Description of Work: I was sick with the flu. When I left the hospital they told me I should see my docotor of Monday. I called Monday and was told by the staff to go to the hospital. I was a little surprised they didn't want to see me since I just left the hospital.

Description of Work: I hurt my shoulder and than had re-injured it falling on it so I went in to check on it to be sure that I did not injure joint. She listened and explained every option and I felt that I could choose which option to take in my care rather than feel pushed in what she thought was necessary.

Description of Work: I came for an allergy medicine presciption. Dr Fry was very knowledgable and kind. She discussed my options clearly. She listened well and was attentive to my overall well being. Very good so far

Description of Work: Recently moved to the area and was looking for a family physician that could handle multiple medical issues. The appointment for my first initial appointment/ physical was very prompt (within 10 days). The staff at the front desk was very friendly and polite. I was called back to the exam room within 10 minutes, once the nurse took my information the physician came in within 5 minutes after. I was having some heart issues and they were able to do a 12 lead EKG on the spot in the room I was being seen by the Dr in. My prescriptions were sent directly to the pharmacy, no paper involved, so I guess you could say they are trying to keep things green and streamlined. Once my appointment was complete I was promptly scheduled for follow up and labwork in the same office. This office has on site Radiology and Lab. I had an additional Lab appointment on a separate day and the girl drawing my blood was very skilled.

Description of Work: My primary care physician is Dr. Laura Frye. I was given an early morning appointment the day after I called. My last visit was for an x-ray because I fell off of a little step ladder and severely bruised my tailbone (coccyx). It was not broken and I was given a prescription for Napronex.

Description of Work: Ridiculous. Went to this dr because my son's pediatrician had recently retired. He has had a history with an issue that can be detected by a blood test. I took both of the most recent blood tests performed by his former pediatrician (done within the last year) the original and the follow up tests performed that showed what his levels were and also the name of the test done so I could show Dr Peterson. When she came in, she did not introduce herself at all and flopped down in a chair with a laptop and said "What's going on? I started explaining and she started typing and then came a point where she looked up and looked very confused. I asked her if she knew what I was talking about about and she said no, that she didn't even know what test I was talking about, because it was different from the one she uses. So, I gave her the tests results and she said she would copy them and look something up. She came back in about 5 minutes later and proceeded to tell me she had consulted with a couple of other doctors in the clinic and that they concluded that my son does not have this problem and that "there is no sense in doing this blood test" also she tried to tell me that his symptoms were not in line with this other syndrome that I was not even talking about. I told her "no, I am not talking about that." and I again repeated the name of the problem and also asked her that if it was not a valid problem, then why did his former blood tests show otherwise. She basically ignored me and repeated that she would not order the blood test and that it made no sense and then went on to tell my 11 year old that many people with this condition can be good at many professions like a doctor, etc. He was not too happy about that. I was floored. First she admits she has no idea what I am talking about, and then poof five minutes later she knows all there is to know. Not only did she lose me as a client, but she denied herself knowledge that could help other patients in the future.

Description of Work: The last apppointment I had was my Well Woman annual exam.This included an exam, pap smear and labs.
