Overall it is okay, not sure about the effectiveness about the "mold" treatment.

Showed up on time. Inspected ducts and found they were clean and didn't need the service. I appreciated the honesty. I would have preferred the duct to be sealed back like it was prior. I'm sure this method is fine but it's not as good as it was before he opened it up to inspect. Overall I am very pleased and would use them again.

Fantastic service. Great professionals who came to the home (Mike and his partner)... Very knowledgeable. We had an issue that they had to come back and fix, however they were extremely responsive and came at our earliest convenience. Definitely recommend.

It also comes with a pound of free freon. The year before that, the provider told me that I was half a pound low and when they came out, it was like I was okay. I was looking for them to top off my freon level. They didn't do that and they gave me the bid on installation and all that stuff. I was looking for a pound of free freon and they weren't even looking to do that. They didn't charge me more than the Big Deal price. They said they would be there and they were there.

He told me he had come with a pound of free freon and the year before that the provider had told me that I was half a pound low and when they came out it was like, "Okay, now you're okay." and I almost looked for them to top up my freon level. So they didn't do that and went to give me the bill for the installation. I was looking at the pound free of freon and they weren't even looking into that.

Michael was very polite, explained everything as each step taken to clean, disenfect and cleaned vent covers and replaced all old screws with new. He also installed a OVGI, he explained the advantage of the system. His helper was also very polite and respectful. Everything went very good.

We have 5 children so the fact that Svc Express got in and out efficiently yet also being thorough, was fantastic!

I could not tell how far in they cleaned. didnt really notice a difference.

They were on time, assessed further work that needed to be done and performed the work to my satisfaction.

It was okay. They definitely did a good job cleaning out my vents, the main return vents. I didn't need any of the other vents clean but when he looked at my furnace upstairs he did not return it the way it was. Like when he looked at the filters and it's kind of hard to put the filter cover back on because we live in Cady so the attic is placed sideways, and he left it off so when my husband went to go put it back on it was a big ordeal, actually he had to get a service man out there because he broke a part. I used the deal about two weeks after the purchase date. There were no additional costs. They were good until the final, I mean it ended up costing me in the end. They did clean the vents but they told me all the other vents were not dirty so I don't know if it was really true or not. They only cleaned my return vents so I don't know if they were just being lazy or I don't know. The technician was presentable but he was trying to sell his services on the side, for them to clean out my A/C unit and my furnace on the side, like as a side job not with the company. I would tell others that I don't recommend them. I would give price an A without the cost of the additional repairs. I would absolutely not use them in the future.

It went very well. Michael and Joseph were thorough, informative and honest. We appreciated that Very Much. It is a quality that in these times is unique and hard to come by. They cleaned out our dryer vent and systems. They will be returning to complete our air duct system in a few months.

My experience with Service Express was great. They first came in and inspected the house and let me know of anything that needed repairs. They quoted me for a lot of additional services in the beginning, but they did not pressure me to purchase everything. I explained that one of my units was on its last leg so I did not want any service on that unit. They understood and I was able to get a good deal with fast service on the repairs/cleaning I wanted done.

We had much more work done than initially planned, but it was so needed. Moved into an older home that had an AC system that had not been cleaned well in years. This was a full day's work! Had lights installed and the AC system and ducts cleaned. I was having terrible allergy issues. This job took care of the problem. I would recommend this company without reservations. The installers were great!

Excellent. I noticed a special on Angie's list for vent cleaning and decided that after 10 years living in a new constructed house it was time for the vents to be opened, accessed and cleaned. I was especially concerned about the dryer vent since the home builder had made a couple mistakes during construction & thought they might not have constructed the venting system correctly. Also, the house seemed to be collecting more dust than usual. There was a mistake on the time for the appointment. The arrival time given to the technicians was different than the office gave me so their arrival was late, but it worked out OK since it was a holiday and I was home all day. The crew opened all the vents and pointed out any issues - early mold growth. Most of the vents were fine. They then thoroughly cleaned the interior of the vent as well as the duct system. I learned from a friend that a black light system could be installed in the duct system to reduce the small particulates of pollen and allergens. They could install the equipment at a very reasonable cost. (cost of the equipment was 1/2 of the eqpmt priced at Home Depot). I got a very good deal. I also decided to upgrade my vent filters from the high-end 3M allergen variety that need changing every 3-months to electromagnetic filters which are removed, washed and replaced very 2 months. This saves filling Houston's waste dumps with more trash and I minimize my carbon footprint. The filters were sold to me at 1/2 price - I checked going rate on the internet & saw realized I got a very good deal - so I decided to upgrade. The technicians were very thorough and kept me posted on their findings as they opened the vents. They checked my duct system and repaired leaking air ducts. I'm an extremely satisfied customer and will use them again. I have confidence the work was done very professionally.

