We had our house built last year and have been saving for a beautiful yard. Bret and his workers did just that. We were very pleased with his work. First, he came out with his sweet wife and they looked around and took pictures. I really did not know what I wanted so I just left it in his hands and the work was beautiful and his crew were very good and cleaned up the mess daily.. He was always on time and returned my calls immediately. I would tell anyone that if you want professionalism and A+ work to use IOE.

Bret came to my house to discuss the project. We discussed some ideas, and he emailed several graphic makeups of of potential plans. I appreciated how Bret listened and responded to my ideas and requests. A plan and contract price were agreed upon. The existing plants in the atrium were removed. Bret's crew was professional and courteous, and maintained a clean work area. THe finished product was more beautiful that the graphics provided. A zen-styled atrium includes a water fountain, planters with new plants, trestles's, all softly lit on a timer. All of this sits on a rich looking green artificial turf. A low maintenance project was one of my requirements. Bret came through; the water feature feeds from my sprinkler system, lighting is on a timer, and the turf never needs watering or mowing. I just wish I could include a picture here to show you the quality, professional work completed. I am throughly satisfied, and would recommend Inside Out Environments to anyone. Submitted proposal for a patio cover and redesigned patio. Responded quickly and professionally. I would appreciate a drawing of the design to understand better what he is proposing. Still have not selected a provider for the project.

BRET WAS RESPONSIVE, VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SYSTEM. WE HAD NEVER HAD A SPRINKLER SYSTEM UNTIL WE MOVED INTO THIS HOUSE AND WERE UNFAMILIAR WITH IRRIGATION SETUPS. HE WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED, PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, AND HIS CREW WORKED VERY WELL TOGETHER TO GET THE JOB DONE. BRET WAS VERY CONSCIENTIOUS AND DID A FINAL CHECK OF EACH STATION TO MAKE SURE THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS. EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED, i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSIDE OUT ENVIRONMENTS FOR ANY LANDSCAPING/LAWN CARE NEEDS.

Bret & his crew were very punctual. professional and reasonably priced.They completed everything we requested and our yard looks terrific. We couldn't be more pleased. In fact, we plan to use them again to do further landscaping. Would definitely recommend using this company.

From start to finish, Bret was on time with his work, detailed, listened to any last minute changes we had and was totally agreeable in working with those changes. His crew was hard working, all business, and clean up each day was immaculate. He was always available whether by phone or email. A very conscientious young man. His work included... 550 sq ft of patio pavers beautifully done - no detail left undone refurbished existing bull rock areas; added new bull rock in other areas refurbished existing flower beds; added new flower beds with new soil and mulch installed drainage on the patio

I spoke initially with 5 landscapers. Bret was competitive - and more than that - we had a chemistry. He loves being creative - however the difference was - he LISTENED to me. Yes, he made suggestions along the way - but he never pushed nor insisted that I do anything a certain way. He truly understands CUSTOMER SERVICE. He listened, he followed through, always punctual, always cleaned up, and along the way we discussed new, creative things to do. What I appreciated most: he never made me "wrong". He gave me a professional opinion, but if I wanted to go in another direction he was fine, never argued, etc. We needed to put in landscaping that was MORE than deer resistant (I found out from neighbors that the deer here eat EVERYTHING that's deer resistant), so I did my homework and we did not use the plants he initally recommended - I didn't want to take a chance. I wanted low maintenance with a simple/Asian feel - he created a riverbed in the front with boulders that we picked out together that is beautiful. His workers worked long hours & did a beautiful job. I was going to use a fountain company, but in the end I trusted him so much that I asked him to build me a fountain - and it was cheaper & bigger than the estimate I got from the company - and again the boulders he chose have a pinkish hue that complement the pavers & stamped concrete in the screened in porch. I LOVE MY SANCTUARY. This guy is a GEM and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!!!! He's creative, artistic, has rich taste, LISTENS, guides, and satisfied his customers!!!!!

The work went very well. I gave Bret a budget within which I wanted to stay, and, although we had to make a couple of adjustments due to my requests as the work progressed, he kept the final bill within about 15% of my target price. The workers arrived on time, worked hard all day long, and produced a very consistent, integrated appearance in the new pavestone work. The landscaping also went very well, with the result that my yard now looks much, much bigger than it did. The work was done around the Christmas season, and there were some understandable delays, which Bret and I communicated about throughout. All in all, this was a job well done.

Our experience working with Bret Laird was so exceptional, so positive, that we want to work with him again. We want to start a budget solely to plan for the next Bret-designed project. He is creative, he has knowledge and his ideas alone are appealing. Both Bret and his crew worked so very hard. Our situation was bad (grading and drainage problems), and InsideOut Environments was the way to go to not only remedy everything BUT also make things look beautiful. And lastly, Bret will answer and return calls and email (and text messages) like it's something going out of style and he has to keep lines of communication open before then (because with some contractors, it has).

The crew did an outstanding job and let us with a beautiful front and back yard. Tell Bret what you want and let him give you his plan. Then based on your budget together you can arriveat a compromise that you will be happy with.

They are wonderful. They always come on time. Their prices are reasonable for the work done. They are friendly and very courteous. They are a family owned company.
