Response from American Home Improvement
(member name removed) called for an estimate at her home for Double Hung Vinyl windows plus replacing her yard with hardscape materials, re-doing her flower beds, rebuilding her fence, planting for front and back yards. This was all done in a timely manner at a fair competitve price. She chose not to have us do her work. No contract was signed or money exchanged. (member name removed) chose to not be a customer of ours, the estimate was given and time spent with her and at no time was there any assumption that she was unhappy with our estimate or the price we quoted her.

We will never call them again.
Description of Work: I called for an estimate to get a metal roof and eaves and overhands done,the woman that answered the phone said Willie would call me back. He did call but when he found out I needed to come in the evening or the weekend when my husband could be here he said well maybe he could come Saturday,would call me back. After 2 days of waiting I finally called him. I said well usually when people are getting more than one estimate ( I had told him we had someone from another company coming Sat. morning) they are looking for the cheapest price and said they did quality work and there price wouldn't be the cheaper one and are you sure you are going to do this. I did finally agree to come out sometime after lunch on Saturday,with his wife. After I got to thinking about it I called him back and cancelled. Doesn't sound like they need our business.

American Home Improvement apologizes to you,customer, for not communicating well and not being sensitive to your feelings. Willie has been with AHI for over 20 years and has been totally professional in his care for our customers. He has 6 children and the youngest is a special needs child that require a lot of care from both parents. The round trip to Monahans from his home is about 220 miles. He had the impression (maybe the wrong one) that you were searching for the cheapest price. He did agree to come on Saturday which is usually his only day off, He is a full time pastor and also works full time as a sales representative for us. Again he did agree to come to your home to give a free estimate on the work you were interested in. You chose to cancel and we do understand and apologize for the misunderstanding and your feelings of our lack of concern. We take every call to our business very seriously and go out of our way to try to please all that call. Again we do apologize and hope you find the contractor that best suits your needs and interest.

We would not go to anyone else and we would not check prices with anyone else. We will only go to them. Their prices come out as good or better every time than the others. They have put windows in and it was the same thing. They were no more expensive than the big box stores and they include the installation. We are very, very pleased.
Description of Work: We are using American Home Improvement to put in a new door today. It is a big unit with glass panels.
