OUR KITCHEN IS BEAUTIFUL! AIS Stone and Marble went above and beyond what was expected. AIS installed countertops in our kitchen, including a huge island, in addition to countertops in one of our bathrooms. JT and his crew of highly skilled employees were absolutely wonderful to work with. We did extensive research on granite fabricators and came to the conclusion that AIS Granite is the best not only on Angie's List, but the most reputable company that we received quotes from. PERIOD. JT was excellent to work with and showed a lot of patience and meticulous attention to detail as we decided on the style and color of the granite. He went out of his way to find us the best quality granite in the color we selected. He explained how the work would be done and stayed right on schedule. We couldn't be happier with how it looks and how we were treated every step of the way. I look forward to having AIS complete our Master Bathroom remodel soon! When it comes to big purchases, I do research ad nausem and JT was one of five granite fabricators I asked to bid on my granite counter tops and new back splash. He showed up on time, and listened to what I hoped to achieve, I THOUGHT I knew what I wanted. JT looked at my kitchen and began making suggestions including changing the shapes and sizes of my existing surfaces. I was a little taken back, but what he said made sense, and he genuinely seemed to have a vision of what could be done, instead of just replacing what was there. After our appointment, I didn't need to meet another fabricator, JT had the job. He made an appointment to meet my wife and I at a local granite yard and again showed up on time. I THOUGHT I knew what I wanted again. Sienna Bordeaux granite, I had seen it before and thought it was perfect. JT showed us the Sienna Bordeaux but insisted on showing us another stone as well, one that I hadn't heard of, Typhoon Bordeaux. I had never seen such a beautiful slab of stone in my life, it was exactly what I didn't know I wanted. I was ready to call it quits, but JT took us to another granite yard just to make sure. He spent a considerable amount of time educating us on everything granite, and reassuring our choices. As my wife put it, he filled the role of a "mother", giving us guidance, and letting us know it was OK, or in his words "No Worries." He visited our house again with his fabrication team as they measured and confirmed details. He showed us pictures of back splashes and left us with samples of tiles, stones and marbles that we could use. When we hadn't fallen in love with any, he dropped of more until we figured out exactly what we wanted. When install day arrived, his crew showed up by 8 am, just as he said they would and they got to work. They must of thought I was crazy, pacing back and forth as they worked, but it didn't seem to bother them. When that first piece of granite went down, I knew it was going to be alright. It was gorgeous. Stunning. The colors, patterns everything was right. It matched our decor, taste and vision. JT delivered. The back splash was installed today, and is just what the kitchen needed to be complete. It looks as if somebody really knew what they were doing (my wife will no doubt take credit for it). JT came out and sealed the granite, letting us know if it ever needed another sealing he would do it free of charge. His crews are polite and did their absolute best to clean as they went, picking up at the end of each day. They even helped me install some appliances. JT and AIS stone wasn't the least expensive quote or the most expensive, but I definitely feel we got what we paid for, and then some.

First off, I can't say enough good things about AIS stone & marble and JT! We are in the process of a full kitchen remodel and JT has by far been the best contractor we have worked with. He and his team do excellent work and I couldn't be happier with how my counter top turned out; JT really did make my dream into a reality! We have a rather large island in our kitchen but still wanted to use a single slab with no seams. We received several quotes for the fabrication and installation of our counter top and some of the other fabricators told us that it was not possible to install the island in a single piece. JT did caution us that it would be difficult but they were able to do it and the island turned out beautifully! Additionally, some of the other fabricators tried to hide their true cost by including an upcharge on the material itself. JT was very transparent about the breakdown of the material cost and his labor cost and even allowed us to purchase the material directly. He was always prompt to return your call and actually showed up at the time he said he would which we really appreciated. They did a great job with the joint transition on our perimeter counter (you can hardly tell its there) as well as the detailed edge profile. We couldn't be happier with their work and will be recommending them to all our family and friends!

AIS Stone & Marble installed a new backsplash in our kitchen and we are very pleased with the workmanship and the price paid for the job. The crew arrived on time, took appropriate steps to protect the rest of our kitchen, replaced the tiled backsplash, and cleaned the jobsite when done. JT checked on the job personally to make sure it was done correctly and that we were satisfied. We would highly recommend AIS to our family, friends and neighbors.

