They were fine. They came within the time I asked them to come.

They were late for the appointment to do the job; a courtesy call would have been helpful to let me know when they were to arrive. They installed an additional attic cap, but they had it in the wrong size and it took additional time.

I believe they lacked internal organization because he kept pointing the finger at one another as to why they didn't call why they didn't communicate why they made promises that they didn't back up and I really felt that I didn't want to have a business relationship with this company and I just told them that I wanted my money back. This is my personal experience it only happened to me but according to the other reviews I read it could've possibly happened others.

I bought a big deal for this service. I asked for a refund on this. The person came out, went up into the attic and said we had mold. He said he is a certified mold inspector and before he did any duct cleaning he would need to clean that out and it would be $1,000. I wasn't home, it was my wife who was there. It was $1,400 and if we said yes that day he was going to give us a $400 discount. He gave an estimate to my wife and everything else and then he left. I told my wife not to do it. I did some Googling and in Texas the person who detects mold cannot clean it. So I ordered a mold inspection and the guy came out and basically said we did not have mold. I think the price was pretty good.

After they arrived and surveyed the items to be cleaned, they recommend some additional work be done. I let them do all that was recommended. When they cleaned the AC coils, it was painfully evident that previous service companies (no less than 5 separate companies) never removed the covers and cleaned properly. There was lose insulation in the coils, a insulation bat covering one of the outlet ducts (reason we could not regulate the heating or cooling) and filthy coils with Mold. I also had them install a UV light to reduce the production of Mold. Overall the cost was a little higher than originally planed. However I did receive the value and piece of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they actually do what the say.

The service by the company went great. They first evaluated the system and determined that there was no need to clean the system and made that recommendation. In addition offered a refund for the services since I had already paid for them, which I did receive back. While here they checked dryer vent to ensure clean and complete system. Also cleaned all A/C return plates. They provided excellent service and would recommend and use this service provider again for services they provide.

They were able to fit me in at short notice. Came out late due to torrential rain, but were quick off the mark once they arrived and got set up. Explained everything they were going to do and provided photos of my ductwork to ensure I understood what they were recommending. Had the ducts sanitized for about $800. Impressed they wore foot covers inside my home. Great job.

The duct cleaning itself went well. However, a huge amount of damage was done to our Air Conditioner in the course of accessing and performing the duct cleaning, which led to a huge amount of damage to our home when 1) The A/C unit's slope was changed from tilting right to left, to tilting left to right 2) The change in slope reversed the flow water away from its draininge path, which led to water leaking out of the right side of the unit. 3) The result was discovered as drips in the kitchen, which meant water had come from the attic through its floor, through the bedroom ceiling and its furniture, carpet, pad and sub floor, through the kitchen ceiling and light fixture, to the kitchen floor. I immediately called Service Express when we discovered the leak. Although they verbally told me 2-3 times that they would cover the damage they had (unintentionally) caused to our home, they are not answering my insurance agent's calls to cover the damage. I have photos, and lots of data to illustrate and support what I'm talking about. I am willing to update this review if Service Express or their business insurance just cover the damage they caused. Otherwise, it does not seem like a fair way to do business. The "good" rating above is for initial punctuality. It obviously does not apply to their punctuality in this matter, which I have to hope is a rare thing to have happen.

They did clean all vent. Left a lot of debris on the ground, I would expect them to clean this up. Forgot to replace a vent, an over tightened a couple vents (used an impact driver). Up sell prices were high. Wanted $200 for sanitizing; this is included by other vendors with a comparable price service.

Sanitizing was included, Which was a $200 up sale with another vendor. Did a good job and left the place clean.

When the technician arrived, I explained that our down stairs vents were in bad shape- we have 3 dogs and I leave my back door open pretty much all the time when we are home (we live on the coast and it is quite humid). After evaluation, I was told that I had a fungus and mold issue and the technician recommended a complete overhaul of the system including new attic insulation. I was given a quote of $5,000.00 for everything. Needless to say, I was in shock since I was thinking it would be more like $160 for the cleaning for 2 units. The technician managed to whittle away at the quote and taking out the insulation, quoted $3200.00 to get rid of my fungus/ mold problem. He said that he could not clean anything that day as it would only exacerbate the problem but to talk it over with my husband and he was available that Sunday to do the overhaul. I decided to obtain a second opinion from another reputable well-known company. The second company came out and evaluated - I was told I had no fungus and the mold on my downstairs vents was due to condensation from leaving the back door open and keeping my air conditioner so low and that my upstairs vents really didn't even need to be cleaned! In summation, I went with company #2 and paid $600.00 total and was very happy with the outcome.

I am in Arizona and a company in Houston area was contacted and paid to clean my vents.. of course they couldn't do it. I paid with Pay Pal and trying to get reimbursed.. The company that got the money said I had to contact Angies list

Michael was knowledgeable and helpful. But don't think this job is done for the $79 you paid Angie's list. When the analysis is done it was $1500 MORE than that to do our single story, 2200 sq. ft. home. I was surprised, but I also could see that we had issues, and I have asthma, and they were here. So we paid it. And I have not had any health issues since. I just wish I had known so that I could have prepared my husband for the shock ... that $79 was the cost to come out and tell me what it cost, I believe. But it sounded like the job would be done for that price. NOT THE CASE. So perhaps the description of what will be done should be clearer?

went fine. they didn't clean the vents that were 18' feet high - they didn't know so did not bring the proper tool.

It is kind of expensive. We thought cleaning the duct includes cleaning the screen. They charge $25 per cover. Beware of the extra cost. They should have provide a complete package deal. Not partial and charge more for more service

All-in-all, provider's expert service has most likely solved my family's health issues. They were on-time, very professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this service provider to anyone!

There was some scheduling confusion that was eventually resolved. They were very accommodating to my requested schedule. However, the 2-4 pm window of time turned into them coming at 5:30 pm. As a result of them being late I didn't have the opportunity to really discuss what was going on while it was happening, and I wasn't able to observe their work to make sure it was being done according to my expectations. They were rushed for time and I wonder if shortcuts were taken, given that I did find out that they missed one of my returns. The pressure for additional services was not overbearing, which was a relief.

After 2 cancellations (one weather related), I got a call again today wanting to schedule tomorrow between 2 and 4. I thought I made it very clear that I work and for me to take off work and them not show up again is not an option. I realize things happen, but I do not want to spend any more time waiting on them to show up.

The work was not done. My money was refunded.

I would never use them again. I own several homes and every time I've had duct work cleaned out like that it has eliminated the dust. I don't know what they did but it's just as bad as it always was and what they were trying to do is sell some type of additional product because I had mold in my air duct in one corner of my house. I have three different houses with duct work cleaned because one of my kids had allergy and if you had your duct work cleaned it takes all that dust out, so the next day I just had the dust. So I've had better service from other companies. They called me the next day. They were on time.

Mike and Carlos were courteous and knowledgeable. They gave recommendations and discussed options with us on the units and keeping dryer vent clean. Punctual and thorough in their work. Would highly recommend them for any job and will continue to use to follow=up service in years to come.
