They were horrendous. They said they were going to come but they didn't come. I had to call a couple of times before they actually gave me service. It was just a fiasco. I was less than impressed with them. It did nothing to my grass either. There were no additional fees. I was not happy at all.

After Isaac's visit to take measurements and pictures I never heard from them again. I did not try to call and follow up with them. I had another company perform the work.

We've used GreenTex to care for our lawn for the six years we've lived at this address. This season, the responsiveness from the owner has been almost non-existent. The crews that come out aren't in marked trucks, don't have GreenTex shirts, and by and large our ability to communicate with them has been borderline. And they've done sloppy work. Truly "mow, blow, and go." Because they were using a trimmer to do some of the mowing on our back yard (which is relatively small), they've managed to kill the grass in one section, and are gradually killing it in another. I asked Aaron to call or send a supervisor by. Instead, I got a very delayed email saying he'd "take care of it." Unfortunately, he didn't. I see some recent good reviews of GreenTex, and hope they continue. For some reason, for us it isn't working anymore. We've cancelled our monthly contract and engaged the services of another provider, one with good reviews and that is hopefully a bit more responsive.

Prompt, looks great and came back for a couple small things when I called.

They ended up charging more than I expected because my back yard is large and they said the square foot quoted was with a house on it. It Did not kill the crabgrass which was my main concern. They said that it would cost a lot more for crabgrass. Which would have been fine if they would have made that clear up front.What they actually told me was that if there was any grass left when they finished they would retreat for free.In addition to the crabgrass all of the other weeds in the yard were still there as well.By this time I was totally disgusted dealing with them and did not want to speak to them again. Sorry I am just now writing this review but have been dealing with a lengthy illness. Hope this helps someone else.

Very pleased Lawn doing much better with their treatments. Asked them to do a small landscaping job for my yard---did not seem very interested in doing that.

I needed to redo all of my front stonework around my flowerbeds and trees, along with having some steps fixed leading up to my house. I got about four bids and Green Tex bid was in line with others. Some aspects here a bit higher and some was lower, but overall when you compare apples to apples, the price was on par, if not, a little better than others. At that point, when everyone is around the same, you go with a feeling on who you like better and for me it was Green Tex and Aaron. Aaron came out and met with me and was very knowledgable and also gave good ideas on what could be done. I was having a hard time envisioning what some of the stuff would look like, but I was sent pictures of other examples. I ended up trusting Aaron's judgement on the pavestone that he was gong to use and left that decision to him (since I was replacing flagstone, it was hard for me to pick something out that I have never seen when fully put together). When you are used to a certain look, its hard to envision something else, but i am pleased with my decision on going with Green Tex and Aaron. The crew was awesome and any questions or issues that I had were answered promptly and fixed promptly. I liked Aaron's professionalism so much that I even enlisted his company to do my lawn service.

It was okay. They came out about three times. I was satisfied with them. They would call and tell me they were coming by. I would possibly use them again.

They did excellent work at a very fair price. I was very pleased.

Overall we have been very pleased with Green Tex. We moved into a new house in January and selected them for ongoing lawn maintenance over other service providers. Other providers wanted to sell us an all-inclusive white glove service with a high price tag. Green Tex took the time to know what exactly we were looking for and put together a proposal that gave us what we needed at a price that seems reasonable. They come every week as scheduled and if there is going to be a delay due to weather they let us know in advance. When finished, my lawn including the edging always looks good. We have a pool and they are pretty good about not blowing the trimmings into the pool. In the future we would like to do some landscaping and will look to Green Tex at that time as well.

I would have had him do the work had the project not been so expensive, which was not his fault.

Aaron was very nice, but it seemed as though our project was too small of a project for him to get very involved. I'm still not sure what my $49 bought, so I wouldn't recommend anyone spending the $49 for an evaluation and plan. He sent a few pictures of work that he's done in the past, which looked nice so I'm sure he does quality work. This just wasn't a fit for us. We got 3 bids and selected a different company which provided a beautiful plan. We're very excited to start the work after seeing what we'll be paying for. It's costing a little more than what Aaron had quoted, but seeing the design helped us to spend the extra money.

I only order coupon offered one time application. After some email tag. Provider performed service. No complaints. Thank you.

