They came out and said my attic space has too much ductwork etc going on which would greatly reduce the benefits of installing the radiant barrier. They were very honest and gave descriptive reasons for why it wouldn't be worth my money. I value this honesty, lots of vendors would have just done the job and taken the money, but they didn't. Good guys

Very bad, No response to our calls or emails.

They did a good job, but said I didn't really need it. Didn't try to upsell like some negative reviewers stated. There was some debris that floats out after they're gone, but that's to be expected. They left the house clean.

I paid for two big deals since I have two a/c units. The two service guys showed up on schedule and I felt like they right away pushed more services on me spotting mildew and spots inside my attic A/C unit. I knew there were previous moisture problems with my A/C, but they made it seem like a bigger deal then it really was. I finally agreed to a price and to their credit, they did a good job cleaning and sealing. They kept good communication with me and showed me the before and after. In the end, I wished I could have shopped around for a better price since I felt like I paid a lot for what they did. The biggest turn off for me was that I paid $158 for air duct cleaning and ending up paying $1298.

The house smells cleaner and free from mold. They did a great job.

Everything went well. I did pay extra and had them clean the outside of the AC unit at my rental property. They were really responsive, able to get out to the property just a couple days after I bought the big deal.

These guys were great! They were a little late in the day as we were the last appointment and their earlier appointments ran longer. They were in constant contact regarding the lateness and even inquired if we wanted to reschedule. We were actually out of town when they finally did arrive (around 7PM) and started working. The tech kept in contact through the whole process. He thoroughly explained everything they found, made recommendations and then, gave us a price we couldn't say no to. I've heard other companies quote double what we paid in the end for the same work. Before they started and after they completed the job (after 11 PM) they had photographed everything. They put it in a report along with the invoice and emailed it to us. As well, they guaranteed that we would be happy or they would come back and correct anything we didn't like. The day following our return to town, we went to the property (it was vacant when they were doing the work) and inspected the work. I have to say, everything looked perfect. If you ever need duct cleaning and even work on your HVAC system, use this company. They are the best.

While they were here they informed me I had some air leaks in my attic flexible ductwork joints. They offered to fix these leaks for $800. I can do it myself for about $20 worth of sealer tape and about 30 minutes of labor. When I refused their upsell, they hurried the rest of the job.

The company called me and we scheduled the appointment. The crew showed up on time and was very good. I have no complaints and I would be happy to go back to them in the future. However, when they looked at my ducts they informed me that they were too new and that they didn't need cleaning. They offered to perform a more costly vent cleaning service at a discounted rate (although still considerably more than the duct cleaning even with the offered discount), so long as I didn't request a refund. I purchased the coupon for duct cleaning at $79.99. They offered to perform a vent cleaning normally priced at $800 for $450, since my ducts appeared to be in good shape. After giving it much thought, I'm afraid I'm not a position to purchase the additional service and so would simply like a refund of the original purchase. Should my circumstances change I would be happy to call them in the future.

I have recently purchase ac duct cleaning for Service Express out of Pearland Tx. However, it turned out that the ducts are okay. The technician said that i can get refund since no work was performed. Technician was honest enough to point it out.

There were no troubles with scheduling. I have two units in my home and they honored that cost of the deal for the additional unit. They showed up on time and did a good job. Everything went well with service.

First of all it didn't go at all. They didn't contact me in the 2 working day window. I contacted you and Kristen sent me this form after waiting several more days. Finally they did contact me the same day as this form arrived. I decided to give them a chance and scheduled them to come this morning (6/11/14). Last night, at 10pm, they sent me a message saying they weren't coming and wanted to reschedule for 6/19. I never saw the message since I turn in early and don't constantly check my email late at night. I took a half day vacation so I could be here when they arrived and I can't get that back. They've essentially already cost me $180 in lost vacation time so I have no interest in dealing with them. Please refund my $349. Thank you, L. D.

I signed up through Angie's list for the $79.99 air duct cleaning special (that's $79.99 per unit--and I had three units) At first I was a bit frustrated because I was communicating to Service Express Home Experts through Angie's List's email application which was somewhat frustrating because I just did not get on Angie's List regularly to check email. That aside, I fInally managed to get my appointment sorted after a couple of days of email exchanges. Nevertheless, once Mike and his assistant Gibson arrived, all was good. They arrived around 4pm as scheduled and immediately got to work. Mike and his assistant, Gibson, were very professional and cordial to my wife even before I arrived home from work. Once I arrived around 5 o'clock, they were accommodating enough to stop what they were doing and took the time to explain everything they had done to that point. Additionally, they diagnosed some problems that they had and made good recommendations for the work that needed to be done based on their logical diagnosis. We quickly agreed to terms and they promptly returned to work. They cleaned and sanitized my air ducts, installed UV lights in the ducts to zap any microbes and "deodorized" all three (3) of my units to evenly "scrub" the whole AC system. All this took about 3.5 hours from start to finish. They cleaned up the house nicely and were friendly the whole time, keeping a nice balance between being social and maintaining their professionalism. I plan on calling them back next week to have them clean my carpets. And I've already recommended them to my next door neighbor. Bottom Line: If Mike and his assistant, Gibson, are any indication of the professionalism you can expect from Service Express Home Experts, then you should not hesitate to call them. Their prices are fair and service professional.

