It went great! Micheal and Carlos showed up on time and were very processional (they used shoe covers!). Everything they did was explained, issues were pointed out and pictures taken. Suggestions were made with no pressure. I felt very comfortable with them in my house and appreciated their communication. Will definitely use them again.

Servicemen were very nice and polite and did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. It cost a lot more than the advertised price of $74. The $74 only covered vacumming out the ducts and vents I guess, but I'm not sure. After they started the cleaning, the serviceman started telling us about other things that needed to be done and there was an extra charge, but I understood that he would at some point stop and write it all up with prices for us to decide on what we wanted done, but that really didn't happen. He did the work and then charged us another $570 for the extras. He was a fast talking salesman and we were taken by surprise. On the plus side of things, he found a problem we did not know existed. There was a fairly large piece of our ductwork that had come loose and was laying in the attic. Therefore for probably the last two years the AC had been pulling hot air and dust out of the attic, therefore our house was never really cool. He put that back into place and sealed it up and we are very grateful and it is worth the extra money. I think the sanitizer that he sprayed into the duct was also not part of the $74 price but it sure made the house smell good and clean. I have also just realized that the dryer vent was not cleaned as promised. I guess he forgot about that and so did I. I would recommend them and use them again, but I would make it understood from the beginning that they do nothing but what is covered by their quoted special. I would be willing to listen to their suggestions, but make sure they understand that they are to do nothing else without my permission.

I knew when I ordered the basic service, I would end up paying more because nothing had been cleaned in 27 years! I was pleased with the quality of service.

Everyone was very professional. Did the extra work in a good amount of time. I wasn't planning on paying so much, but that usually happens with Angie List deals. There is always something more. But very satisfied with the work. Everything was explained clearly. I would hire them again.

My biggest issue was the pricing... Adam came out and measured the attic, said it would be X. X almost gave me a heart attack. After all, I bought the 99 package for 500 worth of insulation. The house is tiny - 1000 sq. ft. Then he gave my Y and Z, where Y was an R19 and Z was an R38. I felt like he was shooting from the hip. I told him I would need to talk to my contractor to see if it was fair and which option I should choose. I went with the middle number. A day later, I called the office to say what option I was going with and scheduled the techs to come out. When the techs arrived (5 hours late) they asked which option. I told them the middle option. They wanted to know what they quoted me... I would have called the office to ask for the invoice or remeasured for an exact number, if there really is an exact number. I had to go find the invoice... I will hold out to see if the insulation actually does change the electric bills. Unfortunately it is now fall, so I won't have a good benchmark.

Adam and Gilberto showed up professionally to clean all duct work. Work was preformed in a timely manner. They were really nice and had good work ethic. It was fathers day and they wasn't a minute late. Straight up on time. They explained everything from the beginning to the end. I will definitely use their services in the future.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. After I waited for two hours for them to show up, the service provider tried to convince me that the dust in my ducts was mold. I took a look at it--and it was just dust--not mold. In the past, I had the dust and the air in my house tested by an environmental inspector and it came back negative for mold. Then, I asked him to still do the work. And, he conveniently said that he would not be vacuuming the small unit box in the attic; which, in essence, would make the air duct cleaning useless because then the dust inside the unit in the attic would end up in the ducts again right after they cleaned them. I told him that the AD said it included the unit. And, he said it did not. And, what the advertisement said did not matter. I said, that it did matter--I am an attorney, and I know that based on advertising law, they have to do what I've already paid up-front for. Then, he said he would not do any work on my house whatsoever. I guess he did not like the fact that I don't enjoy being ripped off. THEY ARE SKETCHY; AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The work they did actually saved us money. We were going to buy a new dryer but when they cleaned the very clogged vent, it worked just fine. The also looked at other issues and gave us recommendations. Yes we will use them again.

They came out and were very polite. They took a look at my attic at my new property. They said they could not do blown in insulation, saying I need all new duct work, $6,120. I had to others service providers come out and both said there is nothing wrong with my duct work, it's not in great shape but doesn't need to be replaced. There are three ducts that need to be replaced, the others just need to be wrapped. They quoted 12 ducts, and there are not that many. Each of them quoted about half of their price for repairing the ducts and the blown in insulation. I felt like they were taking advantage of me. The other two providers advised me there needs to be a license number on their invoice and that was not on their quote, which they also advised was illegal.

Purchased the air duct cleaning special. After a thorough inspection, it was determined that the cleaning was not needed, but Michael did find mold growing in the AC unit coils and provided estimates for two services. I chose the ultraviolet light option, which was rather pricey, but in the long run will be extremely beneficial for my home and save money over the years. He applied a credit to the bulb install from the Angie's list special that I had already paid for. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the service, professionalism and thoroughness of the inspection. The team was super friendly and informative. I'll definitely recommend them for this service, and most likely utilize their other cleaning offers, as well.

They were wonderful. They explained everything. They did not find anything and did not charge anything.

After talking with them about the specials, it was recommended for them to do a free estimate with possible work. They came out, told me the ducts were clean and the did not recommend cleaning. They did toll me a few things I could do on my own to help with dust. Guys were professional and did not try to sell me services I did not need. Would highly recommend them.

