After they took all the measurements they said that there were no offensive problem areas and that everything looks good. After discussing watering habits they suggested to keep it up and try to keep the soil around the foundation the same moisture. They did not try to suggest or imply any unneeded repairs which I appreciate.

Great deal. I recieved a plan of my home and told the areas that needed extra watering to avoid foundation issues. He also looked at concern I had in my garage.

Two men reported at the appointed time and spent about 45 minutes examining the foundation slab and walls and taking level readings at a large number of points inside the house. Since the slab is only 3 yeas old, I expected to find no problem and none was found. However, because many of the older homes in this part of Dallas have developed foundation problems, I was interested in preventing problems. The crew recommended watering one corner of the foundation more to keep the ground under it from shrinking. Subsequently, the company provided a copy of the foundation elevation map developed from their level reading and a cost estimate to install drain lines to remove water from the foundation more effectively. I do't know how competitive the estimated cost is and plan to do further market research.

The experience was very good. They were extremely punctual and very polite and professional. They took time to explain everything they were doing and why, and assured me that some soaker hoses in my front flower beds would likely be enough to adjust the minimal sinking I had in the front part of the house. They even offered to come back by when in the area to do another check. Great service. Good, honest people!

They were very professional, provided a thorough report, actually ended up saving me lots of money by being able to tell that my cracks did not indicate foundation damage -- extremely honest people, I trust them and will use them in the future as needed. They also provided lots of good suggestions about how to use my sprinklers more efficiently, what kinds of adjustments I should make, and even information about possible additions in terms of downspouts and rain control. They were the best!! I can't say enough good things.

The representative was prompt and professional.He provided an elevation survey for multiple points on our foundation, did a visual inspection and clearly explained results and provided watering recommendations for the perimeter of the house. We were highly satisfied with the cost and performance of the work.

Absolutely the most honest company that I have ever dealt with. I thought that I had serious foundation problems in my 30 year old home. They came to my house took multiple measurements in every room. They showed me what they found and that all I needed was soaker hoses around my foundation. That's it!!!! I was prepared for the worse...$$$$$. I did not need any work at all, very honest guys.

I am very pleased with the report that was verbally given. Although they arrived later than scheduled, they did email me while en route to let me know they would be arriving late due to traffic. Very professional.

They arrived on time, inspected my foundation and also gave suggestions about the side of my house that is lacking moisture. They also did baseline foundation measurements so if there are any issues in the future, the baseline measurements are already on file. They were very professional and courteous and I would highly recommend.

I knew there was subsidence on the north side of my house. I was concerned about the status of my foundation so I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for the evaluation. The professionals were punctual, courteous and professional. They took readings throughout my house to determine how much settling has occurred in the eight years since our house was built. They gave me a report of the findings and made suggestions on how to improve and repair the drainage patterns around my house. They even emailed a report of the readings they collected for future reference!

We ask for foundation check and we also called another two foundation repair company for estimate. Comparatively, A1 gave a better price and also diagnosis and write up for us and we have a good idea what to do.

A-1 Guaranteed Foundation Repair were fantastic. There is nothing that I did not like. They were quick and efficient. They kept their word as far as timing and they were able to get the work done in one day. They were very courteous, very friendly, and followed up. You can't go wrong with them. They did a fantastic job.

They had two guys come out and they took about thirty five minutes looking around and going through the house with me. There is a separation between the window casing and the brick on our house. We were going to have a painter come out and caulk the cracks. They said it was actually an issue with the foundation. They gave me a quote and explained that the price on correcting it was almost $4,000.00. They were patient in pointing out some other things non construction that I could do to help with drainage. They emailed me the quote but they haven't followed up yet. They were timely getting here and they gave a quick turnaround on the quote itself. They were courteous, friendly, and patient.

Overall it was a very positive experience. A-1 Guaranteed Foundation repair agreed to give us an estimate when I mentioned their referral from Angie's list, though we were at the edge of their service area. They were on time every time, went beyond the call of duty to work with us in devising the best solution to our rather complicated foundation issue. They and their staff were polite, friendly and professional, and the fact that they were able to complete the work in such a short time and with such limited mess was amazing. We appreciated their flexibility and the way they personalized the service for our needs.

Kevin arrived on time and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He took time to explain what he was looking for and also informed me of areas that I should keep checked and suggested procedures to do to prevent foundation shifting.

Working with Jeff, Kevin, and the entire A-1 crew was about the most pleasant experience that I have had. The entire team obviously takes great pride in their work. Jeff has a team that works well together, likes each other, and performs at a very high level. This review may seem like something written by a friend of the owner and not an actual customer, but I have to tell you that I am genuinely satisfied with their work. I chose A-1 based on the recommendation of a co-worker who had used them for similar repairs to their house. Jeff and Kevin showed up as promised for the initial inspection and evaluation. They very clearly explained their findings and recommended remediation steps. Jeff really enjoys his work. He called my wife and me outside to watch the actual lifting of the house. The crew completed the work in 1-1/2 days as they had promised. My side yard was piled high with 11 mounds of dirt, a correspondng set of 11 holes. and a 50 ft. trench that was 30 in. deep. After they finished their work, you could barely tell that the side yard had been nearly tuned upside down. My wife and I felt very comfortable having the A-1 crew working in and around our his throughout the process.
