I bought the $79.99 deal for entire house air duct cleaning. The company called me back promptly on Monday morning (I bought the deal Sunday afternoon). The work was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon and performed as promised. My niece was at the house when the work was performed and the technician informed her my ducts were fairly clean but the ac coils were pretty filthy. She called me at work and spoke with the technician. He explained what and why they looked that way. Although the ac system is only a year old the previous homeowners were smokers ergo the coils were covered in a fair amount of tobacco film. Because I had bought the air duct cleaning he took $75 off the cost of cleaning the coils. When I arrived at the house the technician showed me the before and after pictures of the coil. Very impressive to say the least. After the coils were cleaned they sprayed and cleaned the ac system with biocide and let the system run for ~30 minutes. Poof! The tobacco odor was gone and I have not smelled any smoke at all. The technicians were professional, explained everything they were going to do and did. I was very pleased with the entire process and it was well worth the extra $350.00 to have the entire system cleaned. Would hire the company again without hesitation.

purchased 2 deals for duct cleaning, since we had 2 units. Was offered a appointment by email. Answered back and got confirmation in timely manner. Team (Adam and Yousef )came as scheduled, on time, with notice. Performed job as planned; very clean (protective cover on shoes, cleaned up around before leaving). Unfortunately I was not able to check up on all their work. Did inspect 1 duct and it was very clean. I assumed all others were done the same way. Later on in the afternoon as I was putting in new filters, I noticed that one of the ducts was not cleaned throughout. Was a little disappointed. So called the next morning and e-mailed . Did not hear from them (later on found out that they had some interned issues). so I called back on Saturday (before Easter). Got Erika on the phone and explained her what has happened. She was very helpful and scheduled on the spot a re-visit by the team who did the original cleaning for the Monday after. Again, they showed up on time, handled the situation very professionally, apologized for the inconvenience and re-cleaned the duct.. They also re-cleaned another one that was not up to my standards. Overall, very satisfied; I really appreciated their quick turn around in coming back to finish the job. No questions asked. Very professional and responsible for their job. Would recommend them, even with the situation that happened.

-We bought the Big Deal Coupon for $79.99 Air Duct cleaning from Service Express Home Experts. We scheduled the service for 20-March. -We had to postpone the appointment as the work on our hardwood floors hadn't finished. We rescheduled for the 4-April. -I took off work early to meet the crew at 2 p.m. as agreed. The crew did not show up. I called the Service Express office - they told me that there had been an error and the crew had not actually been scheduled. We rescheduled again. -At the newly scheduled time - the crew did arrive. After looking at the vents - they came down from the attic to tell me that there was mold in the vents. The technician took pictures - and this did appear to be the case. He informed me that it would cost $2000 to clean and treat the mold. Of course - I was shocked. -The technician told me that if I did the work with him today - he could make me a deal for $1600. I was still shocked. -At the end he told me he would make me a great deal and do it for $1400. At this point - given the large increase - I wanted to get a second opinion. I requested that the technician reclose the vents and to send me a formal quote. He agreed and took my email address. He said that they would either apply the $80 I had already paid to the services if performed in the future - or a refund. -Despite repeated calls to Service Express - I never received a formal quote - and no one has called me back to issue a refund. I have even called the cell phone of the owner - but have not had a call back. -I called for a second opinion with COIT. The cleaned the vents for $750 with the additional treatments required. -We have initiated proceedings with Angie's List to obtain our refund for the Big Deal.

I paid an additional cost from the deal, it was different from what they advertised like the inspection and all that. It was like 1000 dollars. I know its clean but it was pretty expensive. They did it all in one day. It was two guys and they were very talkative and nice, he seemed to be able to sell his services and my husband and i believed them. We did not know at that moment and time. It didn't feel good.

The technician called to let me know that they were running late due to mandatory maintenance on their truck. When they arrived, they got to work quickly. They had a small malfunction with the brush attachment that left bristles scattered around the house. They picked up as many as they could find, but we still come across one now and then. They did clean up after themselves well. As with other reviewers, I will say that they did attempt to sell additional services, but I was prepared for this and they were polite when I declined. Overall, I was pleased with their service and would hire them again.

Very pleased. Our AC people warned the ducts were old and could break. Service Express was selected for their Angie's list reviews and did a good job. Responded fast (we were getting a stale moldy smell) and showed how they would be gentle but thorough on our ducts. Technician had 8 years of experience. They did the work fast, and cleaned up everything. The odor was gone immediately and has not returned.

They were very prompt in taking care of our request to send out a team. The guys came out on time and completed the work efficiently. The only things I did not care for was being pushed toward taking a deodorizing package (we did not) and that they were not very careful when dragging their equipment across the hardwood floors.

The work was not completed on the day in which we agreed upon via email. However the managment staff was nice and willing to listen to the issue that took place so I will refrain from further comments.

I called Service Express to schedule an apointment. The receptionist was very helpful and polite. The next day two guys came to my house. The techs were also very professional. Before coming into my home they put on bootcovers. I was impressed. They then worked diligently for 4 hours. In that time they cleaned my airducts and got all the dust out. They sealed some leaks that were in my airducts. They also sanitized my whole home. They gave me a variety of choices for the deoderizer. I chose Strawberry flavor. My home just feels and smells great. I would recommend every one to get the sanitization deal. Its awesome!!!!!! They also installed UV lights inside the airducts which kills all airborne viruses and bacteria. They then cleaned one room of carpet which was filthy. After they were done it looked very nice. This company is Very professional and Mike the Owner is a very shrewd business man. I thank him and his team. Iam very happy!!!!!!!!!