This is a confusing services, because the Service Express Home Experts went to the house (member address removed), and cleaned the one AC/unit duct as ordered online for $79.99 + $9.99 (membership fee). But the invoice shows that total cost $913.22. I've just got my credit card bill and shows on May 27 Angies List charged my credit total $498.96 = $249.00+9.99+159.98+79.99. The correct cost should be $79.99+$9.99 =$89.98, because there was only one AC/unit ducts were cleaned by the services. I should get refund $408.98 back to my credit card. Also,the invoice shows the total cost is $913.22 which I do not understand it.

Service was scheduled for today between 11am - 1 pm. NO SHOW. Message sent at approx. 2:30pm that technician had not called or shown up. No reply. I saw on comments today that this service had not shown up to another customer twice. I wish to cancel this transaction. I don't trust them now.

ABSOLUTE NO SHOWS, TWICE!!! WAITED ALL DAY MONDAY, JUNE 3RD, APPOINTMENT SET FOR 9.00 AM. NO CALL, NO SHOW. AT LEAST MY CALL WAS RETURNED LATER AND SERVICE RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, 6/4/2014 AT 9.00 AM. YET AGAIN, NO CALL & NO SHOW. TODAY NO RETURNED CALLS OR REPLY TO MY E-MAIL EITHER!!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

we purchased our home in November 2013. We decided to get the air ducts cleaned as we were soon to be stepping into Spring. We contacted Service Express Home Experts Inc. Two men arrived to perform the work. Our A/C is approximately 12 years old and we knew it would probably have some additional problems....the technician performed an inspection and explained the problems he encountered. My husband was traveling and the technician called my husband to explain, in detail, the situation. The technician was extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond by taking several photos and emailing them to my husband. My husband had seen the system in the attic and he knew quite well of the problems. We went ahead and added the additional services recommended by the technician. He took photos of the work completed in order for my husband to see his work. The two gentlemen were extremely professional in their work. They did not rush and ensured the work was performed correctly. They also vacuumed the carpets extensively to ensure they cleaned up after themselves. I was truly impressed and highly recommend this company.

We purchased an Angie's list deal for air duct cleaning. The technician that stopped by said our air ducts were clean but still went ahead and clean them. I don't know if it made much of a difference in the end, but I guess the air smells cleaner.

Luke and Nick spent all the time necessary to be sure the ducts were cleaned out. They were very nice and professional. They also cleaned up after themselves. They gave us an estimate on the installation of a UV light system that would keep mold and mildew from forming in the attic unit. The price was extremely competitive. At this point we have not decided to install this, but are seriously considering it. We are quite pleased with the experience.

I purchased an Angie's List deal to have our vents cleaned. I knew we would probably need more done than just the standard cleaning, and boy, was I right. I had been meaning to get this done for years (since we purchased the house in 2009), but life just kinda got away from us. We had everything completely stripped and cleaned. This company did an awesome job. I only have three complaints, and they're minor. 1) After cleaning our ductwork and vent covers, the guys apparently didn't reinstall some of them very well. I have a handful around the house that are kinda hanging. I'm sure it's just in need of having a screw tightened, but when you have to bring a ladder into the house it turns into a big ordeal. 2) My downstairs unit has a slight burned smell to it now she my air turns on. It's getting better with time, but still slightly annoying. 3) I asked the men to wear shoe covers to keep dirt off my floors, since I have a daughter with severe allergies. They agreed, but they didn't seem to grasp the concept of shoe covers. They put them on, but they wore them outside on their many trips in and out. Only if they got wet did they take them off and change them. I didn't notice they were doing this until it was too late. My tile was filthy and there were leaves all over my carpet. Other than that, I have no complaints. This is an excellent service and I would definitely recommend this company.

Used an Angie Deal for this service. My appointment was for 1-3 PM on a Friday. I received a call at 3:15PM from the first technician (Adam) that his last job went late and that he was in the Woodlands (I'm in Pearland), and that with traffic it would take him over an hour to get to me, so he wanted to reschedule the appointment (reason for the B for punctuality). We had just moved into this house and I was already experiencing air quality issues (Asthma and allergies to pet dander/hair), and I was counting down the hours for this service. I expressed my dissappoint and he suggested I contact the office to reschedule. I was working with my refrigerator installation at the time, so I did not immediately call the office. Michael contacted me and I initially thought he was from the office calling to reschedule, and instead he informed me that his crew was almost done with a job in League City and could be out to my house wihtin the hour. I was thrilled to say the least. Michaeal and crew arrived. Michael walked me through the process, and his crew cleaned all 11 of the vents, 2 intakes and replaced my filters (that I provided), and connected ductwork. Michael inspected the condenser system in the attic, recommended some treatments, and educated me and my husband a little bit more on our new home by identified future problem areas that we would need to address or else pay more for a HVAC person to repair/replace the coils if left unaddressed too much longer. The true result of the service is that I am no longer waking up in the middle of the night coughing or having problems swallowing. Definitely would use their services again as the actual servicing of my home was excellent and was to my satisfaction.

Even though the additional expenses were unplanned, I cannot complain about one bit of the serivce. The gentlemen were very prompt, courteous, amicable and professional with their services. Would definitely recommend their services!!!!

Michael and Nick were very professional and checked all air vents and duct work, including the air ducts in the attic. A small amount of treatment was needed and performed. They explained everything to my satisfaction and showed me what needed to be done. I would recommend them.
