Kevin was really amazing in providing very honest feedback on the work that was performed by someone else. He did a thorough evaluation inspite of knowing that he would not be able to ge my business. He is truly fantastic and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to get their foundation fixed.

The company went way beyond minimums required to satisfy me. In addition to the foundation repairs, I had mentioned that I was having trouble opening my storage building doors because of settling. The workers shimmed up the base so I can now open the doors more easily, since they brought it to level. This was included in the contract at no additional cost. I was impressed with the fact that 13 piers raised up the house to level. I am now awaiting the final plumber and engineering inspections to be scheduled.

Their services was excellent. They are a very good company. They did a really good job. They told me exactly what needed to be done. They have a good attitude. They are very efficient and they are just good at what they are doing. I would use them if I would go with their recommendation on what needs to be done. They were very honest about telling me what exactly needs to be done and what they wouldn't recommend and how they would be careful about different things. They were pretty knowledgeable. Their price was good. The quality, responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism were excellent.

These guys were fantastic. They called when they knew they were going to be a little late - no big deal, it happens. When they arrived, they immediately wanted a quick tour, so I showed them why I purchased the "Big Deal." They got to work, asking questions along the way as needed, and then sat down and gave me the ins and outs of what they found. The guys were courteous, used understandable lingo, and promised to follow up on what we discussed. I really appreciated their time and energy. And while I hope I don't have foundation issues in the future, I at least feel comfortable knowing this is who A-1 is, and will call as needed. Great guys - use 'em.

It turned out great. It was perfect. They came out with seven or eight guys. They each sat where one was supposed to be put. They dug the hole manually, which surprised me. Then they put the piers down with this electronic thing. Then once they're ready the next day the owner of the company came out and he's the one that actually does the lift. They had a guy stationed at each hole and he'd say, "One, two, three, lift." They raised it about 2 1/2 inches probably, which doesn't sound like a lot but it really is when you looked at how it was marked. It was interesting to watch them. Great crew, they cleaned up after everything they did. I couldn't have asked for a better service from them. They did really good. What stood out about them was their service and communication. What they told me they were going to do is what they did, which you don't find very much these days dealing with contractors. Part of the service is that they send out a plumber to do a plumbing test to make sure that none of the pipes broke or leaked during the process. Now, we have a sewer leak and getting plumbers out there to tell me what it's going to cost to fix the sewer part of it. We actually think the leak was there prior to the foundation repair. The gentleman that was the foreman said that as the guys were digging the dirt underneath the house was pretty wet. We just didn't know it was leaking. We think that's probably why the foundation started moving anyway. We had a good experience with this company and everything turned out well. I would say they're prices are probably competitive with everybody else. Because I'd already had them inspect it, I just felt comfortable with them. They could've been a few hundred dollars more for all I know. I just felt comfortable with them so at that point the price didn't really matter. If it had been in the tens of thousands of dollars, I would've probably said, "Let me get another bid."

Kevin & Jeff arrived right on time and did a thorough perimeter inspection and took dimensional measurements of my house. Then they took readings throughout the entire house of the 'level' of my foundation. They marked all the readings on the diagram they created, and then sat down with me to explain what everything meant. Kevin and Jason were wonderful communicators, took TIME to explain to me what everything meant. And the good news was that my watering method and schedule were right on target. They even took additional time to discuss with me a problem that my Mother is having with her home! They were absolutely fabulous and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone wanting the truth about their foundation.

Provider came over and inspected our foundation and gave recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised at the expertise.

Appointment was setup and was smooth. Guys came over - looked at the house inside & outside, each and every room. Did a bunch of measurements. nearly spent 45 mins in my house. Later they mentioned that the foundation is very good. Later that evening a pic was sent with all the measurements they made. Very professional. Very thorough. Gentlemen. Nice to work with. Highly recommended.

It went well . He was very professional , explained everything. I am doing the water plan at this time. If that doesn't do the job I will use this company to repair my problem.

The inspectors arrived at the time we had agreed on, were very courteous and professional. They explained the process to me, and measured angles both indoors and out. They gave the house a clean bill of health, but also indicated measures we could take in order to avoid problems in the future, as our house sits on a slope. I appreciated very much the fact that they did not recommend any measures they might have profited from. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of an inspection, and use their services again if we decided to move within the area.

I had a pretty good experience with them. Their price was one of the higher from the other companies that gave me a quote. They explained and showed and me that If I was going to do the work, if I do one side, how that could cause a shifting and a crack in the middle of the garage and how both sides need to be done if I need to do it at all or if it's better not to do the work at all. They were thorough in their explanation and I believe the work would have been thorough as well.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were awesome. They contacted me right away, but it was not convenient for me so I waited two or three weeks for them to come out and they were really good. I felt that they were very thorough and they explained what they were doing. They explained the situation with my foundation, which was excellent. They did not try to tell me there was something wrong with my foundation when there was not. Their work met my expectations.

Great learning experience with a professional happy to talk rain runoff. We have since implemented most of his recommendations and are doing the rest now that we're approaching drout conditions again. I would recommend an analysis be performed on everyone's home as water is the #1 cause of foundation issues.

Both men were very nice and so sweet to fix the door for me. I am a senior citizen who has to be the "repair man" since my husband had Alzheimer's. these guys were my heroes..

Jeff and Kevin are two super friendly guys that showed up on time and performed their work in a professional manner. They inspected the outside of the house, measured the perimeter and transferred the measurements to a drawing on graph paper. They then used a small instrument inside the house to measure how much drop there was in different areas of the slab from a central point in the house. Our slab was not cracked, but one corner of the house was sinking. From this information, they gave me a verbal report. I received a written report along with the drawing via email two days later that covered the whole visit along with written recommendations including watering recommendations. A very good job indeed!!!

Fantastic information. I was not worried about my slab, but they helped me understand what I need to do in watering so as to insure the ground around my slab does not dry out and shift. Some trees/shrubs use considerably more water than mere grass and I need to be careful in those areas and either use a soaker hose, or hand water those spots in order for the ground to maintain a uniform moisture level. Very satisfied. Extremely prompt. Professional. I'm glad I used this Big Deal.

They arrived right on time and got straight to looking at everything. We live in an old house that needs some work and they seemed very knowledgeable about what to do and honest about how to do that. They drew up a plan and got me a quote pretty quickly. We will be using them in the future to do the actual repair and I will repost then.

It went very well. They came out as soon as I wanted them to come out. The special was great. There is nothing wrong with our foundation. They made suggestions on stuff that we can correct ourselves. I had no problems with them at all. I would use them again.

they showed up and immediately requested a tour to view all what I determined were issues. they opened the crawl space under the house (mine is on pier and beam) and one went under and crawled the lenght of the house inspecting all the piers. The other walked through measuring the height from the ground to the flow and drew a diagram of all various levels. Once done they went out to their truck and discussed the fix and completed the diagram and estimate. They came back and walked us throught the house showing us the spots needing work. The immediate fix involved in shimming up the various low points for $2200. This was in line with other estimates by companies that did not do the measuring and level checking as was done here. I have signed the estimate and work will be one on July 8th.
