo of the evaporator coils which resembled something the dog dragged in -- probably detritus from reroofing. The crew cleaned that up and resealed/retaped the ducts to eliminate several leaks and cleaned up everything before leaving. Made a huge difference.

Description of Work: I had booked my air duct cleaning for $79. My technicians name was Mike and he was great :)! When the technicians arrived they inspected my air ducts and told me that I actually didn't need the cleaning. When asked why I had asked for the cleaning I told them that I have been having allergy issues so they inspected the plenum near my HVAC unit and found some small amount of mold. They gave me a discount on the normal cleaning price and applied my $79 credit towards the service. They also offered me a discounted resealing service as a bit of preventative maintenance for both HVAC longevity and to prevent excess moisture causing mold to return. Overall it was a very positive experience. Mike answered all of my questions and even let me watch the work they were doing so that I could learn a few maintenance tips that I could do on my own. Mike even let me know about other services I could have done and provided some guidance on whether or not he thought that I really needed them.

Description of Work: I paid for the $74 duct cleaning and of course it wasn't $74. I needed more work than the $74. I used a company previously from Groupon and paid more the Groupon price but the other company did much less work. I was happy with the price for the thorough work this company did. I would of gave all A's but they forgot to clean my dryer vent but I called Service Express and they made me another appointment to come out and complete the job. Mike and his crew did a great job finishing the job. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Description of Work: They cleaned my a/c ducts, including treatment for mold, and installed an ultraviolet light to prevent further mold and mildew. They did a good job overall, and the problem I had been having with mold/mildew being deposited on and around vents has gone away and not come back. They also cleaned and painted the vents - they warned that because of the fast paint-and-reinstall there would be some flaking off - I did not realize the extent of that - flaked still fall off every time we change from a/c to heat.
