I was not able to get the services completed with this deal due to the type of built in wooden air ducts we have. This deal is for metal air ducts and the services associated would have torn our air ducts up. They were very nice and informative. This is a very good company.

That went well. It turned out that there were some complications. They fixed the issues I was having with a leaning coil and they were able to completely take care of my mold problem.

Mike and Gibson were very thorough with the cleaning and I could tell the difference when the AC was turned back on. I appreciated Mike telling me that I should not have the return vent blocked as I was told by an energy saving technician a couple of years ago. Maybe that's why my downstairs was always 2 - 3 degrees cooler than my upstairs? I was shown the "growie things on the AC and they were gone when Mike got finished cleaning that part. It was sparkling. I'm not sure what else to say except this was my first experience with AC duct cleaning and I have to say it was a good one. Provider was punctual, communicated well beforehand, and was friendly and professional in appearance and demeanor. The senior technician was A+. He had a relatively new hire with him and that gentleman could have used more training with his bulky equipment. He knocked a small painting off the wall and replaced it without mentioning the incident (but it was quite obvious since the painting had be rehung upside down -- the joys of modern art!). He also shattered a glass vase by accident. The senior tech handled that error imediately on-site. Their services can be quite expensive once one gets beyond the work described in their coupon or promotional offer; however there is no pressure to purchase additional services. I had to ding the provider for a post-work issue. While it took me a month to locate the invoice for the broken vase so that I could request reimbursement, it took the provider more than twice as long to send a check. They could not find my payment information, my invoice, etc., and I had to fill in the blanks for them. They told me that there had been some damage to their office or something like that, but I had to be the one to initiate and maintain contact with them to get the check. I'd still use them again but next time I'd protect my home better before they arrive.

The service provider came out when doing the bid and said that my attic was way bigger than what the Bid Deal had covered and they charged me an extra $2290.00 on top of the money for the deal. After that they tried to push us to buy installation that was an extra $1600.00. I didn't really know how big my attic was until that point. So in the end they tried to get me to do $3489.00 worth of work. The service deal was for 1000 square feet of radiant barrier insulation. Basically it was a hassel and I won't be using the company again. They were nice but they charged way too much compared to what the deal offered and how much it was priced.

Appointment was made online from 8-10 am. At 10:30, they had not arrived. I emailed them and they said they had the appointment from 10-noon. About 11:30 they called and said the job they had problems at the job they were on and would be at my home around 2:00 PM. They showed up and did their job. The $79 quickly changed because they said cleaning the duct covers was not part of the job and they charged me $20 a cover. Then they said they needed to spray the ducts with a liquid as to keep mold from growing back and that was not included in the $79, so that was about $330. I need have mold on my covers and I'm sure mold in my ducts. Isn't that why you get them cleaned? That $79 vent cleaning cost me $713 that day.(not counting the $79 I paid angies list) I won't use them again. I want to say that I have used numerous people from Angie's list and have been happy with their work. This is my first not so good experience.

Mike removed all the air vents and cleaned every single duct through the house. Once that was completed, he checked the AC unit in the attic where he found that some of the duct work wasn't sealed properly. He showed me where there were problems and recommended solutions. He was very friendly and cleaned up the work areas afterward.

Excellent. Ceiling fan had been brought over from a previous house and was in pieces in a box. He put the puzzle back together and had it working and installed in less than 30 minutes.

They did an excellent job. I would use this provider again in the future.

The deal was for 1000 sq. ft. of radiant barrier for $349.00, but they want $2500.00 for the additional 1100 sq. ft. The price is much higher than those of other firms.

The technicians were courteous, fast, and probably as efficient as this type of service can be. They cleaned up after themselves. Over all it was a good service experience. Now, I do question how efficient duct cleaning services are in general. It stirred up dust in the ducts that was not completely removed. So we have had to contend with some dust in the air (it has returned to "normal" levels). They used a deodorizer and sanitizer, which is good, but that is also an irritant that is in the air. Now, I do question the pricing structure of Angie's List. If we had stuck to the $79 initial charge they would have run the brushes through the ducts and it would have caused more harm than good. The $79 was just a booking fee. To get a fairly decent job, we had to spend a total of $400.00. Now they did clean the dryer vent also, which was a plus, but if you think you are going to get a turn key job on that initial fee you are living in wonder land. I suspect that all of the "Specials" are like that, which I suppose if you know it's just a game you can play along.

I purchased 2 duct cleaning cleaning deals for $80 each, one for my upstairs unit and one for my downstairs unit. They came out and said that we had mold in our units and we needed $1100 of treatment on 1 unit and $700 of treatment on the other unit. They said that the treatment was not covered by the deals that I purchased because the ?deal? we bought was only for cleaning ducts and not for cleaning air handlers, blowers, vents, etc. After the technician told me how much he thought the necessary treatments would cost, I told him that I didn't want the treatment done today. All I wanted was the duct cleaning done. I asked him to give me an itemized estimate for the $1800 treatment so I could compare his estimate to those of other companies. He said OK and then he went to get his duct cleaning equipment. When he got the equipment to the house, he said that the equipment was broken. So we would have to re-schedule an appointment for them to come to the house again. He said that they would call me to re-schedule. He left without giving me an itemized estimate for the mold treatment. When he left, forgot his clipboard at my house. So he called the next day to come pick it up. I told him that I had not been contacted to re-schedule the appointment. He said he would make sure that someone calls me. No one ever called me. So no one ever did any cleaning or treatment of any type. So I paid $160 to give the company the opportunity to try to give me a raw deal. In my reading online, I have since found out that any cleaning of the HVAC system should include ALL components and not just the ducts. This is because if you have mold, it will not be limited to growing in the ducts. It will be living throughout your entire A/C system. Any company in this line of business should surely know this. So this "deal" offered by the company seems to me clearly to be a bait-and-switch scam.

It was fantastic. They were very prompt, polite, efficient & friendly. They came to do this job almost in an "emergency" basis! I found out we were having the entire family here for Thanksgiving & had to do a quick deep cleaning.

I made an appointment, but not only did they not show up, they didn't call me either!

Company showed up unannounced I had to leave. They took my numbers and said they would call back to reschedule. They never called back.

He claimed there was mold in our ducts and wanted to charge $800 to fix the situation. Then he claimed he couldn't clean them without the remediation. He eventually said he would when I wouldn't pay all that money and he only clean the ducts with a vacuum from the attic and didn't clean any of the individual vents. I am not sure the service actually did anything. It seems like a scam about the mold to scare you and then charge you a crazy amount to fix it.

I decided to go with someone else.

Adam and Yousef were very professional and included me in the explanation and maintenance of the air flow units. Minor mold cleaning was an additional up charge, which was fairly expensive and relatively expected given the Houston humid climate. It is important to note that the mold was minor and I received a discounted rate for this cleaning, depending on the severity and extent of your probable mold your price could be higher.

We purchased a "special" on Angie's List for air duct cleaning for $80. The techs arrived and, after putting on booties to cover their shoes, inspected the ducts before beginning work. Following their inspection, they informed me that the ducts were perfectly clean and didn't need their services. We purchased a house that was eight years old and assumed it needed a cleaning. The larger (four-inch wide) air filter and the previous owners' diligence maintained perfectly clean air ducts. I appreciate their honesty! They offered to refund our money, but we will apply the $80 towards some additional insulation that we need. Great company! I recommend them to everyone.

Great, they just said it wouldn't make sense to do the work, that I wouldn't get my money's worth.

They arrived on time, went straight to work, and completed the job and charged me what they agreed to pay.