The overall experience was truly a blessing. Wife and I were in need of a remodel before we put our home on the market. Our schedule was very tight, and AIS MARBLE was willing to work around our schedule to get the job done. JT was awesome to work with from the beginning to the end. He gave us great advice from the beginning and always kept us in the loop on what and when to expect things thoughout the project. He had a specialized crew for each major task, and everyone was on time and very skillful at their craft. The actual install at my house took 2 days to complete and my wife and I couldn't be any happier with the results. We are confident that it will add the value that we were looking for when we go to sell our home. We will definitely use them again in the future. I first contacted AIS by email in mid-September to set up an appointment for a free estimate. Seeing all the great reviews made me feel confident about them. When I didn't get a response to my email for ten days, I called a couple of times but didn't get a call back. Finally I managed to get through to JT, who explained he'd been traveling and hadn't seen my mail. We set up an appointment for the following Monday at 9am. We were out that weekend and when we returned on Sunday night, found two messages from JT saying that Monday wouldn't work, and could we set up over the weekend instead. I called him right away and we set up for Tuesday 8am instead. Come Tuesday morning, 10/1/2013, JT finally showed up at 8.40ish. He looked over the kitchen, took his measurements, gave us some good advice, then left saying that he would email us the estimate for the job and we could then make our decision. Today is six days since and we have received no email, no call back, no explanation. I have had many people work on my home before - carpet cleaners, vent cleaners, plumbing providers, sprinkler installers and many more, but I have never received such a runaround from anyone. I frankly believed that 71 good reviews should count for something.

When shopping around, AIS was very competitive on price, but more importantly, very responsive and easy to work with (provided an initial quote via phone and email which saved me a lot of time). We met to look at different stones, and he showed me options for backsplashes. From there, the rest of the process went smoothly. We scheduled everything, the crew was on time, and everything was finished in 2 days. No issues, and the results are great. I'd recommend.

We would highly recommend JT and AIS Stone to anyone. JT and his crew were very professional. Their workmanship was excellent. JT meet us twice at granite suppliers to help us pick out our granite. His customer service was superior to 3 other companies that quoted us prices. He also offered his companies services in repairing a chipped ceramic tile. He informed us we had some left-over granite, so we used it to install granite on a window seat and kitchen "pass-through". We can not say enough good things about him. He made big claims about his compant's expertise, but he backed it up with his actions. Would you believe we only had 2 seams after installing 3 slabs of granite. Beautiful job!

I called J.T. at AIS Stone because of his excellent score and glowing recommendations on Angie's List. He called us back immediately. He was very personable on the phone and made an appointment to come and see what we wanted to do. I was a little nervous about the entire thing because I knew absolutely nothing about granite or what the entire job would entail. I had no idea what I wanted. He arrived promptly, and assured me that he would walk us thru everything. He looked at the bathroom and listened to what we wanted. He made suggestions about what would look best and explained everything to us. We sat down and talked about what his team would do and made an appointment to look at granite. We looked at granite 2 different times and J.T. was very helpful. He helped us choose just the right thing for us and even helped us find the faucets that we needed to buy. He was actually getting married during this time but he made us feel that he was on top of everything and no question was too foolish! His team came in and were very professional and completed everything just the way we wanted it. Both bathrooms are beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased with the granite.

Installed a 44" x 88" calacatta marble slab in my kitchen island. JT is very kind and promt to respond. He took us to two granite/marble yards to select the slab. He was always able to accomodate our hectic schedule. The quote was higher than expected, but JT mentioned the marble slab was expensive, although he didn't give details of the materials cost. We are very happy with the job done!

We would highly recommend JT and AIS Stone to everyone. JT and his crew were very professional. Their workmanship was excellent. JT gives total customer service. We can not say enough good things about him. Beautiful job!

JT helped us select granite and advised us regarding different granite types and wholesale warehouse storage practices. Once we'd selected the granite JT's two workers, Rene & his helper (Pelo?), did the rest demolishing the old and fabricating and installing the new including the undermount sink. The granite slab was cut off-site but the final fabrication (sink opening, cooktop opening and fawcet hole) was done in our driveway. The plumbing and back splash was completed the day after the countertop was installed. Overall it was a good experience and JT was communicative and kept us apprised of all the details. One detail that impressed me. We wanted to try our countertops "unsealed" for three weeks then decide if we wanted them sealed. JT initiated follow up and called us after three or four weeks to see what we wanted to do and to subsequently came and sealed our granite.

First, JT was very professional and intelligent. He has a wonderful personality. He gave me a thorough explanation of all that his company can do. He also explained different types of products that he can install. He used his decorator expertise and gave me suggestions on colors and styles. I had other bids....However, this company stood out because the plumbing is included with the price. Other companies do not hook back up all the under sink equipment and install other appliances. This company will do it all. JT continually checked up on the job and made sure everything was perfect and to my liking. If I had a question, he answered it professionally and always was able to do whatever I requested. The workers put protection on the floors and were very clean. I really enjoyed having this company do work in my home.