My customer service experience started on a positive note and ended in disaster! I spoke with Tanya (sp?) who provided a great deal of information about vent cleaning. I stressed that I lived in a high-rise and made an appointment that would occur in two weeks between noon and 2. The day prior to the appointment, having not heard anything, I called the main number to confirm. After many rings Tanya picked up the phone and immediately indicated that she was on vacation . . . She confirmed that I had an appointment; however, she said it was between 8 and 10. I said no and she "had to find her notes." After locating them, it was verified that I had selected 12 - 2. Since she did not quickly offer to correct the problem I voiced a concern about professionalism; Tanya said that if I felt that way, perhaps I should not do business with Service Express. I cancelled. Early the next morning the phone rang but I missed the call. I listened to the message; it was Mike, the Service Express technician, who was calling to say that he was on his way . . . to let him know that I no longer had an appointment I returned the call but got his voice mail. He called back and I explained the entire situation. NOT ONLY HAD THE APPOINTMENT BEEN MADE FOR THE WRONG TIME AND CANCELLATION INFORMATION NOT SHARED, MIKE HAD NEVER BEEN INFORMED THAT I LIVED IN A HIGH-RISE WHICH MEANT THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE REQUISITE PORTABLE MACHINES TO PERFORM THE JOB! He apologized and convinced me that from a technical standpoint the company was very competent. He provided his own telephone number and said that I should only deal with him. I relented and made another appointment . . . BIG MISTAKE! He also indicated that he would call the day before the appointment to confirm. By 5 in the afternoon on the day before no one had contacted me. I called Mike but got his voice mail. After waiting and trying his phone again with no response, I called the main company number. I left a confirmation message. Shortly, Tanya called and in a very condescending manner, declared that I did not have an appointment since only she could book appointments. I emphasized that Mike had made the appointment; she indicated that he was not authorized to do that! We went back and forth until she stated that she would have Mike call me. After a while I called Mike who did answer. He had spoken to Tanya that morning who told him his scheduled was filled and I was not on it and there was nothing he could do. After chatting, Mike said that he would talk to the owner of the company and ask him to get in touch with me. THE BOTTOM LINE: NO CALL FROM TANYA, MIKE OR THE OWNER . . . THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

The office personnel were very professional and worked with us on our preferred date of service. The technician was prompt and professional. He cleaned all of all vents in our 2 story home and recommended steps we might want to try to prevent future problems. We did have some mold in our vents which he showed me and he treated that as well. After the work was done, there was a very noticeable improvement in the air quality. Almost two weeks later there still is. We do plan to try some of the improvements he recommended as they were very sensible and the tech was knowledgeable about this service. The price was excellent and we used a coupon they offered. We were very pleased with the work and will use them again in the future.

Not sure how Angie's List provided this offer as a deal in our area as the company was located in Indiana and serviced the Houston area. They were extremely responsive and contacted me promptly advising how to contact Angie's List for a refund.

The previous owner probably had not cleaned the air ducts in ten plus years, so it was VERY dirty. They did a fantastic job. Both technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful; they even gave me tips on my dryer ventilation and gave me other helpful maintenance advise. Mike made thoughtful recommendations on additional services and work, but was never pushy. I did purchase the additional sanitizing/deodorizing services, and am SO glad I did. The whole house smells and feels clean. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will definitely use them in the future.

We were pleased with the work they did and with the instructions they provided regarding taping the filter door. They worked quickly, wore shoe covers and were courteous. We would use them again and would recommend them to others. Thanks guys!

They arrived early and got right to work, explained the process to me and made sure I had all questioned answered. They worked quickly and cleaned up very well after themselves. They were very polite and did a great job. Would use again and recommend.

Adam and Gilberto came to service our home, they were a little late, however called ahead of time to notify. Adam was very knowledgeable and honest about the work that had to be done. He was not pushing any extra services. He honestly told me that the air ducts looked spotless, except for the return ducts and asked if I still wanted to go through with the service. I went ahead with the service because we have had some allergy issues since we replaced our carpet and have been seeing a lot of dust in the home. He performed the job and he and Gilberto cleaned up after themselves. Our home smells refreshed and the vents are pretty spotless. Gilberto even went ahead and cleaned all of our ceiling fans, no extra charge. I would recommend and will be calling them out in the future.

Adan and Gilbert were extremely professional and really, really nice. I appreciate that they were kind enough to do the evaluation then let me know that they would have to do a return trip to complete the job once the hardwood floor was laid. I would recommend them highly.

One vent was not able to be cleaned because the second person who was supposed to be on the crew was not available. It was a high vent on a stairway so an additional crew member would be required. Representative who was here did a good job and cleaned up after he finished the work.

We originally hired Service Express to clean our vents & ducts for a $79 special, but upon inspection, the guys (Mike & Gibson, I think) told us we didn't need it, but found some other areas were we had problems - the vents were dirty, but the ducts where fine, air returns were clogged, mold in our coils, ducts not taped & sealed & a pest problem in the attic. The guys wrote us up a quote, gave us a credit for the money already applied for the service we didn't need & went to work fixing the problems. All of our air vents & returns are a brand new color! They were kind enough to replace all of the filters for me while they were there. It might have cost us more in the end, but the idea of breathing cleaner air is worth it!! While they were at it, they located a hornet problem in a couple of our external vents, asked for some spray & took care of that, too! Basically, they saw a problem & they fixed it. Oh, & did I mention they were early? Will definitely recommend these guys to our neighbors.