It appeared their deal on Angie's List was real popular because it took over a week from the purchase date to get a service appointment scheduled. They were came and sprayed so quickly that I did not even know that they had provided the service until I stepped outside to get my mail and saw the Green Tex sign in my lawn. There was also a piece of paper stuffed into my front door that detailed exactly what was done and what to expect. This was a pleasant surprise. Now after two weeks after the treatment, I am noticing that the weeds are turning yellow all around my house so this tells me that it is working. The notice tells me that I can expect to see the weeds dying in about 30 days depending on the weather. I would say that I am very satisfied with Green Tex and will definitely call upon their service again should that first treatment not rid my lawn of all of the weeds. Very satisfied customer!

I am on a contract so they come seven times a year. I would recommend them because they are consistent and responsive. If I have a question they will get back to me and they do a very good job.

This was by far the worst "deal" I've ever had the misfortune to be a part of. I purchased the Big Deal for 3 lawn treatments in September 2014. A few months prior, I had purchased my new home complete with a newly sodded lawn. Being new to Texas, I wasn't sure of the needs of the lawn but thought the Big Deal would be a good starting point. I was wrong! The Big Deal has turned out to be a Big Let Down. My lawn is now filled with all types of weeds. Green Tex applied the first treatment in early October after I purchased the Big Deal in September. After the October treatment, I never heard from Green Tex again until I contacted them late February 2015. At this time, weeds were starting to grow all over the lawn. When I contacted Green Tex, I was told they forgot about me and had missed a treatment. They finally treated my lawn today, over a month after I contacted them in February. The note left on my door says a liquid pre-emergent and weed control was applied. I'm no lawn professional but I know a pre-emergent only stops weeds if they are not actively growing. At this point, I will be fighting a year long battle to try to take back control of my lawn from the weeds spreading like wildfire. I've contacted Green Tex to see if there is any recourse for the results of having gone 6 months without a treatment because they forgot me. I'm inclined to believe if I was paying per treatment, it would not have been 6 months between the first and 2nd treatment. At the very least, I would like my $89 back. Although, it's going to take much more than that to rid my lawn of the weeds which have over taken it. Bottom line - Since I don't know all about lawns and couldn't tell Green Tex when they should treat your lawn, I'm left with a mess. Therefore, I would not recommend them to anyone unless they are able to tell them when they should treat their lawn.

They keep everything in order. They do a good job. they are prompt. They do a good job as they do. I will say they are a little bit expense then other companies but they are reliable and I can communicate them.

I purchased the $89 package and have had one treatment done in the fall with the second being done tomorrow. I am reviewing this company because of the responsiveness of the owner to my emails. I have agreed to continue with their service after the three initial treatments in the package purchased because that is really the only way to see how good this company is. I am pleased thus far and will give a review of their product after a few more lawn treatments. I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy shown to me through email. I look forward to see the results as the year progresses.

They were very, very helpful. They came in and helped us. They did what they were supposed to do. Overall, they were excellent. I shopped around and they were the most reasonable.

Service provider was suppose to show up on Wednesday AM. I got an email saying service would be moved to Friday. I emailed and called and left messages that I would not be home that day and that my German Shepherd would be in the back yard behind a locked gate. They still came by Friday and did maybe 10% of the job in front yard only. My lot is 90% back yard. I was billed the total amount. In 3 months I've been able to get a hold of Arron 1 time and was told they would come the next day. They did not come. I finally called Cititurf and had them come by. I've asked Arron to refund my money and nothing has happened there. I've chalked it up to a $65 loss.Their problem is no communication. Nobody answers the phone or email. Arron, you obviously know where I live. You did a maximum of 20% of my yard by doing just the front. You can send me a check for the remaining 80% that you did not do. You can send a $50 check to me and we can be done here. You say you are willing to refund my money? I have received nothing.

The service is great. It takes about thirty minutes to an hour. He will send an email about missing a day and when he will make it up. He is very good about communicating. They blow the grass off the sidewalk and driveway.

They are still doing a great job. He is really good about letting me know when he is coming and checking to see if I need any additional services done. I really appreciate that as most lawn services won't work with you in advance to find out exactly what you need. He is very reasonable.

Where they parked the van initially we had a spot where the grass died. We contacted the company and they did not take responsibility.