Great job. Would recommend to others and will use again. They were on time, reasonably priced, friendly, and did a super job.

They were very professional and friendly. Told me that I had the cleanest air ducts that they had ever seen and that all I really needed was to have my returns cleaned out. They went to every vent in my home and vacuumed them out.

The guys that showed up where friendly and professional. They even cleaned up some of our rusty vents and swapped out another one for no charge. We had a little mold so we opted to do the add-on mold removal and prevention which moved the total to $800. Like a lot of the other comments we read before buying the big deal was this add-on is very common. However you don't have to do it and we personally counted on doing the mold stuff when we bought the package. Everything only took a few hours. The guarantee their work and will come back if you have any issues or think you have any issues within a year.

Just moved into our new home that is 19 years old... Starting fresh.

an and It went very well. They came in an opened all the covers and did a thorough inspection. They should me where there was mold and which was clean and what was needed. Tim and Ceasar were the team. They did not try to over sell and were very professional and gave me an estimate for the work which I thought was reasonable. They did a thorough job for about 3.5 hours. They covered the furniture when they cleaned and then cleaned all the dust and dirt off the floors before they left.

Adam was top notch and did a complete and thorough job. He was punctual, professional and communicated everything he was going to do.

Truly amazing work and service at an affordable price. The amount we paid is a chunk of change, but would have been 2 times as much with another company. They spent 4 days at our house basically redoing the entire system; including installation of UV lights, media filter holder installation (the units did not have media filters centrally), sealing the all of the ducts in the attic (this alone took a whole day), disassembling the fan and motor components and completely bleaching and scrubbing the units internally, truck vacuuming the ducts, etc. The list goes on. Micheal is great at what he does and truly a good human being. He showed me over and over again what was going on even after the sale was made. We not only got great work done at an affordable price, we feel like we made new friends too. My kids still ask about the crew and wonder how they are doing! In conclusion, I would highly recommend this company and trust them to handle my closest friends and family members without any reservation.

Found some mold spores in furnace air intake (the first place they looked) and ended up sanitizing entire a/c ducting.

He did a good job. He just cleaned the dryer vent. The air ducts did not need cleaning.

We bought the $79 duct cleaning special. I'd heard that when you do that, they always try to upsell with the mold treatment, which they did, but we are selling the house and wanted to have the mold treatment warranty in place, so that was fine. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I do think they should tell people they need to be outside the house when that's being done, though, and that you'll want to be out of the house for a few hours after as well.

Service Express Home Experts, Pearland, received good reviews on Angie's list, they had a $79 special and my duct work needed cleaning so I set up an appointment. The receptionist was polite, professional and answered all my questions. I have four a/c (3 furnaces) and was quoted $79 to clean each unit. Estimated time was one hour per unit. Adam & Yousouf arrived at 2:30 within the 2:00- 4:00 appointment window. They had a big box like vacuum unit which was placed in my garage with a very long vacuum hose brought into the house and up into my 3 attic spaces where my HVAC units are located. After initial inspection Adam recommended mastic (sealant) over the tape which are on the corners of the HVAC frame. They showed me what they would do. The tape seemed secure, no leaks, so I declined the offer to mastic at $200 per unit. Next they recommended Safe Shield Mold eliminator. This eliminates and protects for mold for 6-12 months. I reviewed the product online and could not get an ingredient list except that the company says it is organic. Since I did not have any mold I declined the application of the mold eliminator which would have cost $200 per unit. Vacuuming the blower unit which holds the fan is an additional cost at $125 per unit. I agreed to pay the additional fee to vacuum the blower boxes. This is my first home in which my duct work is the flexible hose as opposed to the metal duct work. I saw the fan like brush attachment and wondered how that would clean the top (inside) of the duct work if the brush is being pushed along the bottom. While Adam finished up Yousouf went around to check each ceiling vent to make sure each vent was secure. A couple had been pushed away from the ceiling and he drilled them back into place. By 5pm they were done and I paid my $883.32 bill. Both Adam & Yousouf were polite and professional. I did not appreciate the hard sell on the additional services I did not require though. Since my duct work was clean, 2 days later I headed up to my attics to replace the filters. Upon opening the HVAC units I discovered a lot of dust! The doors to the filter holders were dusty and untouched. The unit that holds the filter, which they removed for the cleaning, was dusty and untouched. I could look into the duct work and see lots of dust. Dust on the whole rim where the duct work starts & the top of the inside for as far as I could see. I used my phone camera to reach in and take several pictures which confirmed that the 3 HVAC units were still dusty. I did not inspect my 4th garage unit. I noticed my mastic was removed on all my duct work and cable ties now secured the ducts to the HVAC units. Since I didn't have replacement ties I did not inspect my duct work but really wanted to see their condition. In my ground level air intake vent, which is almost big enough to stand up in, I could look up and see that the duct work in there also needed attention. I called Service Express back. The receptionist was polite and apologetic. After talking to the technician and calling the office back I was able to set up an appointment. Adam & Yousouf returned and did additional cleaning on 3HVAC units. They offered to clean my dryer air duct for free. But after moving my dryer, with some difficulty, to access the vent, it was discovered the vent was pretty clean. They were at my home a little over an hour. I was satisfied with the results of the additional cleaning. Although the end cleaning result after two visits was acceptable I would expect good results from the initial visit. Because of the poor quality from their initial visit I will try another company for future service.

They called us within a few days of us purchasing the deal. I had to reschedule the appointment and they accommodated us. They cleaned the vents quickly. They told my wife what else needed to be done and what other services they offered.
