Description of Work: We purchased the air duct cleaning thru Angie's list but they found mold so we paid for sanitizing and mold prevention also.

Description of Work: They told me I had mold in my duct and just the cleaning I paid Angie's list for isn't enough. They said I needed to pay cleaning and disinfecting and re- sealing all my duct and vents. We have a baby on the way and mold is scary so I went ahead to do the service. They didn't seal any vents, never ran a camera, and never detected a huge break in my duct. I inspected my attic after and noticed a duct completely disconnected. It was not their fault, it was old and the straps supporting it failed. But they NEVER NOTICED IT, and part of my agreement was to seal everything, as written on my receipt which I will be happy to forward. I contacted them to return and re-seal. They have not yet made the appointment to return despite several attempts. In the end I received no credit for the service I paid Angie's list. As far as I know I still have a duct cleaning due to me. I am very displeased and after this am skeptical about ALL of the Angie's list 'Deals', so far all of them use it as a way to get in my door and up sell something much more expensive. I just paid Home Depot to replace my water heater, despite the available deal on Angie's list for 1/3 the price.

Description of Work: They did a good inspection of the dryer vent and cleaned it as requested. Also suggested that all our ductwork be sterilized and cleaned for maximum comfort and health

Description of Work: Ended up requesting refund and contractor was totally compliant. I asked for a refund because the deal was falsely advertised. It says 80% off service but the 80% is already only taken off for the first $500. You pay full price beyond the $500. And you have to pay the difference or there's no deal; you can't just purchase $500 worth of insulation for $99 only. If it's $1,300, you pay $1,300-$500=$800. This wasn't disclosed in my opinion.

Description of Work: The actual service they provided was great. The only reason why I would not use them again is because the two guys who came were bickering the ENTIRE TIME they were in my house. The guy who seemed like the boss or authority figure was extremely rude to the other employee. It was very awkward to have to hear that for about an hour. It seemed to me that the questions the employee was asking to the boss guy were asked because he was either not properly trained, not trusted to do the things he was asking if he needed to do, or could not perform the tasks of the job and had to ask a question every five seconds. Not an extremely pleasant experience.

Description of Work: They did not come on the day of the appointment and did not contact me. They gave me a high price on installing installation and then proceeded to use the old installation I already had. They did put in new installation over the old installation. I think they overcharged on the installation since they did not use all new installation in the attic.

Description of Work: They replaced all of the A/C air ducts and hung them from the rafters as recommended, sanitized the A/C vents and blew in a foot of insulation in the attic. The sealed other parts of the A/C system that were leaking. Adam and his team did excellent work. Before they began, they covered the floor under the attic with a tarp. After they finished the work in the attic, they vacuumed all around the house to pick up every bit of debris. We had a big mildew problem in the A/C system but not anymore! The attic looks great!!

Description of Work: I purchased the air duct cleaning deal for $79.99 with the knowledge that my ducts would likely require extra work above and beyond the standard cleaning, which they did. I was extremely pleased with the service provided. In fact, when Service Express arrived at my house, they mentioned that due to the fact that it was relatively new construction (10 yrs old), I may not need a cleaning. This made me feel confident that I could trust the information I received about the state of my ducts. It turned out that I did need a cleaning and I also elected to install a UV ray cleansing device to prevent further issues. Overall, I highly recommend Service Express.

Description of Work: I responded to the air duct cleaning special offer on Angie's List. My HAC vents were becoming black around the ducts and the system obviously needed cleaning. It had not been serviced in the 20 years since a new system was installed. It was no surprise to me then when the Service Express manager showed me a photo of the evaporator coils which resembled something the dog dragged in -- probably detritus from reroofing. The crew cleaned that up and resealed/retaped the ducts to eliminate several leaks and cleaned up everything before leaving. Made a huge difference.
