Description of Work: Non responsive. Promises made and not kept. Pushed for up sales without doing any of contracted, and paid for, work. Really disappointed in Angie's List. Probably will not recommend again.

Description of Work: Purchased the Angies List deal of a landscape design for $99. Company rep came out promptly, looked at my yard and said I should have something back in 1.5 weeks. 2 weeks later I Emailed and asked about the status/progress for the design and told they would look into it. A week later I Emailed again and was told that it usually takes about 4 weeks. Finally got a design and it was basically a hand drawn illustration of my flower beds with an index of which plant types should go where. Not a good experience from my perspective.

In response to your request, please find the timeline outline below: 4/8/2015 - I bought the deal on Angie's List and provided 3 options for scheduling the work 4/8/2015 - Wilson Landscape responded saying they could meet with me anytime after 4/20/2015 4/8/2015 - I responded saying let's meet on 4/21/2015 after 10 am I heard no response. 4/20/2015 - I emailed them asking if I could meet with them about the work and provided 3 options for scheduling the work 4/21/2015 - They replied indicating that they had no record of me as a customer 4/21/2015 - I replied with a copy of the original email correspondence proving we had previously communicated 4/21/2015 - They replied saying they could meet with me on 4/23 4/21/2015 - I replied saying 4/24 would work better 4/24/2015 - They asked to reschedule because of the rain and thunderstorms (Friday) 4/24/2015 - I agreed to the reschedule and asked for someone to come out the following week Monday or Tuesday 4/24/2015 - They couldn't do early week and asked to do later in the week. 4/24/2015 - We agreed they would come by on 4/29 4/30/2015 - I had a work conflict (I work from home) and couldn't make the agreed upon time. I asked to reschedule the following day, they agreed. 4/31/2015 - A gentleman comes to my house 2 hours before the agreed upon meeting time. We met and talked about what I wanted to do. He said it would be at least 2 weeks before he would have the plans ready for me to review. I waited the 2 weeks, and even gave them another week to reach out to me as their website said that they were really busy and running behind. On 5/20/2015 I requested for a refund since it had been almost 3 weeks since they promised to deliver their proposal and I hadn't heard from them, not a phone call, an email, a message through Angie's list - nothing. (The 2 week lag isn't mentioned in their advertisement) 5/20/2015 - I requested for a refund. 5/21/2015 - They said I need to contact Angie's List for refunds. 5/21/2015 - I contacted Angie's List As you can see the length of this process was not a reflection of neglect on my behalf, but that of a lengthy contact time for them to schedule their initial consultation (Contacted them 4/8 but they couldn't see me until 4/20 at the earliest) and then their lack of follow-through for a 4/21 appointment, this delay is capped by them telling me on 4/30 that it would be 2 weeks before I would hear from them, and then allowing them a "grace" period to try to redeem themselves with me, but to no avail. I am also including the email correspondence between Wilson Landscaping and myself to this email. I am so disappointed in this experience because I had all of these great plans for landscaping that I'd be doing to my house. However, I do not feel that this is a company that deserves my money and I would like a full refund. The price of this purchase was $599, not a small amount at all. I have had decent experiences with other companies and deals I've used on Angie's List and have never requested for a refund previously. Additionally, you will see that I tell them in my response that it is because we are moving, this is partially true, but I knew that when we bought the offer. I said this because I wanted to "confront' them but when I looked at how this company responded to other complaints on Angie's List, I didn't think I would get very far with my request. Description of Work: Very disappointed with Wilson Landscape. I expected much more from all the reviews. They did a "design" that looked like a child drew it and then never heard from them. I sent emails asking for follow-up & their response was very vague. I sent another email asking to proceed witth the plan & never heard back - they told me they missed the email. When I complained they said "Oh well, we do 1000s & don't click with everyone. Do what you have to do" That was it. There was so much downtime between communication from them that we went past the 30 day period for refunds although they offered to help me get a "partial" one (even though no service was provided). I checked the Dallas BBB & found 2 complaints very similar to mine - both were tied to AL Big Deals with Wilson Landscape as well.

Description of Work: We had to reschedule the service a few times mainly due to the rainy weather we were having at the time. However, we finally were able to get them to come out on a rain-free day and they removed all of the leaves in our yard.

Description of Work: The contract was for three men,only two arrived. They arrived late, stayed until completed. Things would have gone better if the main worker had spoken better English. They were Spanish speaking. They were very eager to perform an excellent job. | |I had them remove the leaves from the flower beds and rake leaves from the yard, trim the hedges and pull weeds. They did a great job of clearing away the leaves and trimming the hedges. They cleaned up everything and waited for me to inspect what they had done. They made sure I was pleased with the work before they left. The yard looked great when they finished! | |I would have preferred to talk with someone who spoke English as I don't speak Spanish.

Description of Work: They realigned the landscape stone around our shrubbery. They did a very good job and were professional and efficient.

Description of Work: Wilson met with us and put together a proposal to re-sod the yard and tune up the existing sprinkler system. Then had no contact with us for several weeks. In the mean time, we realized that we needed to get a refund for the angie's list deal since we were not able to afford the proposed work. The person working with us (not Mr. Wilson) told me that was not possible because he provided the estimate - but no work was performed at that point in time. I worked with Angies list and Mr. Wilson in order to get the refund.