It was okay. They really didn't do anything. They just looked and thought I had mold in my vents. But, it turned out I didn't have any. So, they just gave me a write up. I didn't get air duct cleaning. They were here when they said they would be.

Michael and Carlos did an excellent job cleaning after their work and keeping us informed of possible maintenance that might be needed in the future. We appreciated that they did not insist on any additional work at this time but felt that all was sufficient now.

He came in and looked at all my vents then wrote up a quote for services I had not purchased. This quote was for about $1500 instead of the $160 to clean the air system in the upstairs and downstairs. I did not use the service. I did get my money back from Angie's List.

Great, unbeatable. I had another contractor scheduled to do the work and was waiting for the first to contact me for an appointment. The first provider contacted me with a later date than Angies List provider contacted me with a much lower rate and earlier date. Needless to say Angies List got the service.

The cleaning job was satisfactory. However, the person providing the service was more interested in selling additional, very expensive services that were not needed. We do feel that what we paid was fair for the service provided. However, we did not appreciate the high-pressure tactics for selling further services.

I was surprised to find out that my ducts had no mold or anything in the way ... they did check all of them and had a couple of good suggestions that previous folk had missed. Would I recommend these folks? Absolutely!!! Would I have them in my home again? You bet!!!!

I didn't like that. There was $500 worth of extra charges. They overcharged. They charged me more to clean every individual vent cover than it would have costed me to buy a new one. They called themselves refurbishing it with a flat tank which didn't match the paint that was already there. I saw fingerprints by the time they were done. The cost was way out of control. The services rendered weren't worth it to me. Their responsiveness was good.

The provider was very punctual, courteous and professional. Also very honest. He came to my house, checked the vents and determined that the air ducts were clean especially since my house is fairly new and I have a UV system installed. They did not charge for the service and asked me to request a refund from Angie's list and they will honor the refund request. This is the most honest provider I have met and I really appreciate their honesty. Highly recommended provider.

Mike arrived promptly and began working. I was somewhat taken aback when I was provided the estimate AFTER he began working. I feel he should have told me there would be additional cost with the $74.00 payment. Then when the cost blew up, I was really surprised and initially felt like I was a victim of a scam. BUT, I did have mildew and the beginning of a mold problem, which was the reason I scheduled the clean-up in the first place. Mike explained that the initial cost was if there was no problem in the ducts. I just feel this should have been explained up front prior to beginning work because some people may not be in a position to pay the higher fee, but would feel obligated to pay the fee because the work had already been started. My overall assessment of the work accomplished is that they did a great job, and as stated, I was very satisfied with the final results. After the initial stumble, Mike explained everything as he went along. Both he and Carlos were courteous and professional in there ability to get the job done. I had no problem with their performance of there duties in regards to the duct cleaning. They thoroughly cleaned up behind themselves and my home was left with a very pleasant scent. As stated, initially I was unhappy with the final bill and because I thought I was a victim of a scam - I even began procedures to withhold payment until the situation was discussed. Even with the problem of determining if the final cost of the work was fair or that I was overcharged, the service representative from both Angie's list and Service Express were very polite and eager to get the situation resolved. After speaking with a representative from Express Services, Mike the person who perform the service, and having it all explained fully, I was satisfied with the results. I was even offered an incentive due to the misunderstanding. Finally,I give this service my highest recommendation and will recommend them to anyone who needs duct cleaning. I certainly will use them for any future follow-up visits required.

They called before they came, they came when they said they would. The were friendly and professional. All their equipment worked (not always the case with some contractors). They removed every heating/cooling ceiling register and cleaned them thoroughly. They brought in some specialty equipment for duct cleaning and cleaned all the vent pipes. Afterwards, they cleaned up any debris, including vacuuming all the floors. Everything went very well and I will definitely use this contractor again in the future.