It went great. JT helped us find the perfect granite to go in our newly remodeled kitchen. We already had some tile for the backsplash but JT suggested we use that as an accent and then a combination of tumbled marble bricks and diamonds to balance it out. We went with his suggestion and it was absolutely perfect. We now have a "Riveroaks worthy" kitchen. JT cares and takes pride in his business. Our next big project will be a complete remodel of our master suite and we will definitely be calling AIS Stone and Marble again when the time comes.

Jaison with AIS was great and his crews did a fantastic job of installation. He guided us through the selection of granite and had great ideas that were valuable for updating our kitchen. Everyone involved was on time, courteous and helpful. We could have not got better service and installation. We will definitely use Jaison and AIS for future interior remodeling.

JT and AIS Stone & Marble is a great contractor to work with and provides an excellent customer experience. He was accessible, thorough and reasonable in all aspects of planning and performing the work to be done. He spent considerable time with me on the front end in making granite and tile selections that would complement the design and color scheme for our kitchen. His employees arrived at the scheduled time, were professional, and did high quality work. Both JT and his team were attentive to the details, and were very accommodating of my design suggestions and last-minute requests. JT was personally involved throughout the job, and checked in regularly to inspect the work as it progressed from start to finish.

JT was great. He came over, gave us a bid. Then after we hired him, he helped us pick out the granite, sink, and faucet for our kitchen. He knew what he was doing when he helped us with the granite. Next he came out, made a template, installed the granite, and sealed it. The kitchen look great. Thanks JT for all the extra help.

J.T. is very easy to communicate and deal with. He is prompt and keeps appointments! He is very helpful in selecting granite - and seems to take a very personal interest in making the homeowner (me) happy! Very conscientious - as are all his workmen. No complaints - everything as promised!

The guy’s name is Jason Thomas. He came to the house and looked at everything. We discussed what we wanted to do. He was going to look into a couple of things and get back to me in a week or so and I never heard from him. My initial experience was great. I thought I am probably going to use this guy without even knowing any numbers. In the meantime I was checking out some other people so we now have somebody we are going to use who isn’t on Angie’s list and he is a local guy. We are on South Houston so we don’t have anybody local on Angie’s list. If he didn’t want the job he should have told me that it was not his expertise or could have got a contractor to do that portion of that job.

everything went according to plan. showed up on time, cleaned up and I supplied some of the supplies. what I didn't have, they bought and only charged me what it cost them to buy it. Great family owned and operated company. I would definitely use them again!

I have never had an easier more satisfying contractor experience. They were on time, worked around my schedule, and completed the job on time. The work was done beautifully. Nothing was ever a problem and there were never any attempts to upcharge me. The crews were clean and picked up after themselves. They provide service after the sale. I will never use anyone else for granite but AIS. They drove an hour to help us with a problem in our new home. We sold our home in 1 day, over asking price. I got every penny I spent back plus some.

JT was very prompt in coming to the house to give me an estimate to replace 3 countertops in my downstairs bathrooms. Since I didn't have time to take off work, he made recommendations on thickness of the granite and brought over several samples to choose from. We made the deal and his crew came at the scheduled time. They did a fantastic job. JT came back to make sure we were happy with the work done. JT is honest and trustworthy and follows through on what he says he'll do. What more can I say!!

JT and his crew did an outstanding job start to finish. He made the job of selecting the specific granite and tiles easy and provided good advice on harmonizing the colors with our existing decor. The job started and finished on the days requested. His crew was highly professional. The granite team removed the old countertops and backsplash in the morning and installed the granite the same afternoon. They did some difficult on-site cuts ensuring each piece fitted exactly as planned. They also kept the dust to a minimum and did a thorough clean-up at the end of the day. Day two, his plumber installed the range top and the new sink/disposal. Day three, his electrician installed five under-counter lights that added a dramatic effect to the kitchen. And on day four, his tile team installed the backsplash. JT came each day to inspect the progress, and after his final inspection, he sealed the granite. We are very happy with the the final product, and we plan on using AIS again in installing tile flooring in our kitchen and breakfast area.

They did our front porch and our outdoor patio, laying down slate that we picked out. They pick up the item for us and cut the shapes out in different sizes. It look great with the final product, JT was our point of contact the whole time, he went far and beyond a regular contractor. He would listen to your opinion and also give his opinion what he think is best. Those are the contractors that you want, if you going to hire someone, hire the right one. There was some changes that we wanted and he was able to please us with the changes. We would use him again. The saying goes you pay for what you get, this was exactly what we wanted. Thanks JT.
